Chapter 133 - HONESTY
Chapter 133 - HONESTY
"I'm getting married, Elle." Filia answered softly while forcing a smile.
"Are you serious, Filia?" Ellea got up and walked over to Filia, sitting next to the woman.
She slightly tilted her sitting position to the side, looking at her friend seriously and a little enthusiastically.
"I'm serious, Elle," answered Filia as she turned to look at Ellena with teary eyes.
"You never told me you had a boyfriend." Ellena pouted slightly and changed her gaze to a questioning one.
"Elle, I don't know how to explain it to you," answered Filia while trying hard to keep her defenses from collapsing, even though she couldn't help but cry because of the mistake she had made with Keenan.
"Why, Filia? What happened to you? Are you in big trouble?"
Ellena showered Filia with several questions. of course because she was very curious about Filia's explanation. Even though she already knew the problem her best friend was facing, she didn't know exactly what had made Filia and Keenan trapped in this great sin.
Instead of answering, Filia burst into tears, bursting into Ellena's arms. No matter how hard he tried to endure it all, in fact the defense collapsed as well. Too weak for her, harboring all that had happened with Keenan. She would never be able to live in peace, for hiding it all from Ellena.
The biggest reason that pushed her to immediately meet her best friend, even though Keenan repeatedly held her back.
"Filia what are you doing?" asked Ellena while gently stroking Filia's back. However, Filia just didn't budge and kept on sobbing until it sounded a little tight.
Sick. Ellena felt the same way. However, in front of Filia she still insisted on not showing that. She knew that Filia was in a slump and what she had to do was strengthen her best friend, not add to the burden by giving Filia insults and insults.
Ellena was sure that whatever Filia and Keenan had done was a mistake they didn't realize, not because they wanted to hurt her on purpose.
"Filia, do you still think of me as a friend?" asked Ellena and only Filia nodded her head in response.
The woman was indeed unable to say anything else in front of Ellena. All fear and worry can only be overcome by crying. Even to be honest with Ellena, she felt scared.
"Tell me what happened to you!" Ellena asked without stopping the activity of gently rubbing Filia's back, just wanting to give her best friend peace.
Instead of responding, Filia began to sob even more and tightened her embrace, causing Ellena to feel a little suffocated. It was too difficult for her to reveal all that. However, she was not able to keep all the secrets to herself.
Not wanting to be too pushy, Ellena was silent. Let Filia vent first all her sorrow. Yes, that was all he could do at the moment. Hoping that Filia would come clean with her later.
'I know how you feel right now, Filia. If only you would tell the truth, I would definitely help to reduce your burden, even if just a little. I was waiting for a moment like this. You revealed everything to me and I gave her up for you." Ellena muttered while stroking the top of Filia's head.
Ellena's eyes started to tear up because she couldn't bear to see Filia crying like that. For a moment the tears fell. However, she quickly wiped it away, not wanting to get too carried away and make Filia feel suspicious.
"I don't know what made you like this, Filia, but I would be very disappointed if you didn't want to tell me." Ellena whispered in the middle of her activities.
"No matter how big the problem I'm facing, I always tell you and I hope you do too." She added which had no effect on Filia at all.
Filia stretched her arms, then wiped her tears slightly harshly. Even with Ellena who also did the same thing. Gently wipes Filia's tears.
Ellena immediately grabbed the glass from the table, handed it to Filia, hoping that her best friend would calm down a bit.
"Are you feeling calm?" asked Ellena after Filia drank the water. Just wanted to make sure and was only answered with a nod of her head by her best friend.
"Don't make me worry like this. Tell me what's your problem, I can still rely on you, Filia. We're friends, right?" said Ellena who again responded with a nod of her head.
"Elle, won't you be angry if I tell you about my problem?" Filia looked doubtfully at Ellena's face.
In her mind of course she was worried that Ellena would be very angry if she found out that fact.
"I won't, Filia. Why am I angry?" Ellena replied trying to convince Filia.
"Are you still going to be my best friend after knowing everything?" Filia asked again to make sure.
"What do you mean, Filia? Of course I will always be your friend," answered Filia, still trying not to make Filia anxious and scared.
