Chapter 453 453. THE FIVE HOUSES

Chapter 453 453. THE FIVE HOUSES

The fourth rank was the Yellow armor. Only then was Noah told that those given the yellow armor were officially termed, Knights.

They were individuals who had proven both their power and loyalty to the royal family and had been given the chance to become knights.

They were by default given the tasks of patrolling the castle's compound, but could also be deployed as personal knights to whoever they were assigned to.

Knights were hardly seen outside the city walls, but they went out a lot. Many things were occurring that the weaker levels couldn't handle.

There were different roles within knightship, but the expert limited himself to telling them only the basic things.

Knights were a whole lot less than the red-armored men, but the man said they were over a hundred. A very vague accounting, but it was okay.

The fifth rank was the Imperial Knights. It was a rank all knights wished to achieve in their lifetime. Imperial knights were one of the closest individuals to the royal family. Their ranks were identified by their Turquoise blue armor

They had gone beyond normal knights and were highly sought out individuals who had incredible power.

According to the knight explaining all these things to Noah, although all the Imperial knights were close or already were In the peak of the fourth tier or more, all were termed monsters even amongst their outside mates.

The numbers of imperial knights were small. And although he had not seen them gather together before. Still, they were above twenty. Rumors had it they were only 50 in number.

Noah stored all this information, managing to gauge just how out-powered he was against the royal family.

The sixth and highest rank was the White Knights.

These were immensely powerful experts who had power well into the fifth tier. They were the closest to the royal family and were in charge of their army as a whole.

Little information existed about those individuals, but apparently, each one of them did their own thing and was hardly ever in the city or the nation as a whole.

There were only 10 White knights who were considered some of the most valuable assets to the entire nation.

Noah completely understood why. If tier 4 existences were already spectacular he failed to see how tier 5 existences wouldn't be terrifying.

According to the knight, however, there was sub class for white knights. And since mostly all white knights were completely loyal to the royal family only their power was the difference. The royals made provision for lower leveled experts.

The silver knights were in this class. All of which were within the fourth rank. Only three silver Knights were ever chosen making their presence rare.

They were of the same authority as the white knights, only of lower power. Which was why the nation worked to push their prowess forward.

After all those, Noah could see why taking revenge would seem like a suicide mission. There was simply too much in play there.

"What about the seventh rank?" Noah asked. Counting only six ranks and one sub-class.

"The seventh rank isn't exactly a rank amongst the royal army. They are not considered part of us due to their low level."

"Still, these individuals are those scouted from different portions of our Kingdom. But most time they were either tier one or tier two."

"The royal family spends resources on them till they hit the third tier. But it's incredibly easy. Takes less than two years with the right amount," the expert explained catching Noah off guard.

"A bit of their potential might be affected. But it doesn't matter. They'd have the next century to prove their worth." He added.

"I see," Noah muttered recalling the resource he had won during Bozolom. If they were capable of sparing individuals tier 4 resources, pushing the mass into tier 3 wouldn't take that much.

Now he understood why most people would desire to join the army. It was an escape into a better world. They would face hardship, but in turn, would be armed with more power than the mass.

"Tell us about the royal family," Madison asked. She had been attentive during the explanation of the various ranks of the royal army. It was her turn to ask and the man was able to tell them something.

Noah gained a whole lot during the tour, not only did the different various structures of the royal castle appeal visually to him but the stories and explanations of certain things by the Knights were highly entertaining.

They were escorted to their room a few hours later where each one of them was served dinner.

Noah sat before the table in his assigned room, his eyes blank as his thoughts wandered inside the things he had learned that day. He still shook.

There were five houses of the Monderi Royal family. These families were of course birthed by and named after the five children the real rulers of their kingdom.

Apparently, not even the knight knew who the King or queen was. They were isolated within one of the many rooms of the castle, only seen by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the royal council, the imperial knights, and the white and silver knights.

Noah had understood why the lower leveled mass barely knew anything about the royals. If even officials working within the city had not seen them, how much more people who lived thousands of miles away?

Information about the king and queen was confidential. Only the imperial knights and the white and silver knights were privy to their presence.

This was one of the main reasons all knights strived to be recognized and seen as someone worthy of becoming imperial knights.

Still, the five houses under the Monderi family were named according to descending order from first born to last born.

The Khan Monderi house, the Flora Monderi house, the Faust Monderi family, the Lot Monderi house, and finally the last-born Riveta Monderi.

Yes, Riveta.

Apparently, she had no children but was considered a house on her own since she was a child of the king and queen.

The revelation had been nothing short of mind-wrecking.

Apparently, Princess Riveta was feared by the White knights for her amazing prowess and forging. She trained all ten of them apparently. As she herself held prowess far into the fifth tier.

However, unlike her brothers and sister, she disliked the activities of royalling and left the castle many decades prior.

Noah had been skeptical at first, but when the knight mentions that she had left with her personally-built tower he had no choice but to fall to the realization that he had met with one of the children of the royals. And was a royal herself.

According to the knight, she had abruptly returned to the castle about a month prior for the first time in years. She stayed for over two weeks before leaving again.

Noah could barely eat anymore.
