Undying Warlord

Chapter 733 For Us?

Chapter 733 For Us?

While Dilan's 'fight' against the four Primordials continued, the Primordial of the Spectran had appeared in the midst of the Ancients' battlefield.

He used his supreme spatial affinity to manifest spatial portals wherever the astray beams of the Galbian and Soularn were to impact.

The Beams of Obliteration and the Beams of Soul Incineration were released through a different spatial portal that fired straight back to the mass of four Primordials that were 'fighting' against Dilan.

"Wasn't their plan to catch Dilan and to make sure that his soul link would be cut? Doesn't this look too…personal?" The Lone Shadow asked at this moment.

He had appeared next to the Primordial of the Spectran without showing any sign of fear.

"As you can see, they changed their plan," the Spectran responded, not minding the Lone Shadow. His race was said to be unknown because his appearance and powers weren't comparable with any of the Primordial and Ancient races. Most people would think that Lone Shadow was of mixed blood from some greater races, but they couldn't be further from the truth.

The Lone Shadow was a descendant of the Spectran and the only mutant of the Primordial races. Others said that he had been abandoned but only the Creator of the Primordial Ascension and Lone Shadow knew the truth.

The situation was a lot different than one may think. This had nothing to do with the appearance of the Lone Shadow, as it was completely different from the Spectran race, or the fact that he was in possession of the supreme affinity of shadow, rather than the supreme affinity of space.

Lone Shadow was not in a bad relationship with the entire Spectran race, more like a few Primordials and Ancients who made his life into hell. At least when they had still been able to make his life hard. Now he was too strong for him to take note of Ancients and even Primordials were said to be careful around him.

Yet, even though he was extremely strong, he didn't dare to attack four Primordials at the same time, especially not the madmen who had come for Dilan today.

"But why is the World Elemental not acting? Didn't the Undying say that he became one with Milarn? He should be able to control the World Elemental to a certain extent. After all, it's a part of him now!" Lone Shadow asked unable to understand what was on the mind of the Undying.

Dilan may be powerful but he had yet to reach the full potential of his strength. It was only obvious but Dilan could become much stronger as long as he was given enough time to adapt to the powers he had been granted. After that, his true progress would begin.

It was only a matter of time before he became truly powerful…yet, he was fighting like a desperate monster that was trying to escape the clutches of its oppressors.

Was that really necessary?

"The World Elemental's strength is not restricted, which is good, per se. Unfortunately, it will be impossible for the World Elemental to control its power precisely for the time being. After all, it awoke not too long ago," The Primordial of the Spectran said before he pointed at the battlefield of the Ancients.

"The Undying, or Dilan, if you want to call him like that, doesn't want to use the World Elemental because it's highly likely that his attack will obliterate the Ancients and his allies. The World Elemental's unrestricted strength is not something anyone can handle right now.

None of the Primordials would die because they have ways to escape the attack of a being such as the World Elemental even if their strength is drastically reduced, but most of the others would probably succumb just for the Undying to free himself and escape the four Primordials' grasp."

The words of the Spectran caused lots of voices to erupt from the battlefield that was void of battles just now. Everyone was looking either at the brethren that had been killed by the ones they had presumed to be their allies, the desperate monster, Dilan, or at the Primordial of the Spectran.

Right now, the Primordial of the Spectran was the only one, who deserved a little trust from everyone on the battlefield. Almost nobody had anything against the Spectran race. The only issue they had with the Primordials of the Spectran race was that they didn't intervene in the happenings of the Universe, at all. That was, at least, how it was the case usually.

No matter what happened, the Spectran couldn't be found. They were neither the perpetrators that oppressed others but they didn't do anything against them either.

It was like they were mere spectators of the show called 'Universe'.

"Isn't he doing that because he doesn't want to damage Milarn? Why would anyone be willing to endure the pain of dying over and over again, countless times when he doesn't even know us? He is not responsible for our well-being either!" Lone Shadow voiced out his doubt and many Ancients and Abandoned Children nodded their heads.

Nobody felt like fighting anymore after they witnessed how the Primordials were acting. The Ancients stopped fighting and even the hatred-filled Abandoned Children couldn't help but avert their focus onto the Spectran who protected everyone and Dilan, who was doing the exact same, just differently.

"Milarn can heal because it was granted a shred of the Undying's power. However, you guys have only one life to live. He needs you, all of you, to fight against the Veilures."

Having become one being, Dilan and Milarn shared their strengths to a certain extent. Thus, it made sense that Milarn wouldn't be permanently injured even if the World Elemental were to destroy half of the planet!

"So you're saying that he is doing…this, for all of us?" Lone Shadow asked as he pointed at Dilan and his miserable appearance.

His entire body was holed several times, a part of his head was missing, his arms and legs had been twisted, yet his eyes were burning fiercely and so were the flames that shrouded his body tightly.

He had yet to give up!
