Chapter 86 8: Here Comes The Heroine!!
Chapter 86 8: Here Comes The Heroine!!
?
Serena and the annoying Templar left together, but because she knew some 'truths' about Estella, Irina and Lucifer, she didn't cause any trouble and let them stay.
Rather, he noticed as she was leaving a strange wistful look upon getting on the silver carriage and heading back into the church territory.
'Strange Bishops... Why do they all give off this super frustrated feeling!'
Lucifer took a moment while Estella was heading into the inn to get a morning meal dragging Irina, who looked tired from all the work they must have been doing. 'But wasn't the church a little heartless after a Hero died?'
'They just swept it under the rug like nothing?'
[Have you forgotten the world? It was an Erotic Game!]
'....'
[Still not completely aware?]
'Well, I know the game was an Erotic RPG, but this place is the real world. So how can it be so strange and so convenient for males?'
[Because the game was based on the future of this world, not the world in the game.]
'Future?'
Lucifer began to listen to her explanations as they entered the hotel.
However, they didn't notice behind them on the roof was a beautiful woman with golden eyes and wings fluttering gently in the breeze, who looked his back with a loving and obsessive gaze.
She then looked to the sky with spite and aggression.
"You dare to ask him to do more for you? What right do you have, incompetent girl!"
The moment she spoke, the entire sky trembled; grey clouds swirled like a tornado while thunder churned and crackled before Gwendolyn scoffed, her eyes on the white carriage carrying Bishop Serena.
"I will allow him to fight that fake goddess. Then, if you show your ugly face before him again..."
Suddenly as if arguing back, the sky parted as several bolts of lightning struck the area around Gwen, deflected by a golden barrier that began to crumble and break from the impact.
A poor tree was burned to a crisp as its bark cracked and fell into the road.
"So, help me, goddess. I will drag you down to this earth and smash your face into the ground until your face is nothing but mud."
Her eyes were sharp, piercing and focused on the eye of the false storm.
"If I could become a fallen angel just to see him at the moment of his death."
"Then don't even hope I wouldn't become a fallen deity to protect him from a little goddess who doesn't know the difference between a bucket of water and the sea."
Nobody knew this small tiff between a former true goddess, the planet's guardian and a lesser goddess, Celestia, happened.
Only Sylvia, amused while teaching Lucifer the truth of the world and making him realise it was not a game, and the distant Celestina, who had barely touched upon the divine, could sense.
Yet, she only knew that Celestia was angry.
The golden wings and light on Gwendolyn's body slowly faded as she smiled gently as if she could hear her beloved and his stupid questions.
Dropping from the roof, her feet landed without causing a dent in the mud as she floated down with the last of her divine power.
"Well, my darling seems to be a little down and hungry. Let's cheer him up~ fufu; my husband is both this world's main villain and Hero... amusing, how amusing!"
Skipping into the inn, a rowdy breakfast with the three women and Lephalia began with Lucifer's mood slowly fixed thanks to their gentle and affectionate words and actions.
Even the innkeeper added extra bacon to the meal seeing his glum face.
Lucifer didn't notice yet, but the number of people who loved and cared for him grew daily from his little actions.
A grumpy, slightly violent but gentle vampire is what they thought of him.
Yet he was the man who would solve trouble if it got bad.
Thus they began to adore him.

[Unknown area, roadway]
A silver longsword sliced through the neck of a goblin, cleanly beheading the monster, as the silver gauntlet holding the sword twisted before stabbing another goblin that jumped from the bushes with a sharp rusty dagger.
Without wasting a single strike, the black hooded cloak hid the swordsman's face as the blade dragged slowly from the goblin's chest.
The threat finished, the group of 10 knights got back on their white war steeds and began to ride along the forest road, beheading a stray arrow aimed at their chest casually with her long blade before kicking the sides of her hoarse and riding into the forest, with her sword at the ready.
Her group was an elite unit responsible for slaughtering the few goblin archers still in hiding after their vanguards were ambushed at night by 30 goblins and fled inside the forest, calling out for help with distress messages using their knight's sigil.
They Rode past the corpses of a dozen dismembered goblins and a few crushed caravans, the soft pink lips pressed together until turning a pale white, as the beautiful hidden face showed a look of sorrow, dead children and males torn apart littered the shallow forest entrance. At the same time, the drag marks of carts seemed to lead deeper inside.
"Countess! You cannot do this; there may be more than just the 30 goblins!"
"Celestial light, guide my divine judgment and kill my enemies!"
?Holy Smite?
A beautiful voice, like the hymns of the most pure and lovely maidens in a choir, as her soft lips still trembled at the loss of life.
She pointed forward as a flicker of golden light zapped her finger before forming into a 30cm long bolt filled with a creamy gold colour, the power so strong it caused an ear-grating vibration before shooting towards the dark forest.
Light magic shot forth, illuminating the forest and showing dozens of goblins, their bodies immediately scorched and exploded, leaving nothing, but the few arrows shot in response from 10 different spots, causing her horse to tremble slightly under her majestic legs as she stood upon its saddle, raising her longsword at the ready.
