By the time Han Jin and others rushed out of the cave, Yalina had already begun to fly. Han Jin yelled at her, but instead of turning back, Yalina waved her hands to gesture Han Jin’s group to follow.

Han Jin then released the Green Light and caught up with Yalina within a few breaths. “What happened?”

“Look!” Yalina pointed towards the direction of Thunder Valley.

Their current location was not touched by much lightning, but the lightning strikes seemed particularly concentrated in the direction of Thunder Valley. It was the electric storm in the distance that caused the abrupt fluctuations in the brightness of the sky that they had previously noticed.

“What is that?”

“I can’t explain it right now!” Yalina reached her hands out to Han Jin. “Quick! Fly me over there! With any further delay, the rain might stop.”

Han Jin briefly hesitated but quickly chose to believe Yalina. She had grown much more mature than before, and she was likely serious.

Han Jin then pushed Yalina’s hand away, flipping to hug her waist. Suddenly, the Green Light accelerated, shooting straight towards Thunder Valley. Noticing Yalina’s anxiety, Han Jin had to disregard etiquette; the acceleration of the Green Light would dislocate her arms if he only grabbed on to her wrists.

Yalina abruptly screamed. She was not blaming Han Jin for his lack of etiquette; having sufficient experience in the air, she knew how it worked. However, he was just way too fast! She never actually fully realized the greatness of his flying abilities when she watched from the ground; she could only feel the extreme stimulus as she actually experienced it.

Han Jin continued with his altitude low, barely over the tip of trees, as lightning bolts dropped down from the dark clouds above. Before they reached a certain degree, each and every cultivator had an unspeakable fear against natural lightning. They did not fear The Palm Thunder or the Thunder Trigger of similar consequences, however they carried much fear for the natural deal. Per the tales, when developing from Earth Immortal to Sky Immortal, the first calamity in the path was the Thunder Calamity, with another Fire Calamity from Sky Immortal to Gold immortal. The level of Sky and Gold Immortals was too high for average cultivators to reach, but the Thunder Calamity was a real and serious hazard; each Dao faction kept large sums of related information. There was no way to avoid the fear of such; Han Jin preferred to avoid the lightning all together.

Seeing tree after tree swaying towards her body like monsters only to vanish behind like flashing lights, the extreme velocity nearly made Yalina suffocate. She then screamed, unruffled by emotion, like most average girls—- she continued screaming, each pitch higher than the last.

Compared to Yalina, Han Jin was much more calm; he even had the spare time to gaze at Yalina with curiosity.

Noticing Han Jin’s attention, Yalina quickly used her hands to cover her mouth and began concentrating elements with consciousness. She attempted to give herself a magical shield, so that in the unfortunate case of a crash, she would be able to guard herself, without troubling Han Jin.

However, it was very difficult to concentrate elements while moving fast through the air. Han Jin flew at ten meters per second, causing all the electric elements that Yalina collected to scatter behind; with Yalina’s spiritual power, the electric elements did not disappear immediately, leaving a trail entirely made of electric elements nearly a hundred meters in length through the sky.

After just a few seconds, a lightning bolt appeared from the clouds above, instantly striking the electric trail behind. The lightning bolt then turned around in an extremely mysterious fashion, catching up with Han Jin from behind, exploding next to the Green Light upon impact.

The Green Light immediately lost balance. Yalina could only feel the Earth and sky spin around her head; with ear-piercing screams, she took out two Magical Scrolls by muscle memory. One of the scrolls was Instant Movement, which she intended to release in a decisive point to defeat Han Jin; the other was the Magical Shield. Yalina briefly hesitated and chose the latter. Although Instant Movement could guarantee her own safety, she did not have the habit of forfeiting war companions to flee away alone.

Han Jin remained calm and controlled the Green Light to his best ability, smashing tens of trees blocking the way, climbing up less than ten meters from ground, and shooting towards the side at an angle.

“What are you doing?!” Han Jin shouted loudly. He didn’t notice that Yalina was concentrating electric elements with her spiritual forces, leaving an arc-like element chain behind.

Yalina was attempting to concentrate more elements to release magic. She turned around towards Han Jin’s eyesight, noticing the chain of elements.

Suddenly, another bolt of lightning struck the elemental chain. She could already sense the lack of elements, but she never expected the quantity. Moments later, a regiment of eye-blindingly-bright electric lights dashed towards the two, surrounding them at all angles before they could even react.

The Air Manipulation Spell had a certain amount of defensive capacity—- it should at least be able to stop the wind caused by rapid movements. However, two high voltage natural lightning strikes would push the spell beyond its limits; the lightning striked through the Green Light, landing right on the magical shield, then turning into countless tides, as a near infinite amount of tiny electric arcs flowed in all directions and disappeared.

