Chapter 593 593. I FEEL... AMAZING
?
Noah allowed his silver gaze to arrive on the figures of the 12. They had been with him for a bit now and he essentially knew them.
The air was tense and thanks to his earlier words they understood that he had come to choose those who would return to the city. A hectic event it truly was.
"Four of you will be returning with me to deal with two of the estates. I on the other hand will deal with the last one. The Earl family's abode." Noah started explaining and they each listened attentively.
"This is how it would go, I have set up measures that would keep the events occurring within the estates secret. The chosen four will have five minutes to deal with their designated spot. After which you'll be in trouble."
He paused, sweeping his gaze on those men and women. From what he saw most of them did not want to return to the city. Thankfully they were those he didn't even plan on taking.
"Jenna, step forward. Jade step forward." Noah called out and the duo flinched even if they did just as he commanded.
"Josh, step forward. You too Davis." The two stepped forward quickly after, and the others calmed down. Cora on the other hand had been willing to go.
"You are the four accompanying me," Noah revealed spreading his right hand. A silver mass appeared on his palm and that silver mass parted into smaller chunks and floated toward the four.
"These bear my presence. With them you'll be able to enter and leave the barrier I set without making it unstable." He explained.
"Crush it and you activate its function. But that's for later when we arrive in the city. Now, however, I will empower you." Noah explained and their eyebrows rose.
"Empower us?" Jenna asked, and Noah nodded, stretching his left arm forward.
"I advise that the rest of you step back a bit," he revealed and the others directly jumped backward several meters. None of them trusted his use of words. A bit would probably be enough to kill them.
The four before Noah felt their heartbeats increase. They could almost hear their comrade's words of comfort. Real fear gripped them. But they remained in position. Expectant.
"Holy blessing," Noah muttered, pointing at Jenna first. He could smell her fear when his stretched-out arm saw triangles and circles unfolding around it.
A triangle unfolded both on Noah's abdomen and his forehead. He sensed a significant portion of his reserves vanish at that point, then saw similar-looking circles and triangles appear on Jenna's body.
She freaked out a bit; raising her hands to gaze at the phenomenon. Confusion was still evident on her features when Noah suddenly shone a bright silver flash and so did her figure.
Jenna's aura instantly exploded with power and intensity as an incredible pressure landed on her surrounding and she felt her power skyrocket.
An invisible shock wave unfolded into the world around and the ground shattered to give way to that incredible power. Jenna unknowingly began to float as her figure now shone a resplendent silver light.
Her hair floated mysteriously and even her eyes held evident silver shades. She now carried an addition of 20% of Noah's stats. In her long life, she had never felt that strong.
"I feel… amazing," Jenna revealed and her voice shook the area. Due to the suddenness of that increase in power, she; for obvious reasons, hadn't mastered control over herself, allowing for that leakage of power.
Noah nodded and took an essence pill. His reserves bubbled up and he pointed at Davis who trembled when he saw that, but he was ready now. He too wanted to experience that power.
So one by one Noah blessed them with 20% of his stats and shock waves of power followed by bursts of silver light unfolded in the deep forest.
Soon all four of those experts continued to ooze terrible power. The others suddenly regretted not being chosen.
"We will leave now," Noah announced and Erolia nodded along with the four. They still marveled at their new power.
During those moments, Noah explained to them what was happening. Those experts shook when they realized that only 20% of his full power could generate that effect.
They had heard of buffs that boosted the capabilities of experts, but this was different. It felt like they had crossed over into the higher stage. And the truth wasn't too far from that.
"Let's go," Noah said, and he took them into his cultivation room, but darkened their eyes and consciousness with his power.
The moment they arrived in his cultivation room they teleported into the city. They were before the Opoli noble family's estate and Noah could already tell that they had discovered the presence of the barrier, but no one had the type of power to bypass it.
Not only were the barriers higher stage quality and even close to the peak of the fourth tier, but the fact that they were born of speed essence made it practically impossible for those middle-staged experts to bypass it.
"Jeanna, Josh. You both will be taking the Opoli family. Utilize what I have given you before going forward." Noah commanded and the duo stepped forward. Their figures still emitted silver light, but the expression of their power had been kept on a low.
"You have about four minutes."
They crushed the small orbs of light and watched a strange mist envelop them. It felt like Aiden. They nodded and went forward.
From the outside view, everything was normal, even the four could not see anything out of hand, but Noah allowed the barrier to flicker and they saw its silver nature. It encompassed a large area.
Noah nodded when the duo were in and teleported with Davis and Jade. They arrived at the Uro family's abode and the duo entered after activating the item.
Noah and Erolia arrived before the Earl family's abode and he could already sense her hatred.
"Calm down," Noah placed his hand on her shoulder and she furrowed her brows even if she nodded.
"I will let you do whatever you like, just be careful, okay?" He revealed, activating the inscriptions that gave birth to his aura.
Erolia didn't need to have Noah bless her with 20% of his stats but he did so anyway and sent her forth to wreak havoc.
Noah on the other hand stayed outside of those barriers, ready to receive them when they finished the task. In the meantime, he conversed with the chatty system.
