Unexpected Love: Mr CEO wild baby

Chapter 143 - Everyone Blames Ethan

Chapter 143 - Everyone Blames Ethan

Arriving at the hospital, Arsha immediately took Rita to the nursery. Because he doesn't want his mother-in-law to be sad before her tiredness goes away.

"Where are Ethan and Luna, why aren't they in the nursery?" Rita asked when she reached the empty nursery. in the room, there were only two incubator tubes with several cupboards containing baby equipment and medical equipment.

"Luna is still under treatment, Mom. Maybe Ethan is accompanying her," replied Arsha.

Rita walked over to her twin grandchildren who were still in the incubator. She smiled at the two little angels who would be her consolation in old age. There were no tears in her eyes. The middle-aged woman remembered her late husband who had died before he could see his grandchildren was born.

'If you knew how beautiful and handsome our grandchildren are, maybe we would stay in Jakarta and play with them, enjoying our old age,' she thought.

Rita began to wonder why the baby had to be cared for in the tube. Because she knows it's a tube for babies who are usually born prematurely.

"Why do they have to be here? They should be with Luna?" asked Rita, keeping her eyes fixed on the two babies.

Arsha was silent for a moment, then replied, "because here can make them warmer and more comfortable. This is also the doctor's advice."

"Where's Sandra? She should be here accompanying her nephew."

"Shandra might be shopping for baby equipment or cooking for Luna to eat here," said Arsha.

"Oh." Rita nodded in understanding and looked back at her granddaughter.

Ceklek...

Two nurses were seen entering the room carrying a tray containing two milk pacifiers, the contents of which were very small according to the recommended dose for newborns.

"Sorry, ma'am. We will take the baby for drinking milk," said the nurse as she opened the incubator and took the baby boy. while the other nurse took the baby girl.

Rita doesn't understand and wonders why her grandchildren have to drink formula milk. She, who has been a mother for a long time, feels that Luna should breastfeed her child.

"Why they had to drink formula milk? Is there no mother's milk yet?" Rita asked while looking at the two babies who started sucking milk from the bottle.

Arsha sighed, then approached Rita. "I'll explain later, mom. We'd better meet Luna," he said.

Instead of covering up continuously, Arsha decided to invite Rita to immediately meet Luna. he was sure his mother-in-law would be steadfast to see her daughter's condition. The most important thing is to survive and have hope.

____

Ethan is still in Luna's room while calling Dina. He deliberately contacted his mother first, so that she was ready before Andrew came to pick her up.

"Hello, Mom," said Ethan when he connected with Dina.

"Hello, Ethan. Did you call mom this morning?" asked Dina over the phone.

"My baby has been born, Mom. You have to come here as soon as possible. I've asked Andrew to pick you up, you just need to get ready," said Ethan.

"Wow, sooner than I thought. What's the gender, twin boys or girls? Or even a pair?" Dina sounded enthusiastic.

Ethan smiled faintly and glanced at Luna who was still in her initial condition, just lying weak with a fragile body.

"They're a pair, Mom. a boy and a girl," said Ethan.

"They're healthy, right?" asked Dina sounding enthusiastic. It's common because Ethan's son is her first grandchildren.

"Yes, Mom," Ethan replied.

"Luna is also healthy, right? Mommy is very proud of her. she is a kind and strong woman, for being able to give you twins."

Ethan sighed with his eyes closed. It was hard to tell about Luna's condition. But he always told the truth to his mother, it was unethical to lie.

"Luna is in a coma, Mom," Ethan said sadly.

"Coma? How come, did she give birth because something happened? She gave birth suddenly?" Dina immediately bombarded Ethan with questions.

Ethan rubbed his forehead in dizziness. but he had to tell the truth even though his mother would blaspheme him. "She fell down the stairs, Mom. I wasn't home when it happened."

"Gosh, Ethan! Why did you leave him? it's clear your room is upstairs, you should accompany her at home, so she doesn't have to go up and down by herself or just move downstairs. Why are you so stupid?" Dina sounded emotional and disappointed?

"Yeah, I'm stupid, Mom. I've done too many bad things to her," said Ethan with self-awareness. Yes, he admitted his stupidity. But all of that was useless because Luna was already suffering.

Ceklek....

Ethan turned to see the door open and Arsha came in with Rita.

"My mother-in-law is coming, Mom. we'll talk later when mommy is here," said Ethan hastily.

"Yes! You owe mom an explanation," replied Dina, sounding curt, then the phone line was immediately off.

Ethan immediately put his smartphone back in his pocket, then got up and walked over to Rita and Arsha. he greeted his mother-in-law who was stunned to see Luna's fragile state.

"Why is Luna like this, Ethan?" Rita asked as she accepted Ethan's hand.

Ethan took off his handshake, then looked at Luna as he replied, "she fell down the stairs, Mom. she had to have a cesarean section to save the baby and after that, she fell into a coma because of the impact on her head also affected her health."

Rita walked over to Luna, then leaned in to kiss her forehead. there was a pain in her heart to see his spoiled girl who had become a mother, had to lie in a coma after fighting for her baby.

"Why did she fall down the stairs, didn't you take care of her?" Rita asked with her eyes fixed on Luna.

"When it happened, I was not at home," replied Ethan.

"Did you keep going to work while she was pregnant? Did you keep leaving her?" Rita asked with a probing look at Ethan.

Arsha just stood there watching Ethan who would be blamed again after Shandra had blamed him yesterday.

"Yes, mom. It's all my fault," replied Ethan sadly. "You deserve to scold me, but let me make amends for all those mistakes. give me a chance to make Luna happy," he continued with teary eyes.

"You're already rich, Ethan. Why are you still working so hard and leaving your wife alone? Can't you just get someone to do your job? I'm so disappointed in you!" Rita turned her face and looked back at Luna with teary eyes.

Rita remembered when Luna cried because she didn't want to go to Jakarta with her. There was regret in her heart because of that. maybe if she went to Jakarta to accompany her daughter every day before giving birth, this kind of thing would not have happened. But it's all still Ethan's fault because he's the one who has taken on the responsibility as a husband.

"I know I was wrong mom. Please forgive me. I promise to fulfill all her wishes, your wishes. I will struggle to be a good husband to her and be able to take care of her." Ethan pleaded with his kneeling at Rita's feet.

"Stand up, Ethan. I will forgive you if Luna is conscious and can breastfeed her babies," said Rita firmly. She remembers her twin grandchildren who had to drink formula milk because her mother had not yet wake up.

Ethan stood back up. "Thank you, mom. I'm sure Luna will soon wake up and be able to breastfeed the twins," she said.

"Good, then maybe I can forgive you," replied Rita still with a disappointed expression. Because she trusted Ethan and forgave him when he confessed that he had impregnated Luna. but didn't even pay attention to Luna when she was about to give birth until something fatal like this happened.
