I managed to act surprised without looking too suspicious about the revelation.

"You're part of a community of Off-Worlders?"

He smirked, "Got your attention didn't I? Don't You think being with people like us is better than rolling around in the mud with people like them?"

I tilted my head at him, "You really don't like the people of this World huh?"

"What is there to like about them? They're all just savages."

"I'm more surprised you lasted this long hating them."

He gave me a look, "I can say the same about you."

"Oh I don't hate them, I tolerate them. That's completely different."

I almost agreed to it without thinking when I wondered if he was once again doing this to test me?

I made a show of looking behind him as though I was expecting them to appear through the door.

He shook his head, "They're in another place within the Kingdom right now, not here."

I gave him a sceptical look, "What's the point of having a group if you're all going to just stay apart anyway?"

He grinned, "Because we are planning something big. Something really, really big. Are you interested in joining us?"

I narrowed my eyes at him, "If this is a goddamned MLM scheme I'm going to stab you with this sword right now."

He raised his hands while maintaining his smile, "Relax, relax. This isn't a MLM recruitment. We're really planning something big that will help all Off-Worlders get to the place that rightfully belongs to us."

"And what place is that?"

"As the ones who stand above these savages of course. We will be the ones to lead them to a better world since they obviously can't do it themselves! Just imagine! The entire world all united under us Off-Worlders as their leaders! Their shepherds!"

Ok, that's definitely something that the leader or whoever fed them to get them into joining this stupid venture and he's just regurgitating the words.

I leaned closer and acted interested, "So how do you intend to do that? You're not telling me you guys are going to ask everyone to vote you into power, are you?"

He scoffed, "Pfft, do you really believe that something like that would even work? This is why this place is just filled with savages! Even if we were to gather all the common folk and show those kings and queens that they wish for change, those pompous 'leaders' would just call out their army and crush all and any resistance! No, that would not work at all.

But don't worry, we have a plan to make them listen."

"Mmhmm… I'm listening?"

He looked around and finished his bear before tossing a few coins on the table and standing up, "If you want to know more, follow me. This is not the place to talk about this."

I was actually surprised it took him this long to even decide to leave the bar. The things we had been talking about earlier would have made any locals ask a lot of questions if they heard it.

I got up and followed behind him, giving Loster a wave as I left which she returned with one of her own.

Just from the frown on her face, I could tell she did not agree with the fact that I was following him but she kept her mouth shut.

Obviously, I wasn't that naive to think that nothing was amiss, especially since he seemed pretty eager to get me on board to join them despite only just meeting me.

I believe their group should still be maintaining their secrecy at the moment and if I were to refuse to join them, my knowledge of their existence would no doubt compromise their plans.

So unless this guy is an absolute idiot, he should not be so willing to ask me to join their group either.

Oh wait, he got scammed into joining this group in the first place so maybe he's actually an idiot?

Just in case, I ordered Eins and the others to immediately come out and defend me and subdue him if he tries anything.

On top of that, I've already marked a safe spot behind the bar as a location for me to teleport myself to with [Link Portal] if I needed it to run away.

And if that wasn't enough, I also instructed one of my Shadow Guards to immediately run away to find the others in case I could not run myself or got trapped.

Even with all that, I still felt a little underprepared but I suppose I'll just have to improvise, adapt and overcome.

"Where are we going?" I asked after we left the bar.

He pointed at an inn across the road, "Just up ahead, we can talk more freely there."

So he really was staying at an inn.

We entered the building in question and the male Mahun clerk at the counter perked up when he saw us enter but frowned when he saw the Off-Worlder in front of me.

His frown then changed into a look of confusion when he saw me following behind the Off-Worlder before shooting me a look that was pretty much asking me if I was alright.

My quarry didn't notice the clerk since he didn't even look in his direction at all so I just nodded at him to assure him I was alright.

Seriously dude, I know you're an asshole but you must be a pretty big one if everyone we've met so far literally hates you.

We headed for the stairs and went up to the second floor where I heard some odd sounds coming from around the corner.

I thought someone was in trouble but the Off-Worlder didn't even slow down so either he didn't hear the sounds or it wasn't a big deal.

When we reached the top, I realised what was making the sounds.

A male Mahun had a female Trasif pushed up against the wall and was in the midst of fucking her.

I would have thought this was rape if not for the Trasif's words.

The Off-Worlder scrunched up his face in disgust at the sight and walked past them, not even bothering to hide his contempt at them.

I gave him a fake smile, "Did you forget what you saw the moment you went inside the bar? This isn't something I have not seen before. And I've been in this World for several years already, this isn't my first day."

"Then you know how disgusting it is to be even in their presence. They just fuck like horny monkeys. Did you know there are some Off-Worlders who actually think this is a good thing for them? They've all become hedonists, I tell you."

We reached the third floor and he brought me to the room at the very end of the corridor, unlocking it with a key he took out from under his hat before ushering me in.

The room itself looked normal enough, just a single bed in the corner and a small study table opposite it.

I turned to face the Off-Worlder and found him locking the door before he smirked at me.

"Hey… I never actually got your name did I? I'm Jerry."

I contemplated giving him a fake name at first but figured that I would most likely either be killing him or capturing him anyway so it wouldn't matter.

"Aster," I answered back.

He nodded, "Aster huh… Well then, Aster… Have sex with me!"

The world then came to a stop around us.
