Chapter 84 - Now You Know How To Smile Without Spilling Your Grievances.
Chen Lihua kept following the instructions in the car's GPS system until she got to the location of the Tea house.
Checking the time on her wristwatch, she saw that it was 2 minutes to the appointed time, so she hurried out of the car as she didn't want to be late.
??This is one of Chen Lihua's good points, she tries to keep to time no matter what. But if she can't make it at the scheduled time, she would notify you immediately.
Chen Lihua felt that she was late already, so she entered the tea house immediately after telling the bodyguards to wait in the car for her.
Inside the tea house, Chen Lihua inquired about Lady Chen and the room she booked, and she was told by the manager that Lady Chen just entered the tea house a minute ago.
Then the manager directed her to the room Lady Chen was in. Chen Lihua smiled in appreciation and thanked the manager before hurrying off to find the room.
Having found the room, Chen Lihua took a deep breath to extinguish the nervousness she felt. She was really scared that Lady Chen would scold her for keeping her waiting. So that's why Chen Lihua wanted to prepare herself in advance.
After calming herself enough, Chen Lihua pushed the wooden door gently and saw Lady Chen and Madam Liu sitting together with smiles on their faces.
Chen Lihua stared at them for three seconds before looking at her wristwatch to check the time. Seeing that she was right on time, Chen Lihua let out a breath of relief.
After letting out a breath of relief, Chen Lihua naturally put on a smile and greeted her mother and mother-in-law before apologizing.
"Hello Mummy" Chen Lihua greeted Lady Chen before greeting her mother-in-law, "Hello Mum", Am sorry for coming late.
Lady Chen accepted her apology, "No need to apologize, we just got here, you can sit down".
After sitting, she noticed that Madam Liu was looking at her and smiling happily.
Chen Lihua found it weird as she felt that Madam Liu was about to drill a hole on her forehead with the stare. So she had no choice than to ask.
With a gentle smile on her face, Chen Lihua asked, "Mum is something on my face, you've been staring at me for a while now".
Madam Liu laughed embarrassingly, "Nothing"
"What do you mean by nothing?". Lady Chen asked Madam Liu before explaining to Chen Lihua. "Don't mind her, the reason your mother-in-law is looking at you happily is because you called her Mum".
Chen Lihua nodded in understanding.
As those words left her mouth, Lady Chen hissed in pain as she was suddenly pinched on the laps by Madam Liu.
Madam Liu gave a harmless smile as she said to Chen Lihua, "Don't mind your mother, she's joking".
Then she turned to Lady Chen and asked, "Your joking right?".
Lady Chen rolled her eyes at her, and then she immediately received another pinch on the same spot. Lady Chen managed to endure the pain without hissing before she forced a smile and said to Chen Lihua, "Yes yes, I was joking".
Lady Chen's forced smile mixed with the pain she was enduring was not good to look at, as her face was twisted.
It would have been good if she didn't bother to smile. But now she smiled, tsk tsk...
Even Chen Lihua was trying to hold her laughter in because if she dared to laugh, she would be skined alive by Lady Chen.
Inside, Chen Lihua felt happy. 'Serves you right mother. Now you know how to smile without spilling your grievances. Am sure you didn't know you would havea day like this'.
After having these thoughts, laughter was trying to escape from her mouth, and she was trying so hard not to laugh out loud that her face turned beet red.
Then she looked at Lady Chen who was staring daggers at her, as if she would be killed the next minute laughter escaped from her lips.
Chen Lihua looked away in fright and then released a series of cough to mask the laugh.
Seeing her suffering so much, Madam Liu Bilu slapped Lady Chen's arm gently while saying, "Ju Ju what do you think you're doing, can't you see that Lihua is suffering so much that her face has turned as red as ripe tomatoes".
