Chapter 95 95. CRUMBLE

Chapter 95 95. CRUMBLE

Noah had seen a few beautiful things since he got to Creagar, most of them being cities themselves, but what lay on Moses's palms was a totally different type of beauty.

A round object the sizes of a tennis ball at most lay on Moses's palm. The ball or rather core pulsed with mana, wisps of blue light escaping it's red surface which contrasted a lot.

The ball shone with a red radiance which seemed qualitative. But the Mana itself remained blue. Noah felt like he had spent a whole day staring at the core, the panel that popped up dragging him out of his stupor.

[Mana core found]

[Quality Grade: Red]

[Tier: 3]

[Element: Fire]

[Quantity of essence left: 6230/12045]

Noah's eye bloomed with surprise when he read the panels contents. Most of what it contained he understood, but there was sure to be somethings he didn't fully understand. Right there and then he made a mental note to visit the library before he advanced, so that he could gain a better understanding of the next realm.

Moses walked towards Noah his palms cupped while it was outstretched towards him.

"Uh?." Noah exclamained. Totally forgetting that he had the right to the core.

"You killed the beast. You are the owner, and it's just a red Mana core, its not much. Though I guess if it were any stronger you would probably be dead," Moses explained grabbing Noah's palm and placing the core on it.

"Let's go," Isabella announced. But Noah couldn't focus too much on their actions since a new panel had appeared in his eyes.

[Would you like to absorb Mana core]

[Yes/No]

[Due to elemental difference, only 50% of current quantity of essence will be absorbed]

[If you absorb Mana core this may cause difficulties due to high concentration of Mana essence in your weak body]

[Would you still like to absorb Core]

[Yes/No]

Noah didn't know what to do at that point. He ran with the group but opted to stay at their rear.

Due to his low knowledge he couldn't make a decision on the matter, after all he could probably die from too much essence since the system classified his body as weak.

Eventually deciding to store the core, Noah pushed the matter for later, which was after bozolom had ended.

Dashing to the front of the group, Noah ignored the stupefied gazes of the middle tier cultivators in the group.

Multiple explosions resounded in the environment, Noah wondering why they hadn't gotten attacked by a magical beast after over ten minutes of running.

The group searched for buildings that looked solid enough to accomodate them and wouldn't collapse on their heads, but unfortunately they didn't find any.

The destruction the tier 3 beasts had caused was immense, their power put them on par with natural disasters, coupled with their numbers the city couldn't dream of remaining the same.

That sight made Noah want to get stronger already. The freedom such power would grant him was pleasant to his imagination.

Coming to the most abrupt stop his legs could muster, Noah turned towards the street on their right. Clouds of dust had formed In the street causing its inside to remain blocked out to the groups view.

Noah's abrupt stop confused the the others, but then a powerful wild aura smashed into their sense's as understanding dawned on them, causing all eight of them to go into battle mode.

Raising one of his daggers, Noah watched with horror the snout of a what looked like a rat exit the dusty cloud at break-neck speed.

But he was ready at that point, activating the ability of the dagger, Noah slashed at the snot which revealed the giant body of a rat.

The dark purple slash shot out of the dagger faster than the giant rat could reach him. It struck the snout and dug deep into the rats nose disorienting the creature in the process.

The rat missed Noah at that point, but its body which was filled with spike-like fur grazed his body, and he was sent flying in the process.

The other's could barely do anything in that Instant. The rat had appeared before they could prepare any attacks, and Noah had attacked it even faster.

A loud screech immediately resounded in the area their eardrums aching badly because of it.

The rat thrashed around the area mulitiple lower pitched screeches escaping its mouth every second.

The rat, which was surprisingly larger than the lion slammed into multiple buildings due to its painful and non-coordinated movement, demolishing most of them in the process.

Noah's body flew across the street, crashed into a building and stopped after a few tens of meters into the said building.

Inside the right side of his torso were multiple spike like objects. Intense pain spread inside Noah's mind. Though it surprisingly wasn't enough to make him pass out.

His left hand rose up then he plucked those spikes. He didn't want his body to heal wiyty the spikes in it, but a small shout escaped his mouth due to that rough action.

A few seconds later he rose up and dashed out th building. He hadn't gotten any notification about killing the rat.

Glancing at the other side of the street, Noah saw the standing figures of his team. On their faces were difficult expressions which he understood the reason for.

But he couldn't help but felt kind of hurt at that sight, no one including James had come to his aid which also really annoyed him.

Tracing the direction of their gaze's, Noah's eyes fell on the writhing rat. its large body crushed buildings every few second and it seemed to still be in serious pain.

'After just one slash,' Noah thought walking towards the group, his voice ringing out.

"Why didn't you guys attack it?," He asked in an annoyed tone.

They all glanced at him with strange expressions, until Moses spoke. "We tried but our attacks simply bounced off its body," He explained, James, Isabella and the others nodding in affirmation.

Noah heaved a helpless sigh at his words, 'I guess I'll have to deal with this,' he thought, raising his dagger again.

Noah could slash two more time before its power ran out and he didn't plan on getting injured.

Truth be told they all could just leave the beast there, but Noah wanted to pile up exp for his future advancement.

It got him really excited and curious when he wondered about what would happen if all the exp piled up to an extreme point.

Activating the ability of the dagger, Noah's environment slowed down immensely, even the writhing body of the rat slowed down enough for him to be able to target it with his dagger.

Bringing the dagger down, Noah watched a dark purple slash shoot forward at the rats currently exposed right side.

The slash, which had the length of a sword struck the rats side with extreme precision, that area beginning to lose energy and wither while also spreading.

Another loud screech escaped the rats mouth, as its trashing Increased but this time it moved towards Noah and the group.

Turning back and dashing forward, Noah left his group in the dust, they too were already running from the large beast

Surprisingly during those short seconds of trying to escape, the rat caused spikes to begin shooting out of the ground, chasing the group with them.

Noah immediately jumped on a building near the cloudy street, but before his feet could touch the buildings roof, it suddenly crumbled.
