Chapter 568 - Liu Longwei Makes Lunch Arrangement For Chen Lihua

Anyone that saw Chen Lihua with the big bowl of the plate, wouldn't know what she was eating, because it was a mixture of different things.

The bowl had a mixture of rice, meat gravy, and some stir-fried potato ? mixed with some vegetables.

Because she was pregnant, the housekeeper could understand her, but normally, she wouldn't. I mean, who would mix three different kinds of food on one plate, and then eat it like that.

The housekeeper served Chen Lihua a glass of room temperature water, next, she left bottle water on the table in case she would need more, before walking away.

The housekeeper went out to inform the servants not to cross Chen Lihua's path since she wasn't in a good mood.

Chen Lihua was in a bad mood because she was very hungry. Now the irony of the whole thing was that she could only manage to eat 5 spoons of the food before abandoning the food in anger.

"Why are there so many things mixed?!." Chen Lihua muttered under her breath as if she wasn't the one that mixed them up.

Chen Lihua put down her spoon and finished the glass of water in the cup, and then she rubbed her stomach and whined, "I'm so hungry!."

And with that, She left the dining area and took the elevator to the last floor. She went straight to Liu Longwei's bedroom.

She dumped her bag and coat on the floor, removed her bra, and then lay on the bed and shut her eyes.

Fifteen minutes later, the housekeeper felt that Chen Lihua would have finished eating, so she went to check on her, but she didn't see anyone.

She only saw the bowl of food, and she could tell that Chen Lihua didn't eat much.

"Madam didn't like the food?." She asked herself in a little confusion.

At this moment, Liu Longwei came back and asked about Chen Lihua, and he was told she was in the dining room, so he went over in hopes of seeing her. But to his disappointment, he saw the housekeeper with a big bowl in her hand.

"Where is my wife?." Liu Longwei asked.

The housekeeper bowed in greeting as she replied, "Madam should be in the bedroom."

"Has she eaten?." Liu Longwei asked.

"That...um... she only ate a little." The housekeeper replied.

"What did she eat?." Liu Longwei asked with a frown.

"Sir, I don't really know what kind of dish this is, but she cooked it herself." The housekeeper said as she showed the content of the bowl to Liu Longwei.

Liu Longwei frowned when he saw the mixed food. He couldn't make out all the contents of the bowl.

"Why would she eat something like this? What happened.." He asked.

The housekeeper immediately replied to him, "When Madam came back, she was in a bad mood and she refused to speak to any of us and went straight to the kitchen to cook. I had to follow her in, and could only help to wash the rice and peel and wash the potatoes and some vegetables. She didn't let me help her to cook. When the food was ready, she mixed everything in this bowl and carried it out. Because she was not in a good mood, I had to give her some space. I only returned now to see that she didn't eat much."

"What is she supposed to eat according to her diet plan?." Liu Longwei asked.

The housekeeper checked it out before informing him. Without changing his clothes, Liu Longwei got to work.

He put his suit jacket and briefcase ? down before folding his sleeves and working into the kitchen.

He washed his hands and asked the housekeeper to bring out the ingredients he would need to cook for Chen Lihua.

In 30 minutes, the food was ready. Liu Longwei dished the food and carried them upstairs using the food trolley.

Walking into his bedroom, he had to turn on the lights to be able to see since the curtains were drawn.

Liu Longwei saw his wife lying on the bed with her hair covering more than half of her face. He saw the bra on the bed, and the bag on the floor and sighed to himself.

He pushed the trolley to the middle of the room before taking the food out and arranging them on the glass center table there.

After setting up the table, he walked back to the bed and climbed onto it.

"Sweetheart?." He called out as he touched Chen Lihua's shoulders, but he didn't receive any response, so he had to lift her and relax her head on his shoulder.

Chen Lihua heaved a sigh in her sleep as she grumbled, "I'm hungry!."

"I cooked food for you, come and eat. But first of all, you have to change out of this dress. You really smell like drugs, and that is horrible." Liu Longwei said as she gently rubbed her cheeks.

"You cooked for me?." Chen Lihua asked in a sleepy tone as she felt secure in his embrace.

"Mmmm... I heard you were not in a good mood, can you tell me about it after you have eaten?." Liu Longwei asked.

"Okay." Chen Lihua said as she slowly opened her eyes. Moving her gaze to see the food on the table, she smiled.

"Thank you!." She said with a smile.

"I will do anything for you." Liu Longwei said and kissed her forehead before helping her out of bed.

I'm so hungry that I can't wait to eat. I will change out of my clothes when I'm done eating." Chen Lihua said as she walked towards the sofa to sit.

Liu Longwei sat beside her and picked out the cutlery and handed it to her.

Chen Lihua ate to her satisfaction with Liu Longwei putting food on her plate.

"Do you feel better now?." Liu Longwei asked as he let her rest her head on his shoulder.

"Mmm, thank you!." Chen Lihua said as she hugged his neck.

"Now tell me, why were you in a bad mood?." Liu Longwei asked.

"I was hungry, and I didn't find the food in the hospital's lunchroom edible. I ended up throwing up the little one I ate. Getting home, I cooked something weird because I thought I would like it, but it turned out to be trash, so I got angry and abandoned the food. But now that I have eaten the food you worked so hard to cook for me, I feel so much better!." Chen Lihua said as she rewarded him with a kiss.

'Being hungry out her in a bad mood?.' Liu Longwei thought with a frown.

That same day, Liu Longwei made arrangements for food to be sent to Chen Lihua anywhere she was, so she wouldn't have to be hungry.

'What a thoughtful husband.' Chen Lihua thought with a smile when she saw the lunch that arrived before noon when she was in the hospital the next day
