Chapter 2576 VIP Hall

Chapter 2576  VIP Hall

Lin Mu barely looked around for five minutes before he got called.

"Lord Imperator! I welcome you to the Imperial Alchemy Pavilion." A man dressed in elaborate green and yellow robes greeted Lin Mu.

Lin Mu could see the Imperial Court's crest on his left chest as well as the ranking below it.

It very clearly read 'Pavilion Head.'

"Hello, Pavilion Head." Lin Mu cupped his fists in greeting.

"Forgive me if I took a little too long. We have a lot of guests visiting today," the Pavilion Head apologized first. "To what do we owe this pleasure?" he inquired.

"I wish to rent one of the Refinement rooms for my personal use. Would that be possible?" Lin Mu asked.

"Of course! You can take our VIP room right away," the Pavilion Head answered with enthusiasm. "To think we'd have the Imperial Imperator coming himself. You don't need to worry about renting it; you can use it as long as you wish with your ranking." He added before looking at one of the many attendants that were nearby.

"Ensure that Lord Imperator has everything he needs. Bring any and all herbs and materials he might need at a moment's notice," the Pavilion Head strictly instructed.

"As you command," the attendants bowed their heads.

"I won't be needing any extra herbs or materials. I have all the things I need with me already," Lin Mu informed them just in case. "What I mostly need is the protective arrays and the refinement arrays of the pavilion."

"Ah, I see. You can do as you please, Lord Imperator. That is no issue at all," the Pavilion Head said before gesturing toward the back. "The attendants will guide you there right away."

"Thank you." Lin Mu could tell the man was busy and that he shouldn't take up too much of his time.

The position of an Alchemy Pavilion Head was very high in the Imperial Court since the man would be in charge of manufacturing all the alchemical materials and pills that the Imperial Court and the army needed. In fact, Lin Mu could sense the man's cultivation base and found him to be at the Seventh Tribulation Stage of the Immortal realm too.

'To think he's at the Seventh Tribulation Stage too,' Lin Mu remembered that such a cultivation base was usually something the generals of the Imperial Army were.

They were considered powerhouses and held the front lines when expeditions were carried out or when a war was ongoing.

Other than the generals, there were other experts at the Seventh Tribulation Stage of the Immortal realm, like the Formation Hall Head, several of the ministers, as well as a few clan heads that belonged to the nobility.

While thinking of this, Lin Mu was soon brought to the VIP room.

"We've already registered your identity in the Grand Array, Lord Imperator. You can operate it directly now," the attendant spoke. "If you need anything, you can simply use the array to procure them, and they'll be sent right away," he added.

"I'll keep that in mind," Lin Mu said as he entered the refinement room.

~SHUA~

As soon as he stepped in, the arrays within the room lit up, and seven Formation circles surrounded Lin Mu. He could see a lot of options on each of the circles.

"This is rather elaborate." Lin Mu had not seen an alchemy room of this quality before.

He had visited the one in the Serene Glass Valley as well as a few others before, but they were not at this level.

Each of the seven circles had a specific function, ranging from selecting herbs, fruits, extracts, and mineral materials, changing the controls of the refinement array, selecting cauldrons, and a master formation circle that controlled it all.

'The ones that the Withered Spirit Daoist used were actually on this level too,' Lin Mu compared them in his memories.

While they were on the Celestial Level, the complexity was relatively the same. Knowing how to already use them, Lin Mu expertly selected the master control and changed the settings.

~SHUA~

The array changed almost instantly as the floor opened up and a new cauldron appeared there.

"Four-legged Crimson Heart Steel Cauldron." Lin Mu specifically selected this cauldron from the hundreds that were available here.

It was a special cauldron made for the refinement of Beast Materials. Making a cauldron like this was very difficult since the Crimson Heart Steel used for it was only manufactured with the Crushed Hearts of Fifth Tribulation Stage Immortal Beasts at the very minimum.

As such, making it would be very expensive, and that was if one had the capabilities to do it.

If this was Lin Mu from before, he wouldn't have been able to use this cauldron properly. But now he simply connected his Immortal Sense with the cauldron, making it hum lightly.

"Hmm… The familiarity is surreal." Despite it being his first time, Lin Mu felt as if he had done this thousands upon thousands of times.

He immersed himself in feeling the cauldron for a few seconds before commanding it to open.

~DENG~

The lid of the cauldron floated up and hovered in the air, revealing its dark interior.

"Time to start…" Lin Mu took out the Tyrant Bull corpses that Lady Kang had procured for him.

~SHING~

Lin Mu took out Afternoon Pine and began cutting away at the corpses.

~THUD~THUD~THUD~THUD~

With his sword skills and sword intent, he had no issues cutting through the tough flesh of the Tyrant Bulls. Each of the corpses was about thirty meters in size, which was over three times as big as the one Lin Mu had gotten from the Crown Prince.

After all, these were fully grown adults!

As such, it took Lin Mu about two hours to butcher them all and separate the flesh from the bone.

"Hmm… this should be enough for about eight or even ten tries," Lin Mu estimated as well as he could.
