Wedding Agreement With CEO

Chapter 121 - ALL IS OVER

Chapter 121 - ALL IS OVER

"Honey what you say is true?" Lucas asked wanting to confirm what Ellena had said a few minutes ago.

Now they were in the room, standing opposite each other. Lucas grabbed his wife's hands, holding them tightly while staring intently at the two brown irises.

"Yes, Lucas. I do love you," Ellena replied, blushing a little.

A smile appeared on Lucas' face. How come? After a long wait, he finally got Ellena's love. Having that woman completely was the thing he had dreamed of the most all along and now that it was all over, the agreement ended to coincide with what he had been waiting for.

He no longer had to worry about his wife's feelings. It's just that he still has to find a way to convince his mother about the real condition of Ellena's family. He really didn't want this lie to continue. However, worrying about his parents who might oppose their relationship, after knowing everything, forced him to lie and hide Ellena's true identity.

"I'm so happy to hear that, Honey. Thank you for being willing to love me." Lucas said with slightly teary eyes, unable to hold back his emotion.

"I am grateful, because you have been willing to accept me and my family who have many flaws." Ellena replied with a smile and Lucas replied in the same way.

"To me, you are a complement to all my flaws. I've never seen the slightest flaw in you." Lucas said, tightening his grip on his hand.

"I just found out, why God gave me such a complicated trial all this time," said Ellena, starting to guess the wisdom behind the bad events that she had experienced a few years ago.

"Why?" Lucas asked, looking down at his eyebrows, curious.

"Because it turned out to be God's way of bringing us together," answered Ellena. "I don't know what it would be like if I was born a rich person. Maybe I could just compensate for the damage to your car and we wouldn't be getting married like today." She later explained.

"Luckily I'm a poor person, so you can take advantage of the situation." She quipped before Lucas managed to respond.

"But you like it." Lucas replied, hiding the smile on his face.

"No!" Ellena argued with a nose that looked deflated.

"How can a woman dare to refuse Lucas Fidell's charm. I know that, including you." Lucas said slightly puffing his chest, then poked his wife's chin as he wanted to tease.

"You?" Ellena immediately rounded up, her face turning redder when Lucas received this treatment. "The first time I did refuse, but you insisted!" annoyed.

"But now you don't refuse. You even said that you loved me." Lucas replied, still trying to tease his wife. Somehow it was always a fun activity for him. Even since the first time he was Ellena's husband.

"Weren't you the first to be seduced by my charms?" Ellena asked turning things around, because all she knew was that it was, that Lucas had loved her first.

"But at least I'm honest with myself, with you too." Lucas replied, not wanting to lose.

"That's up to you. You're such a bitch, Lucas!" growled Ellena. She seemed to fold her arms in front of her chest, then looked away in any direction.

"Hey, I'm just kidding. Come on ... don't be angry like that." Lucas coaxed as he grabbed both the bases of Ellena's arms.

"You suck!" snapped Ellena still not wanting to look at her husband who was pitiful in front of her.

"I'm sorry." Lucas said with an apologetic expression. "You're very sensitive, Honey." He added later.

Seeing Ellena who was silent, Lucas immediately pulled his wife's body into his arms, then landed a short, meaningful kiss on the top of the woman's head.

"Don't be so angry, I don't like it." He whispered, then kissed the top of Ellena's head again.

"You made me angry." Ellena hissed while still in her husband's arms.

"I apologize." Lucas seemed to stretch his arms and looked closely at his wife's face. His gaze was sincere, as were his words.

"Yeah, I have forgiven." Ellena replied quietly.

"Okay, now you take a shower first. I still have a little work to finish." Lucas asked, developing a smile.

"Okay," said Elena.

Without waiting long she went straight into the bathroom, while Lucas seemed to be crawling up on the bed, opening his cellphone, intending to send some emails to his co-workers.

It only took about half an hour, Ellena had finished with the body cleaning activities. She was seen wearing a white bath robe with a small towel that seemed to be wrapped around her hair.

"Are you done?" Lucas asked, focusing his eyes on his wife.

"That's it. Hurry up and take a shower. After that we have dinner," said Ellena.

"Okay." Lucas immediately got off the bed and headed for the bathroom.

Considering that it was already 06.00 pm, he was forced to do that, although there was still some unfinished work. Because he has been monitoring his wife's activities for too long this afternoon, many of his work have been neglected.

