Chapter 483 483. COCKY ATTITUDE

Chapter 483 483. COCKY ATTITUDE

A blinding silver light filled the skies of the still-unknown region Noah had arrived in. The event was closely followed by the roaring of crackling.

Noah's attack hit something, but a wave of green flames sprung up at that point. Both energies fought for dominance. One was birthed from a far higher level of energy, while the other was only higher in the fourth tier.

To the lady's stupefaction, Noah's sparks won.

Being forced to abandon her position she shattered the sound barrier as she flew out of the region. However, as she had found out the hard way, her opponent remained far quicker than her.

Noah sprinted forward as a path made directly out of silvery-blue ice appeared before him to allow his movement.

He arrived beside his opponent and delivered a kick to her waist. She disappeared from his point of view, but he could still follow that motion.

A cloud of dust rose to the sky signifying her crash point.

Noah refused to move forward, however. He swept his gaze on the environment and took note of the many craters and burnt regions.

Their less than 2 minutes battle had laid waste to a vast area of land. He liked the evidence of the power he was capable of. But she was strong too.

Somehow she had always managed to remain in one piece. He suspected she had an item that greatly boosted her defensive capabilities.

Shaking his head when he felt her aura reach him, Noah activated one of the skills he had utilized the most during their battle.

A huge silvery-blue magical triangle unfolded behind Noah's valiant figure and several magical circles expanded in front of the magical triangle.

"Barrage of Icicle beams," Noah muttered, triggering the activation of his spell.

Huge beams of silvery-blue particles numbering fifty in number burst forward, creating an arc in the sky as they reached the position of their caster's opponent.

The results of the beams were terrible. Noah directly transformed an area of more than a 15-kilometer radius into an icy spectacle, but just like the past attacks; that wasn't all.

A silver magical circle unfolded high above the said area.

"Lightning bolt," Noah muttered again, and a flash of silver light filled the region when the magical circle discharged its energy.

The frozen area instantly turned into ash as the destruction spread even beyond that place.

Noah remained in his position still. He knew his opponent continued to breathe.

And as if hearing his thoughts, a magical circle unfolded right below him, and a pillar of vibrant green flames erupted out of it. Noah had long since left his position by then. His eyes pierced the great smoke that rose to the sky and he found his opponent.

For the first time, she now featured injuries. They weren't enough to kill her but were enough to make him push on.

His figure arrived before the still-veiled lady. Somehow the material of that cover could withstand his power.

His fist threw a punch directly at her face sending her high into the sky. He remained quicker even at that.

Noah arrived in the sky before she could, and delivered a kick to her back, sending her toward the ground again.

His feet smashed into the terrain for he once again arrived on the ground before her rapidly moving figure could. And with all the force his human form could muster Noah delivered a blow to her stomach making her travel several times faster than the speed of sound.

Wiping the blood that she had spurted, he fell into a bit of thought.

Waiting for her aura to reach him he furrowed his brows when she didn't flare up as usual.

'Has she given up,' he wondered, vanishing from that area, his departure spread chaos in the area, but he lacked any concern for his surroundings.

"How are you not hurt after all this," The lady remained on her knees. She knelt in the crater her arrival had opened. It was huge.

Noah remained silent. But only for a while. He could see she was in pain.

"I'm faster than your attacks," he responded crouching before her figure. She had a certain scent to her, he had never perceived it before.

"And why would a newly advance be this strong," She asked raising her head to stare at his divine features. Noah remained the most stunning man she had ever laid eyes on.

"Hmm... I'm just that special, I guess," Noah replied, crouching to lean closer. He stared at where he believed her eyes would be and she shivered.

"Get off me bastard. I'll kill you," She roared through her teeth as her aura flared. Merely an instant later, green flames unfolded violently into the area, and the already destroyed environment further fell under hot chaos.

"You're in a losing battle," Noah's calm voice fell from the sky as he watched the lady slowly float out of her raging flames.

She remained silent as a weapon finally appeared in her hand. A shining red spear.

"It enhances my flames even further. Get ready to witness the fullness of my power," She announced.

"Why are you telling me that," Noah questioned following her movement as she reached his height.

"I would like you to know what killed you. I have that much mercy upon my opponent," she stated entering a stance.

Noah shook his head. "Your cocky attitude will be your downfall," he announced already having plans in mind. He failed to underestimate her.

"I could say the same for you," she responded.

"After all this, I'll take your memories and learn of the truth of those that plan to kill me. I've been under a lot of pressure because of them," he explained.

"Honestly, I'm quite disappointed that this is all," Noah taunted, even if he had to lie about his feelings. He felt nothing but the will to do just as he said.

His words hit its target, and his opponent waved her weapon at his figure.

Noah remained in position, however, and a huge slash made out of green and red flames landed on his chest.

The attack flung him towards the ground and the event caused a huge crater to form.

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" His voice unfolded in the world as his lack of reaction stunned his opponent.

Noah spat a mouthful of silver blood. The attack had contained Soul energy. The only thing that could hurt his unique body.