"Rembrandt, we are knights of the kingdom before we are nobles! Our people have been killed, slaughtered and worse! I cannot leave those women to such a fate when their loved ones rot in the open air!"
The female knight removed her cloak to avoid getting stuck on the twigs and branches. The goblins in the distance now rushed forward, swaying before stepping off her mouth, slashing across the chest of a goblin archer as her figure flew, landing 15 meters from her horse.
"Rembrandt, order two people to watch the horses and track the drag trails; if anyone flees, protect them with your life, and if they cannot run, get them back safely!
"Countess..."
"I am a knight, Rembrandt. The knight that shall support the Hero." Her voice was stalwart, filled with deep power, as she rushed forward, her blonde hair in a high ponytail, now locked in a brutal melee with the goblins.
Her body gave off a faint glow of golden light, using her blue eyes like the azure ocean to perceive their movements well.
"May Celestial light bless us, smite their wicked souls!"
?Holy Arrow?
A 20cm golden arrow appeared, the power so great that the tip seemed to form into a sharp point before releasing, instantly piercing the forehead of the goblin, exploding with the force of a small cannon shell and leaving only the goblin's legs behind.
Her holy magic could deal massive damage, but the speed was much slower, making her a perfect combination of offence and defence.
"Countess, your horse!"
The knight known as Rembrandt shouted out as the goblins rushed forward; a tall goblin wearing crude leather armour and holding a short sword charged forth, causing the female knight to raise her longsword, taking a defensive stance, dodging 5 stabs by shifting her body and slicing through its waist, watching as another goblin jumped forward, stabbing its rusty sword towards her horse.
The horse neighed out as a bloody line appeared across its stomach, but the countess kicked forward, twisting her body, landing against the goblin's chest as she grabbed her longsword, chopping off its head, spinning around as her black leather armour shone, showing the faint golden runes within.
"Eliza!" The horse was fine as its powerful muscles tightened the wound, allowing the countess to stroke it softly with a golden light at her fingertip. "Don't follow me, girl; you must remain pretty and avoid scars to meet your future husband."
"Neigh."
"Don't worry, girl; I won't be reckless." She smiled, pulling back, charging into the forest.
Rembrandt cursed, pulling out his halberd and blocking the goblins as the other nine male and female knights charged into the forest.
Each was a noble, learning the arts of magic and combat since childhood, each with a title and skill, all having a reason to escort the countess to Rinvale to meet the Hero, and none could hold them back.
They had survived the academy training and passed the selection test for the Royal Knights.
But as Rembrandt, with his scraggy brown hair, looked forlorn...
None of them could compare to the future Celestial Knight, daughter of the current generation Sword Saint and Celestial Knight...
How could she not be a genius beyond their imagination?
"But why... Why doesn't she wear the iron-plated armour and only leather!?" He lamented, knowing she would return covered in wounds.

'Ah~ their swords are cutting my flesh. The pain sends tingles down my spine more. Make me hurt more... I can feel myself getting close to the edge!'
Her lust and desire, wanting the goblins to cut her, as she felt the sharp pain licking his bloody lips, causing the goblins to tremble at the sight, their little green erections grew soft at the strange woman's glowing eyes, no matter if they cut her, or hit her with maces.
She could NOT stop!
'Hah~ what is this smell? Why do I love it more? Oh god!'
She could smell the goblins from a distance away, and finally, she found the cavern, where she could feel 30-something, but there were more.
'They smell so good, ah~ the lust... the lust of these filthy goblins is hitting my nostrils, I want- no, I NEED more!'
She moved swiftly, the goblins in the cave noticed her, and the goblins outside rushed towards her, as she lifted her legs, easily dodging a rusty short sword but taking the brunt of a heavy mace to her thigh; she jumped into a tree, feeling the branches crack under her weight.
'Yes, fuck my body with a club!'
"Ahh~" Her voice released, letting the goblins hear her, hearing the goblins curse in the gibberish tongue before rushing towards her.
Her thighs trembled, her nether regions getting wet as she bit her lip, causing them to bleed, her eyes glowing a ruby red as she landed countless slashes, cutting down the goblins, each one of their weapons hitting her leather armour.
The sharp blades left slight cuts on her pale smooth skin as she licked her lips, her leather boots digging into the muddy ground as she ran, swinging her longsword, decapitating a goblin's head, but an arrow shot, causing her to twist her waist as a sharp pain shot from her leather shoulder.
'Oh god, their lust... the pain, that determination to strip me bare and fuck me until I am broken! I can feel it crawling through their bodies; oh god, this feeling is amazing!'
She could sense the lust inside the cave as her tongue reached, licking the blood from her cheek, her eyes showing a deep crazed lust, as her leather armour was now in tatters.
'Why do they look at me with such terror... please, hit me, fuck me, break me!'
But her little daydream ended as Rembrandt and the other knights arrived, longbows shot arrows culling the running goblins, their halberds and spears penetrating them easily.
As from the cave, the knights found the missing women...
