Chapter 90 Mockery
Chapter 90 Mockery
Villain Ch 90. Mockery
The second archer watched in horror as Allen's claw was stained with the blood of his fallen comrade. Fumbling with his inventory, he quickly retrieved an Invisible Crystal, hoping to disappear from sight before it was too late.
But before he could activate the crystal, Allen had already made his move. With a swift motion, he grabbed the first archer's lifeless body and hurled it towards the second archer, his aim true.
The body collided with the archer's hiding spot, knocking him off balance and sending him sprawling to the ground. His Invisible Crystal clattered from his grasp. In an instant, Allen had already launched his attack, and the black lances were already hurtling toward him.
In a panic, the archer tried to dodge and weave, but his efforts were in vain. One by one, the lances struck him, tearing through his clothes and shredding his flesh. He cried out in agony as the pain seared through his body, his vision blurring as his health dwindled rapidly.
As the last lance struck him, the archer fell to the ground.
Even with that victory, Allen couldn't relax. The sound of thunder crackled through the air as the mage launched a bolt of lightning toward Allen. Allen reacted quickly and disappeared into the shadows, leaving the mage to strike the empty ground.
After Allen appeared elsewhere, he used another skill. 'Fly!'
A pair of large, black wings burst from his back. They stretched outwards, unfurling like a demonic cloak, and then with a single flick, they propelled him upwards and into the air.
Without hesitation, Allen launched himself at the mage. His eyes glowed with fierce determination as he pulled his claws back, preparing to strike. He felt the wind rushing past him as he soared through the air, his demon wings slicing through the air like blades.
The mage couldn't believe his eyes. He had never seen the Devil Emperor fly before. In all his battles, he had only seen Allen fight on the ground. The sight of the pair of demon wings flapping behind Allen's back was both terrifying and awe-inspiring.
But before the mage could do anything, Allen's claws were already extended, ready to strike
"Run!" yelled Mac.
Mac's warning spurred the mage to action. He quickly turned around and pulled out his crystal, frantically trying to escape. In a matter of seconds, Allen had closed the distance between them, and with a single swipe of his claw, he split the mage's body in half.
The mage fell to the ground.
With his demon wings flapping behind him, Allen hovered in the air and stared down at Mac, who was now visibly upset. The wound on Mac's chest had healed, and he was now covered in an aura buff that made him seem almost invincible. Allen couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement rush through him at the sight of this.
Mac gritted his teeth and raised his sword once again. He knew that he couldn't run from Allen, but he was determined to put up a fight. Allen merely grinned at the challenge, his eyes glinting with anticipation.
"Now tell me, where is your little healer? Let me kill her once again and enjoy your frustration like the last time," Allen taunted, relishing in Mac's discomfort.
It was just a guess, He knew that if he was right, the last healer would be with Mac, hidden away somewhere. It was a common practice in the game to form parties with other players to increase your chances of survival. As he thought about it, he remembered that Mac had been saved by the healer twice before. It was highly likely that he would have recruited her into his party. Of course, that was if there were no other factors going on, like if the healer decided to stop playing or already has friends to play with from the start.
Allen scanned the battlefield, searching for any sign of the healer. He was determined to find her and take her out before Mac had the chance to use her healing abilities again. He could see Mac seething with anger beneath him, gritting his teeth in frustration.
Mac's mind raced as he tried to come up with a response. He had hoped to keep Yora's presence a secret, but it seemed that Allen had already figured it out. His heart sank as he realized that he had led Yora into danger.
Meanwhile, Yora was trying her best to avoid detection. She had used her Invisible Crystal to hide from the enemy's line of sight and was slowly making her way toward her hiding place.
However, with Allen's attention focused on Mac, Yora had taken a gamble and positioned herself in his blind spot, right behind the devil emperor himself. She knew that it was a risky move, but she had to take her chances. She could only hope that Allen's attention remained on Mac and didn't turn toward her.
Mac sneered, "Come down here and face me like a real man, instead of hovering in the air like a coward." He tried to bid sometimes for Yora.
"Coward?" Allen repeated in a mocking tone. "I'm just making use of my skills to gain the upper hand. Why should I come down when I have the advantage?"
Mac gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, clearly frustrated with Allen's response. "You have no real talent!"
Allen's smirk widened, "Are you so afraid of me finding your little healer?" he guessed, completely ignoring Mac's mockery.
Mac's eyes narrowed, "I have no one here! It's just between you and me!"
"Ah, so you do care for her," Allen teased, "How sweet. But don't worry, I'll make it quick and painless." Again, he completely ignored Mac's words.
Mac glared up at Allen, "You talk too much! Come down here and fight me!"
Allen shook his head, "I don't think so. I like it up here where I can see everything that's going on. Including your frustrated face."
