Chapter 560 - Hope On Chen Lihua

Chapter 560 - Hope On Chen Lihua

When Chen Lihua got home, she freshened up and had a relaxing time with Taio since Liu Longwei wasn't back yet.

Chen Lihua was watching a cartoon with Taio when a visitor walked in. She has been expecting Mu Boqin, so here he is.

??

"Sister-in-law did I come at the wrong time?." Mu Boqin asked with a smile as he walked in with a paper bag.

"No, it's fine. I see something in your hand, is that for me or Taio?." Chen Lihua asked with a smile.

"You mean this? I got it for both of you. It's just a little something, so please don't mind it so much." Mu Boqin said as he passed the paper bag to her.

"Thank you!." Chen Lihua said with a smile as she accepted the paper bag and kept it aside. Then she turned to her little guy to say to him.

"Taio, this is Uncle Boqin, he is your father's friend, say hello to him." Chen Lihua said to him with a smile."

"Hello, uncle Boqin" Taio greeted as he gazed at him.

"Hello, little guy, how are you?." Mu Boqin asked with a smile as he went to squat in front of him.

"I'm fine thank you!." Taio said.

"Good boy." Mu Boqin said to him before turning to Chen Lihua to say...

"Sister-in-law, why does he look so much like Longwei, but likes you more than him?." Mu Boqin asked as he stood to his feet with his hands in his pockets.

"That's because I gave birth to him." Chen Lihua responded with a smile.

Mu Boqin chuckled at her response.

"Alright, we need to leave this little guy to watch his favorite series. Let's go over there to chat." Chen Lihua said as she stood to her feet.

Turning back to look at the little guy that already had his gaze fixed on her, she smiled and said to him, "Taio, watch the cartoon, mum has something to say to uncle, so while on a but for me."

"Okay..." Taio said before fixing his gaze back on the Tv.

"Mr. Mu, this way please." Chen Lihua said as she led him to another place to sit.

A servant approached them after they had sat down.

"Excuse me, Sir, would you like water, juice, or wine?." The servant asked.

"A glass of wine will do." Mu Boqin replied.

The servant nodded at him before leaving, and she appeared a few minutes later with a bottle of wine and two wine glasses.

"She already knew what you would want." Mu Boqin said after the servant left.

"This is my house." Chen Lihua replied as she lifted her wine glass ?

"I get it." Mu Boqin said.

"Mr. Mu..." Chen Lihua called out but was interrupted.

"You know you don't have to address me formally. Just call me Boqin, just like Longwei does."

"Okay. I heard from you about Sister Mei's dilemma. How is she physically, is she eating and engaging in her daily activities?." Chen Lihua asked.

"I have no idea. Once I'm home, she hides from me and locks herself up in the room." Mu Boqin replied.

"I think Sister Mei is scared and the only solution is to make her feel rest assured." Chen Lihua said.

"She doesn't talk to me, so I can't help her, and that's why I turned to you." Mu Boqin said.

"It's okay, I will talk to her. But first, you have to tell me more about her situation." Chen Lihua said.

Mu Boqin nodded and went on to give her more details. He told her about her first pregnancy and the combination she had at childbirth.

Chen Lihua listened attentively to him.

When Liu Longwei came back home, he saw them talking but he didn't go to meet them, instead, he walked straight to the little guy.

When Taio saw his father, he smiled and greeted him, "Hello, daddy!."

"Hello, you look like you've been a good boy today. Did you trouble Mummy?." Liu Longwei asked.

"No, I didn't. I was a good boy today." Taio replied in his cute voice.

Liu Longwei smiled as he pinched his cheeks.

"I will be back." Liu Longwei left these words before walking away.

By the time Liu Longwei freshened up and came downstairs, Chen Lihua was already done talking to Mu Boqin.

"Darling, You're back?" Chen Lihua asked with a smile as she approached Liu Longwei for a hug.

The couple embraced each other, and Liu Longwei kissed her forehead before letting her go.

"Longwei, you came just in time. I was about to leave." Mu Boqin said with a smile as he exchanged greetings with him.

"I took on extra work, so I came back late." Liu Longwei said.

"Okay, I will be leaving now. I left the house in the morning and promised to be back early, but look at me now. I'm late." Mu Boqin said.

"There is no rush, you can still make it back for dinner." Liu Longwei said.

"Thank you! When al if this is settled, let's have a little party with the guys." Mu Boqin suggested.

"No problem, settle what you have first." Liu Longwei replied.

When Mu Boqin went back that evening, he met Liu Dongmei at the dinner table. She didn't greet him as it was only his little princess that stepped forward to welcome him back home.

"I'm sorry I'm late, how are you doing?." Mu Boqin asked as he leaned in to kiss Liu Dongmei's cheek, but she dodged him in time.

Mu Boqin sighed and patted her shoulder before going to sit.

"Daddy, you should wash your hands." Angel reminded him in a kind tone.

"Thank you, princess." Mu Boqin said as he got up and went to wash his hands before joining them at the dinner table.

They had just started to eat, so he wasn't too late.

Liu Dongmei ignored her husband, as only talked to her daughter when it was necessary.

There were times Mu Boqin wanted to talk to her, but he knew he would be ignored, so he didn't bother.

The only hope he had was on Chen Lihua. He believed that if she talked to his wife, there will be a turning point in their relationship, so he was banking on her.
