Chapter 74
Chapter 74
Chapter 74: Just a small world.
With the use of Health Potions, Raven and Blaze had quickly healed up all their injuries. While Ozul did not need to use any external drug as his body itself was faster in healing than any other potion.
Ozul did not try to examine his body for the new changes that he felt and decided to sleep first. Raven and Blaze also had many questions, but looking at the exhausted figure of Ozul, they stopped themselves.
No one disturbed them for the day, and it was only in the midday when Ozul woke up. At this moment, Raven and Blaze were eating since they had been starving since yesterday night.
Of course, Ozul did not need to eat, so he started checking his body for any injuries that had not healed yet. Fortunately, just the 8 hours of sleep had closed all his wounds already.
Then it was the time for sorting out all the jumbled up information that had suddenly ‘unlocked’ after attaching his leg back.
Raven and Blaze came back at this point to see that Ozul was sitting cross-legged on the bed with his eyes closed. They did not dare to disturb whatever he was doing and also took a corner each in the room to meditate.
All the chaos that happened in the previous night was a wake-up call for them that they may be genius talents, but their genius was only valuable if they could survive until they reached their potential.
.....
So what if both of them were Rank-5 Mages at such a young age when they would still be helpless against Rank-7, or some strong Rank-6 Mage?!
Raven was particularly vexed at her situation. No matter how much she tried to improve herself, she always ended up being useless whenever Ozul needed help.
Always needing Ozul when the situation was dire, and never being able to be of help whenever he needed it, annoyed her the most.
She still remembered the feeling when Ozul was inside the Monster, and all she could do was watch with tearful eyes. Raven did not ever want to feel that way ever again.
On the other hand, Blaze was also worried that if he were not strong enough to be of any use, then Ozul would abandon him.
Sometime later, Ozul had finally finished sorting through all the disordered information inside his mind. He opened his eyes to gaze outside the window but quickly averted his sight again when he saw the burning Sun.
No matter how good he felt, the bright lights still irritated him to no end! He noticed the troubled expressions on both Raven and Blaze’s faces, but his mind was on something else.
He was thinking about all the changes in his plans due to the new information that he just organized.
The information that actually made sense was scarce, but even that bit of information changed his entire view of everything.
All the other information was in bits and pieces, so no matter how much Ozul tried, he could not understand anything of it.
The only thing that made sense to him at this moment was that those life-like eerie symbols were the reason for all this information.
However, it also created many questions such as,
‘Why did those symbols not absorb inside his body right after his birth?...’
Ozul did not dwell on these questions for too long since if he were to start thinking about all the questions, he would only waste his time.
Then he thought about the most peculiar piece of information which was complete, but the ‘data’ was vague.
This piece of knowledge just vaguely described that this world was not the only one that existed. And it might be one of the weakest among the thousands of scattered worlds in the infinite cosmos.
Now in most cases, Ozul wouldn’t care even if he was the weakest of all the ants in the universe, but this information meant many things for him.
It meant that his end goal of comprehending everything about his existence would not be so easy that he had thought.
If he had the information about outer space and other worlds, it meant that the clues about his own existence were not only limited to this small planet! His answers could be anywhere in the far ends of the limitless cosmos!
This planet may not even contain anything related to him at all!
‘Just how much time would it take me to grasp my own essence?... Sigh.’
With a sigh, Ozul stood up from the bed without creating any noise, taking caution that he may not disturb Raven and Blaze.
He did not want to answer Raven’s endless barrage of questions while he himself felt conflicted inside. He had not even been able to search around this small world thoroughly, and now he found out that there existed many higher worlds out there.
However, like his other two companions, Ozul did not feel down or helpless. Instead, this situation only caused him to reform his plans into more busy ones.
This step would surely disturb his peace and comfy times, but it was necessary if Ozul wanted to achieve his goals.
Breaking the plan in steps, the first step would be to obtain his parts back. And the mini-plan to achieve this goal had already been set in motion by him. He just needed to wait before the fish took his bait.
In the meantime, Ozul decided to check the changes in his body brought by the reunion of his leg.
When he did so, it brought a small smirk on his face. Unfortunately, no one was there to see the rare sight.
When Ozul had merged with his leg, it not only improved his overall power but it also loosened the previous restraint that he was facing whenever he tried to absorb the Cores. Hence, he had taken Edwin’s Rank-8 Core.
He figured that a fight against some Rank-9 Mage would not be so one-sided. But he was already more than enough to kill a Rank-8 Mage even if he was Rank-9 Fighter as well.
An example would be Duke Edwin, who could not even see his strikes, much less counter it.
Moreover, he still needed to test where his limits laid before he was required to be complete to advance further.
The most significant change, however, would be Ozul’s signature and only attack ‘Ball of Purity’.
Its amount had more than doubled from before. When before Ozul could only make his leg and some few needles, now he could even use it as both of his arms and still have enough to fight with!
The color had no change whatsoever. How could the already flawless thing get even purer?
Ozul’s control over it had also improved leaps and bounds. Controlling it even as far as 9 meters radius from him would not be a problem.
Just at this moment, someone knocked on their room’s door. Raven and Blaze both opened their eyes to look at the door as Ozul thought;
‘So the fish took the bait...’
