Huo Yunting went to grab his woman under the hot water, as he raided her open mouth with his lips.
His breath held her, as she kept gawking at him. She hated the sensation as she squirmed in his embrace, with her fists vigorously hammering him.
Huo Yunting released his lips, “Lu Zhao Yang!” He glared at her, enraged, as he uttered her name syllable by syllable.
Lu Zhaoyang was unmoved by his threat. It was the day when her ex boyfriend passed away, no way she could carry out intercourses with another man!
I just can’t do it! I just can’t!
“Can it be not today?” She peered through the column of steam as she pleaded. She might not see his entire profile clearly but she could certainly feel the anger in his eyes.
“What do you mean ‘not today’? Why?” She could not answer to that, as her sincere answer would have only driven the man further up the wall.
“Come on, just one day, pretty please?” Lu sobbed slightly as her eyes welled up, unclear if it was tears or the water.
Huo Yunting sneered as he pressed her against the wall with his other hand taking off his belt.
That was red alert for Lu. Her head shook frightfully in denial.
He sank into her as he began seizing every inch of her skin frantically. He had lost control, like a wild beast gashing its prey. Lu could no longer stay still, as she mustered all her strength and pushed!
Huo Yunting backed off, lost balance and slipped off. His back fell onto the white tiles. A loud bang it was, that had amplified the ambience of the shower after. Her eyes quivered upon seeing scarlet linings forming at his forehead.
He hissed, as he tapped the warm sensation streaming on his head. It was red, like his outrage before.
He was bleeding as he pursed his lips, sucking his teeth, “So much work for somebody else.”
“I...I...” Lu was already at a loss for ideas when she saw him bleeding, “Hold up!”
She grasped a towel at the rack and ran out to take her mobile phone. The screen of her phone was smudged with her messy fingerprints as she dialed the wrong number few times at first. When the call went through, “H-Huo Li!” She shouted, “Bring the first-aid kit here, now!”
Huo Li might be that little fanboy who would dance around Huo Yunting like a leprechaun, but he was still a decent doctor. He was the spy, the assistant and even a doctor for the president.
She hung up and flung her phone to the bed before running back to the bathroom. The water was still running when she went to close the tap. Huo Yunting was at that corner away from the showerhead, as he lit up his cigarette.
The smell of nicotine took over the scent of shampoo. She could not tell if it was smoke or steam that lingered in bathroom. For some reason, she felt chills in her backbone upon seeing him.
He’s mad! Oh no...
She tiptoed to him and observed with caution. The wound seemed rather severe as blood constantly oozed out of his forehead. It would be a heart-wrenching sight if the wound sullied his polished face.
She went to lift his arm, “I’m so sorry...Let’s go get you changed. Huo Li is coming.”
Huo Yunting, with his eyes away from her, dodged her incoming grip. He rubbed the cigarette against the wall and walked out as normal.
Lu Zhaoyang remained in the corner and stumbled upon the stain of blood on the floor.
When Huo Li came with his honking ride, they were already at the living room.
Huo was resting on the sofa with his head lifted when Huo Li cleansed his wound, while Lu sat across the table, looking at them with her hands restlessly twiddling her skirt.
It shouldn’t—become a scar, right? With all the technological breakthrough today—right?
Huo Li skilfully bandaged the wound, “Man, Brother Huo, you’re too wild. You can take it easy next time, it’s not like your girl would run away!” He teased.
“You done?” Huo Yunting returned a frown.
“Yes sir!” Huo Li hastened his steps as he anticipated an outbreak soon.
He MUST leave or else!