"There's something I want to say, but I'm afraid you'll be angry, Elle." Filia whispered while putting on a pitiful expression.
"Tell me, Filia. There's no need to be afraid," replied Ellena while looking seriously at her best friend's face. Indicates that she is not messing with his words.
Filia lowered her head for a moment, then looked back at Ellena. "I-I'm getting married, Elle." Filia whispered.
Again the tears fell. Filia couldn't hold back all her sadness in front of Ellena. She felt so guilty right now and didn't know where to start telling all that to Ellena.
"I'm also happy that you have found the right choice, Filia. Whoever that man is, I will definitely pray for the happiness of both of you. You should be happy too, not crying like this, Filia," said Ellena at length.
"But I'm going to marry the wrong man, Elle. I shouldn't have married him, but we were forced to marry because of a mistake," explained Filia, sobbing. She didn't even dare to say the man in question in front of Ellena.
"What's wrong, Filia?" Ellena rolled her eyes while holding Filia's arm.
"The biggest mistake I've ever made, Elle. I don't know what else to do, but I feel really guilty."
"Please speak clearly, Filia. I don't understand what you mean," Ellena asked trying to balance Filia's attitude.
"Elle, I ... I'm sorry if this will hurt you, but I can't keep this all under wraps either. You have a right to know, even if this will hurt you. I'm sorry, Elle." Filia once again lowered her head, unable to look at her best friend.
Sorry. That was what appeared on Filia's face right now. However, what could he do other than admit his mistake and apologize to Ellena? Hope Ellena will not be angry and still accept her as a friend.
Ellena held both of Filia's cheeks, making the shabby face look up at her.
"Whatever your mistake and no matter how big it is, I will still forgive you, Elle. If indeed the mistake you have made has something to do with me." She whispered as she looked at Filia's face pityingly. Trying to convince the woman.
"I ... I will marry Kee-Keenan, Elle," said Filia, stammering a little and sobbing again when Ellena was still holding her cheek.
"W-what?" Ellena was wide-eyed. Finally, she heard directly from Filia's mouth about that fact.
"Filia, what do you mean?" asked Ellena still pretending.
Without further ado, Filia immediately recounted all the incidents that involved her and Keenan in a big mistake. In fact, he also told about Keenan's confusion at that time until it ended up at his house.
Hearing all of Filia's explanations, Ellena's eyes filled with tears. In fact, he still felt hurt when he heard all this from Filia, even though he had Lucas in his heart now. It hurts even more, when he finds out the cause of the incident is himself.
Yes, if only his last meeting with Keenan didn't end in a fight and disappointment, maybe Keenan wouldn't be flustered and vent his hurt by going to Filia. How could he be angry, if it was herself who was the cause of their wrongdoing?
"Fi-Filia, I'm sorry. Actually I'm the most guilty here. If only I didn't disappoint Keenan at that time, maybe you wouldn't be a target and a victim for Keenan's treatment. I'm sorry, Filia. I was wrong," Ellena explained. who was also already sobbing, as Filia had done.
"No, Elle. I should have been the one to control myself at that time, but in fact I couldn't do anything to avoid Keenan," replied Filia who also admitted her mistake.
"I'm sincere, Filia. I am willing to see you two happy. Keenan is a good man, you are the same, the best friend I ever had. I bless your relationship and hope that you both will be happy forever," said Ellena a little calmer.
"Are you serious, Elle?" Filia looked at Ellena probingly.
"Of course I'm serious, Filia," answered Ellena with a big smile on her face.
"But instead of Kee—"
"I've forgotten him for a long time, Filia. Besides, I already have Lucas," concluded Ellena.
"Really, Elle? Aren't you the least bit angry about all this?" Filia was still staring in amazement at Ellena's face, trying to confirm.
"That's right, Filia. You accept Keenan. I'm sure she can make you happy," explained Ellena.
"Thank you, Elle. I'm finally relieved and can say everything that bothers me every second. I'm so lucky to have a friend like you, Elle. I love you. I hope you're always happy with Lucas too," replied Filia while forcing a smile.
They hugged each other again expressing emotion and joy.. They were in that position for a while, until Ellena stretched her body first.
