Vampire Overlord System in the Apocalypse

Chapter 396 - Quick Victory

Chapter 396 - Quick Victory

Nattannia roared angrily, the void continued to devour her body as she roared monstrously back at Noah, he smiled maliciously as he released more and more spears from his Aura spear, while pushing forward his divine energy into enhancing the Void Calamity effect to its limits!

"GGRRYYYAARRRR!"

Nattannia's entire body groaned in agony as she was being engulfed by the void, her power was shattering apart as it was being engulfed as well! Noah shamelessly continued to push her down and down, but she resisted with everything she had!

CLASH! SLASH! BOOOM!

The spears began to pierce through her entire body, her power was weakening, and her mouth's razor sharp teeth could not land nor reach Noah! She was slowly despairing!

"Unnggh…! You damn invader… Are you another Evil Dragon God?! I will find you and devour you one of these days! You won't escape from my maws… I must fulfill… my revenge against the gods!" roared Nattannia, with a voice utterly alien to her original self!

Noah noticed this in a split of a second as he confronted the voice speaking from her body while it was slowly being consumed.

"Who are you!?" he roared.

"GRRAAAAGGH…! Y-Youuu…! Why would I do such a foolish thing as telling you my real name! I will… not be defeated! I am nothing but a fragment of my true self! You won't get away with thisssssss…!"

"Then die!" roared Noah, his power suddenly enhanced itself to new heights as it began to consume Nattannia completely, his divine energy was used to almost all of its full amount and the body of Nattannia was consumed and broken to shreds, her soul as well, was cracked into pieces of glass-like material, as she died on the spot.

"GRRYYYYAAAEEEEGGH…!"

Crack… crack…!

CRASH!

Noah's might knew no bounds! Despite being overwhelmed by the intensive divine power of this fragment, he pulled out a great victory… although the challenge he experienced left him with valuable lessons of how to fight, his mind flashed with countless thoughts as this fight served to enrich his experience in more ways than he could had imagined.

He flew down below towards Nattannia and saved her corpse and soul fragments inside of his Divine Realm, as he saw that the rest of the children had also been done for with their prey, all of them had flawlessly killed them without much issue.

The children flew towards Noah while showing off their prize, Noah grabbed the soul fragments and allowed the children to feast on their prey. Dante and Eleanora received extra head pats from him, as they had pulverized their enemies, even when they transformed into hideous half-dragon and half-beast creatures through the effects of the divinity fragments inside of their souls.

Meanwhile, Noah grabbed the divinity fragments of the souls of all these spies, and gathered with the rest of his allies, all of them looked over these fragments with great interest and intrigue. Just what was this?

They looked it down and analyzed each one, realizing they were like a divine souls, but only fragments. It was odd, it was as if such fragments had life of their own and had taken over the soul like… a parasite.

"A divine soul parasite? What an odd creature." Said Arthur.

"Amazing. I wonder if we can do the same and become parasites of souls?" said Timassa.

"I wouldn't want to be that." Said Arthur.

"To be honest, this looks like highly belonging to a powerful Dragon God, a Dragon God with the power to easily divine his soul like nothing must be clearly a formidable one no matter what… Perhaps this Dragon God is lurking somewhere near?" asked Clementina.

"Indeed, it could be anywhere now that I think about it, but my power of seeing things didn't detected it, meaning that he is within another space while being in this space. How?" wondered Jon.

"Probably a Divine Realm, the other Dragons did said that the Dragon Gods here, after reaching a certain Level in their dragon hearts, undergone changes and become living deities, being able to defy the power of mortals and acquire inner spaces where they could store their things or powers, divine realms." Said Noah.

"Oh, you're suggesting that the culprit behind this is within a divine realm?" asked Timassa.

"Seems like a classic battle, we break through into his divine realm and devour him, end of the story." Said Iris.

"Don't be so rash this time, Iris. This god might truly be an issue if not handled correctly. If possible, slowly." Said Noah.

Noah shocked his allies…

Slowly?!

He was really trying to solve things slowly now…

"Indeed. I want to investigate this place, and devour the Heroes, and while doing so, I will slowly pick clues and other things as we advance further into the battle against him… If possible, I want to see where he could be and ambush him correctly. Looking for him may cause too much chaos, mayhem might be too dangerous of a thing to happen, especially because the entire destruction might trigger dragon gods looking from above. This Kingdom seems way more important for such Gods, as they're like their farming horde of mortals that give them more divine energy through prayers and the like… Therefore, triggering them might be fast too…" said Noah.

However there's a thing they were missing, the soul fragments!

"I will now proceed to devour these soul fragments to acquire the memories they might have, anything goes, and then, we might get a better idea of where this bastard might be located. I have a few ideas though, such as this place, right in the ground!" said Noah, having the feeling that this Evil Dragon God might even be alive in the underground and hiding from him and anyone that had ever tried to confront him before…

However, for that, he required further investigation, and now, he looked at the pile of soul fragments with a bit of hunger, grabbing them all and eating them gluttonously like a hungry monster!

Crunch, crunch, crunch…

The sound of the souls being crushed inside of his mouth as quite delightful…
