Chapter 519 519. VOICE
Chapter 519 519. VOICE
Folds upon folds of land surfaces curving and spiking in various landforms surrounded the duo, Noah, and his giant bird. The white nature of the snow in the area remained accompanied by the blowing of the wind. The freezing winds.
Noah remained in position, unfazed by what had just occurred, he expected nothing less to begin with.
The Thunderbird, which Noah addressed as its true personality. The young girl Erolia.
Noah watched the eyes of the Thunderbird tremble madly as its light went dim and brighter in those few seconds. His words had called out the human mind within that body.
Erolia struggled to overcome the violent nature of that body. It wasn't wholly hers yet. Or rather she owned the body. She knew its controls, only that it remained new to her.
"Come," Noah stretched forth his hand, even if he understood things wouldn't be that easy. He watched the bird's gaze land on his hand and saw its eyes blaze with intensity.
A violent high-pitched roar escaped those golden beaks to push Noah backward with those soundwaves.
The giant beast slammed into him at that point. Their figures shattered the sound barrier to fly across many kilometers until they reached the ground and began digging downward.
Noah furrowed his brows even if he felt no pain from the event. The sky high above them tried to darken, but the more the cause for the storm went into the ground the lesser its influence grew.
Thunderbirds were naturally able to cause storms, even without their energy at work. A rule that was set when that specie was created. It mattered not the world they were--storms formed at their mere presence.
Noah shook his head and punched at its beak. His fist remained too strong for that beast to withstand so it flew upwards. Through the huge hole it had created.
Noah straightened his figure and sprinted upwards at that point. He would need a bit more to get into the mind of that violent beast, only then could he call upon Erolia.
Nevertheless, the seed had been planted since Noah watched it shake its head in a struggle to get a strange sensation out of its head.
The Thunderbird slammed its head into the walls of that hole. It managed to hold itself up with its wings. But it couldn't flap them.
Noah arrived beneath it, aiming to get pain into its mind.
His fist crackled with streams of silver energy. Before he moved on, he wanted to test just how much resistance to the lightning element it had.
The moment his fist arrived on its belly Noah felt all the sparks on his hand turn on him, and the entire hole saw a huge wave of violent silver sparks filling its insides.
Noah had been bathed by his own attack. Meaning the bird's entire body remained able to deflect lightning bolts.
He shook his head allowing Muliix to cover his nakedness.
The beast kicked at him, but he remained unfazed. Its figure couldn't move much due to the limited space.
Noah allowed his daggers to appear in his hands. His aura flared and he delivered a kick to the beast's belly. This time all the strength his body could muster filled that attack.
The world around him crumbled at the sheer power he was capable of achieving.
His pet directly disappeared from his view while everything fell into chaos. A violent shaking filled the regions around him as he opened chasms with his mere kick.
Noah held no concern for the damage his environment suffered so he simply accelerated upwards to meet his pet in the sky.
His attack had managed to crush tens of bones. It was already in pain.
"I'll beat the daylight out of you, then Erolia will surface," His aura carried his words and they reverberated across the areas.
Noah landed on the beast's head. His daggers fell on its neck at that point and a searing slash filled with only flames fell from their structure to submerge the entire bird in their power.
An explosion unfolded at that point. Noah created a steady stream of his essence into that weapon, and the system warned him about the probability of destroying it.
After that battle, he would leave those weapons in his essence. They would need to get accustomed to it or at least be transformed by it.
The Thunderbird could hardly do anything when that attack filled its view.
Genuine pain filled its mind for the first time in that battle, its survival instincts took control. Unfortunately, the connection between it and Noah told it there wasn't much it could do.
Noah dived into the explosion to find the beast. A flurry of punches landed on its figure before it could even shoot toward the ground with blinding speed. The black mass in the sky cleared at that point.
"Is that enough?" He wondered to himself sensing pain through their connection. Although a connection had been established, Noah understood he had to get Erolia riding that body for the fullness of their bonding to arrive.
"Maybe a bit more," He decided even before the state of his pet could be revealed through the thick cloud of snow and earth.
Stretching his hand forward, Noah caused swords of silver light to form and manifest around him. Their numbers crossed a hundred.
He lowed his arm and watched them streak towards his pet with furious power. What followed was a violent shaking.
The swords of light created beams of light that heated everything. The snow melted, the ground burnt, then his pet voiced a screech of genuine agony.
Noah cleared the clouds of dust with his wind affinity and landed on the beast's body. It had ten of his swords stabbed into its body.
Its aura had grown weak and Noah could tell it would pass out soon.
"Can I get to Erolia now?" Noah asked placing his right leg on its head.
His eyes remained emotionless and the same for his voice.
The beast tried to struggle but it felt a force take hold of its mind. Its cerulean and golden eyes blazed with deeper intensity and then something snapped.
Noah revealed an unfeeling smile at that point.
"Erolia?" He called out again.
"Father?" Its golden beak moved to release a deep beastly voice.