The Green Light spun horizontally in madness. Han Jin used all his force to barely take back control of the flying sword; Yalina had to use both her hands to hug Han Jin’s waist to prevent being thrown off.

“What are you doing?!” Upon returning to balance, Han Jin shouted loudly once again.

Yalina said nothing. She was too young, and was unaware of too many unfamiliar environments. Were she to be given a second chance, she would have done nothing; if Han Jin could control their flight through such a dangerous environment, there was not much need to worry.

Seeing Yalina’s quietness, Han Jin couldn’t say anything more. It was to his surprise that Yalina suddenly burst out into laughter upon looking back at him.

“Why laugh?” Raphael sternly questioned.

“Your hair...” Since Han Jin had reduced their speed, Yalina was no longer in fear; she even began to make jokes.

“A crow landing on a wild boar only noticed the dark skin of others, failing to notice its own dark skin.” Han Jin’s face still looked dark, “Do you think your hair is looking great?” Although the magical shield released by Yalina shielded the thunder, it couldn’t negate the characteristics of the electric elements previously released; the elements made both Han Jin’s and Yalina’s hair stand straight up. Fortunately, their distance from Julia’s group was sufficiently far, and nobody else saw the embarrassing scene.

“Ya!” Yalina touched her hair, and was promptly triggered, asking, “Who did you call a crow?”

“What would you do if I said somebody else?” Han Jin gave tit for tat, throwing all his gentlemen etiquette out the window.

“You...” Yalina thought for a bit, suddenly showing signs of a smile, “If I’m a crow, you are the wild boar, right?”

Han Jin went briefly silent; he could only express his murderous intent through his eyes. However, Yalina wasn’t even a bit fearful of him, and remained smiling. Showing respect? Some people may have; Yalina wanted to follow in Han Jin’s footsteps. Her actions were entirely unrelated from fear. She indeed couldn’t do what Han Jin could, but the vice versa stood as well, such as cultivating a powerful giant frost dragon. Precisely said, both Han Jin and Yalina were of near equal importance to the team, and neither of them were affordable losses.

“Yalina, what do you want to do?” Han Jin asked, his brows frowning.

“I thought of a legend about thunderbirds. The thunder today should last quite a while. Plus my magical matrix....” Yalina suddenly quit speaking, showing her snow-white teeth; “I will give y’all a surprise.” Yalina then began to walk into the valley.

“Hey...” Han Jin stood still.

“Why don’t we just keep moving?” Yalina turned her head and yelled.

“The thunder inside is too dense and constitutes as a safety hazard.” Han Jin said.

“Are you forgetting that I am an electric character magus?” Yalina said with great confidence, scanning Han Jin. “Are you... afraid?”

Damn! Han Jin cursed inside. He wasn’t fearful, but he indeed had some great worries about the lightning strikes. He preferred to not journey straight ahead given the density of strikes.

“What are you thinking about? Move!” Yalina grew somewhat anxious. Seeing the continued lack of a reaction from Han Jin, an important thought appeared in her head. She then sang a spell as dimly lit Magical Shields descended onto Han Jin. She then showed a sarcastic smile, reserved for times when the privacy of others was breached, “Are you... really that fearful of lightning?”

“Fearful?!” Han Jin turned towards Yalina with a gruesome stare, as he strode into the valley with large steps.

En route towards the depth of the valley, Yalina continued to take quick glimpses at Han Jin as she laughed secretly; when Han Jin turned around, she posed with a solemn and quiet appearance.

They had finally reached the place where the electric arcs were the densest. Yalina stopped in her tracks, and said with pleasure; “The elements here are so concentrated! Great! Raphael, take the thunderbird eggs out.”

“What do you want to do?”

“I want to be a summoner.” Yalina spoke with a smile. “Of course, they are different from real summoned animals, in that I can’t summon them from nothing; but they could remain with me at all times!”

“No way?! I...”

“What?”

Han Jin opened his mouth, but decided to swallow his words; he originally planned to turn all the thunderbird eggs into vital energy, but he didn’t have time to execute his plan. Seeing Yalina’s face filled with wishes, he had to remain silent.

“Quickly!” Yalina urged.

Han Jin began grabbing the thunderbird eggs out one by one; though many were lost in battle, more than 160 remained. Suddenly, a mysterious scene unfolded; when the thunderbird eggs were initially taken out, they appeared to be dull; however, seconds later, the dense electric arcs illuminated the thunderbird eggs one after another, like magical everlights.