"Honey, did Filia call you today?" Lucas asked as he turned to Ellena who was sitting in front of the dressing table.

This time, Lucas had just come out of the bathroom, finished cleaning up. He looked shirtless and only wore a towel that covered part of his lower body, while his hands seemed to dry his wet hair with a small towel.

Hearing that question, Ellena immediately turned to Lucas.

"No problem?" asked Ellena in surprise, shaking her head slowly.

However, Lucas did not immediately respond to Ellena's question. He seemed to walk towards the wardrobe, took a set of casual clothes from inside there.

Shamelessly, he wear the clothes in front of Ellena and suddenly made the woman turn her attention in any direction, not wanting to see anything that might tease her.

"Why? Haven't you seen everything in me?" Lucas said which made Ellena chuckle in annoyance.

"You make me curious, Lucas!" snapped Ellena still annoyed. However, did not want to turn towards Lucas.

"Curious? Curious about mine?" Lucas' question again made Ellena even more furious.

"That is not what I mean!" said Ellena, shouting a little.

"Don't shout at me like that!" Lucas replied not wanting to lose.

"You suck, Lucas!"

"But you like it," Lucas teased as he opened the towel still wrapped around his waist, after he finished fully clothed.

"Crazy! How could anyone like your madness!" Ellena cursed unsparingly.

"Ha ha ha!" Laughter immediately broke out in the room, at the same time Lucas threw his towel on the bed.

"Lucas, don't put towels on the bed." Ellena annoyed, "you're so filthy!"

Getting that attack, Lucas immediately scratched his head which didn't itch. This was the first time he had been yelled at for something so trivial.

"Move it to its place!" asked Ellena emphatically.

"Yeah."

With lazy steps Lucas grabbed the towel back and placed it on the towel rack in the bathroom.

"So, what's with Filia?" Ellena asked as Lucas had just come out of the bathroom.

"She resigned from the company." Lucas replied in a relaxed tone as he walked towards the bed.

"What?" Ellena widened her eyes, surprised by what she had just heard from her husband's mouth. "Did I hear wrong?" She asked for sure.

"No. She did resign, Honey." Lucas leaned his body against the back of the bed, sitting with his legs stretched out.

He reached for the gadget that was lying helplessly on the nightstand, then he immediately checked the incoming messages that had already piled up and asked to be touched one by one. Nothing special about his message, apart from his co-workers and business clients. In addition, there are also incoming messages from Michelle.

Michelle :

'Good evening, Lucas. What are you doing right now?'

Not wanting to ignore it, Lucas immediately switched to another message that he thought was more important. However, he immediately thought back to the incident this afternoon, when he was monitoring Ellena's activities at the cake shop. Ah, somehow he asked about their sudden closeness.

Meanwhile, Ellena immediately stopped her activities, because she started to worry about her best friend who suddenly resigned from her husband's company. In fact, she knew that Filia had just been promoted to the company and it was something Filia had always dreamed of. What exactly made her friend suddenly make that decision?

Confused. Of course she was still curious about Filia's reason. Oh shit. She even forgot her best friend. Let alone to meet the woman, she didn't even contact Filia.

"But what is the reason?" asked Ellena as she got up and walked over to her husband, without finishing combing her hair first.

"I don't know. She just told me that she was going back to the village and not going back to the city." Lucas answered briefly looking up at his wife, then focused back on his cellphone screen.

"She resigned or did you fire him on purpose?" asked Ellena, peering into her husband's face. Now she was standing right next to Lucas with her arms crossed in front of her chest.

This, of course, made Lucas quickly look up and put his phone back on the nightstand.

"Oh my God, Dear ... How could I fire her. In fact, I just promoted your best friend," said Lucas, who did not accept his wife's accusation.

"Then why did she resign?" Ellena whispered thoughtfully.

"She told me earlier that she would call you." Lucas informed.

"Is that true?" asked Ellena enthusiastically.

"Yeah. You'd better call her right away." Lucas suggested.

"Okay."

Without wanting to delay, Ellena immediately grabbed the cell phone that was next to Lucas's. She then immediately contacted Filia's contact. However, it's a shame not even once the call is connected. Only the voice of the operator answered the phone.

"The number you are calling is bussy."

"The number is off, Lucas!" cried Ellena even more worried.

"Don't worry too much. She's an adult, she can make her life choices.. You'll call her later, maybe she's busy right now," Lucas reminded him.
