Chapter 556 556. WELCOME
Chapter 556 556. WELCOME
The whiteness of the Regna region appeared in Noah's view again, and the winds continued to blow. Or rather It had never stopped blowing as powerfully as it did. He had simply been blocked from that environment.
The winds rushed into Noah's figure upsetting his clothes, but his hair remained in place.
"He didn't even say anything much," Noah snorted, or at least tried it according to his memories. Still, the revelation the being had disclosed remained a significant sum.
"You're a servant of an immortal?" Noah addressed Elder Velsvon. The elder nodded, finding Noah's interaction with his master unique.
"Lord Thanses doesn't conform to the ways of the others. He finds them... uninspiring," elder Velsvon stroked his black beard. He never thought he would need to explain that to anyone who wasn't the master's subject. Talk less; a member of the guild.
"What do you get for being his subject?" Noah asked unfolding his aura to keep the winds around him at bay.
"I'm not exactly allowed to say that…" The expert furrowed his brows uncertainly. He however received a message from Lord Thanses.
"I have been permitted to reveal a bit more details. But most of what you'll know will have to come from the master himself."
"Before we move on. Let's decide when we'd depart from the guild for this journey. A minimum of three weeks will pass before we can think of arriving at the dark continent."
"That is of course if we don't encounter an issue. In short, we might as well estimate a month. The expert explained and Noah could only nod.
Calculations happened in his mind. The issue had to happen just when he had missions with the group. Noah shook his head.
According to Elder Ezra, she had mentioned having about 6 such missions already available. They had completed one, leaving five. He estimated a month would be enough to meet all five missions after which he'd take that break.
"One month," Noah revealed and elder Velsvon nodded in accordance.
"I thought the same," the expert said further stroking his beard.
"In that time I'll arrive as close to the peak of the fourth tier as to not be a burden," Noah nodded, already deciding to take a decision he thought he'd postpone.
"Interesting!" The expert exclaimed, suddenly unable to not believe the being before him. "Simply interesting." He voiced a deep boisterous laugh born from excitement.
"So what do you gain as a servant of an immortal?" Noah asked, understanding that the expert had tried to divert the subject.
The man furrowed his brows finding it difficult to let out that information even if he had been allowed. His master had often spoken of the heir of the god of speed. In truth, most of his subjects had no idea of who he spoke of. Each time they asked he'd tell them the future would answer that question.
Yet, he had immediately called upon him the moment the man Aiden was in the show. Even going further to call him the said heir of the god of speed. Things would surely get interesting as his master was one to search for things such as that. A fun-finder one could call him.
The elder sighed, getting ready to speak when his gaze suddenly sharpened and he snapped his eyes towards a particular point far from their position. But in a lower elevation.
Noah noticed what he noticed and focused on that area also.
'They are back?' Noah wondered finding the presence of more than 50 experts approaching the city below them.
He was right.
A tier 5 aura unfolded into the world, and the sight of Elder Ezra's leading a group entered their view and surprise appeared on Elder Velsvon's features.
"You're back far earlier than I thought you'd be," the man commented, even if his target audience existed kilometers from him. His power allowed his voice to travel that far.
Elder Sarah suddenly appeared before them with the flash of a blue light and she swept her gaze on both individuals, wondering what they did so high up. She would address the issue later, however.
"Vels… we have a problem," her expression remained stern and the man fell serious too.
"This might need to involve the others, but they're too far. Those that are still close will arrive in a few hours. I'll brief you over it, however…" she explained. "Somewhere less open," she added, finding Aiden's unyielding gaze quite unsettling.
Velsvon nodded in understanding, and Elder Ezra finally addressed Noah.
"Aiden I charge you with welcoming the surviving group. Seeing someone like you would surely lift their spirits," she gave a lame reason for that task, but Noah neither found it annoying nor was he unwilling.
He simply nodded and transformed into a silver streak piercing the clouds to approach the unmoving group. They waited for the elder.
"He's something," Elder Ezra commented and her colleague could only nod in agreement. Both elders silently disappeared from the sky after that. The briefing Elder Ezra revealed holding tremendous weight.
Noah approached the group with lax speed, but he arrived before them in no time and his appearance startled the experts, except a select few.
A black-haired man approached Noah the moment he made his presence known, and he recognized the man as Apollo. The expert whom Anna had said to be considered on Elder Sarah's level. At least at that time.
His looks remained stunning but were nothing to speak of compared to Noah's seeming divine beauty.
"Who are you?" The expert inquired, furrowing his brows. He looked tired but still had a fire in his eyes. Beholding that beauty of a man somehow unnerved him. He wasn't wrong. Noah's figure radiated silent danger.
"I am Aiden and I have been sent by elder Ezra to welcome you all." Noah kept his arms folded behind his figure whilst he scanned the faces of those many experts.
He recognized elder Sarah but she simply smiled at him.
Apollo furrowed his brows, uncertain of his next decision. At that point elder Sarah floated out of the confused crowd to stand beside Noah.
"Don't fret, Pollo. He's on our side," she nodded giving a slightly tired smile. Noah noticed but remained silent concerning that matter.
As a matter of fact, all those experts looked tired. Despite the sheer pressure their presence was capable of emitting, they had exerted themselves during the battle.
They were a gathering of genuinely top monsters.
Apollo could only give in at that point.
"I can see you're all tired from your journey. But most especially, you battle," Noah spoke allowing his mental waves to fly forward and create an invisible sphere, or so, capable of lifting their various figures.
The event startled those experts but seeing elder Sarah remain calm made them calm also.
"I'll take it from here," Noah announced flying across the sky, whilst he pulled them like a carriage mount. He arrived below the city, but to their awe, he ascended until he started to cut through the dark rumbling clouds.
A style of entry most of them thought was allowed only to the grand elders.
