Chapter 2602  A White Haired Clan

Lin Mu had talked to Monk Hushu and Ziran, learning that it would take them a month to arrive. This gave him the perfect opportunity to fulfill his promise to Lanbao and visit the Deep Sapphire City.

The Teleportation Array was completed within a couple of weeks, allowing Lin Mu to use it directly to reach the new settlement built by the Haima Tribe, known as the Great Haima Port.

This settlement was established on the islands located above the position of the Deep Sapphire City and had been expanded to accommodate new ports, enabling ships to dock properly. In addition to the ports, numerous new buildings were constructed, resulting in a city that spanned approximately five square kilometers. While small compared to most cities in the Immortal World, this was merely the initial stage of development.

As trade and business flourished, the settlement would expand as needed, with the option to artificially enlarge the island. Moreover, thanks to the superior control exerted by the Deep Sapphire City's arrays over the surrounding five-hundred-kilometer radius, no storms or tides could threaten the city. The waters would remain calm, offering a safe haven for ships.

This feature was invaluable, as there were few such sanctuaries within the vast oceans. Typically, ships could only stop at their final destination, enduring rough weather and potential attacks from sea beasts along the way. The Great Haima Port now stood as a unique and critical hub, facilitating not just trade with the Haima Tribe but also providing a resupply point for passing vessels.

Lin Mu was given a tour of the city by the Haima Tribe members. Following this, he was escorted down to the Deep Sapphire City through the Teleportation Gate. Entry to the Deep Sapphire City remained highly restricted, and apart from Lin Mu, no other humans had been permitted entry. The Haima Tribe intended to keep the city as their safe haven indefinitely.

"Lin Mu!" Lanbao materialized near him, sweeping him into a tide that transformed into a hug.

"Whoa!" Lin Mu exclaimed, surprised but quickly realizing she was simply in a playful mood.

He spent time entertaining her, engaging in activities with the aquatic beasts and the children of the Haima Tribe. The tribe had seen a surge in births over the forty years since achieving stability, bringing a sense of vitality to the city.

The twins and Little Shrubby enjoyed playing in the city again, while Ashy experienced it for the first time. During their week-long stay in the Deep Sapphire City, Lin Mu and his companions tried various new seafood dishes. This allowed Little Shrubby to collect more cooking ingredients and replenish his meat supplies.

Lin Mu was also presented with materials and pills deemed useless by the Haima Tribe.

"Just how much is all this?" Lin Mu asked, staring at what was essentially a hill of treasure chests.

"We collected all the shipwrecks and sunken goods we could find within a two-thousand-kilometer radius," Elder Niji replied.

"Still, this is quite a lot," Lin Mu remarked, noticing the names of merchant groups and organizations inscribed on some of the treasures.

"Once something sinks into the ocean, it belongs to no one and is free for the taking," Elder Niji explained. "We cannot use most of these items, so you may have them all. While we sorted out the intact and usable materials, there are likely pills and other items that have been damaged by the ocean."

"I'll sort through them and organize later," Lin Mu said, accepting the treasure gratefully.

With this additional fortune added to his stockpile, Lin Mu decided it was time to take his leave.

"Farewell, Elder Niji, Lanbao. Perhaps the next time I see you all will be in the Celestial Realm," Lin Mu said, addressing the Haima Tribe members who had gathered to see him off.

"You'll always be welcome here, Saviour. Whether it be here or in the Celestial Realm, you will always have a home with us," Elder Niji responded warmly.

"Yes, yes! Come visit us again! I'll gather more shinies for you!" Lanbao added enthusiastically.

"I'll definitely visit again," Lin Mu assured them before stepping into the Teleportation Gate.

SHUA

When Lin Mu opened his eyes, he found himself back in the Capital City of the Dao Wind Empire. Making his way to the Crown Prince's personal palace, he entered the courtyard gardens, only to find a group of people dressed in white and blue robes.

Approximately ninety percent of them were women, with only a few men present. All of them possessed striking beauty, and even the men had a distinctly feminine appearance. Lin Mu was initially puzzled about their identities until he saw a white-haired woman approaching him.

"Mei Nienzhen?" Lin Mu raised his brows in surprise. "You're here too?"

"Come," she said simply, grabbing his hand.

"What is it?" Lin Mu asked as she led him away.

"Meet," Mei Nienzhen replied curtly.

She brought him to the side hall of the Crown Prince's palace, where several people were seated. Among them was the Crown Prince, along with more women in white and blue robes. At the head of the room sat a strikingly beautiful woman who appeared to be in her forties. Her mature charm was accentuated by a small mole on her cheek.

Lin Mu could feel an air of significance emanating from the gathering, and he braced himself for what was to come.

The woman's eyes were like the purest of sapphires and stared into Lin Mu as if he were mere air.

A faint pressure also exuded from her and Lin Mu sensed her cultivation base, finding it to be at the Seventh Tribulation Stage of the Immortal Realm.

"Hmm… Now I see why my lazy daughter was so active." The mature woman spoke before standing up.

She walked up to Lin Mu and boldly held his face in her hands that were cold like the first snow of winter. "A warm heart and vitality that overflows. A mind that does not waver in the face of beauty and neither does it tread into temptation." The woman read Lin Mu like a book.
