I giggled, "Yes, yes. Thank you, girls. But I would have to cut her some slack because it seems like someone had been spreading false information about me. They were saying how I was a terrible student and a burden to the teachers which was why she had that idea."

"Who would do something as stupid as that?" Odeta asked.

"What did this person say?" Delmare added after her.

I waved my hand casually, "It's no big deal. I don't think either of you even know who he is anyway."

"Please tell us, Aster," Delmare pleaded.

I wondered why they would be so interested but I decided there wasn't really a problem with telling them anyway.

"He's one of the first year students, specifically a student named Bracca. He was the one who spread those rumours about me apparently."

Odeta frowned, "Why would he do something like that?"

"Apparently… He has a crush on Lisa and saw me as an obstacle I guess?"

"Is he stupid?"

Oof… I didn't think Odeta would say it so bluntly like that…

I shrugged, "I would say that he's misguided instead."

Delmare gave me a serious look, "What do you intend to do about him, Aster?"

I tilted my head, "Err… Nothing? It's not like it really affects me anyway. The rumours would undoubtedly clear itself up later since Lisa already has plans to deal with him."

The moment they heard that Lisa had plans for him, they relaxed and nodded at each other.

"In that case, shall we go back home then, Aster?" Delmare asked, her face suddenly all smiles as compared to earlier.

"That's where I was planning to go before the both of you appeared," I admitted.

Hearing that, Delmare reached out her hands towards me and started waving them around.

I realised what she wanted and went over to Odeta so that I could take Delmare off her back and into my arms instead.

Odeta seemed to have already expected this since she even bent herself lower just to shorten the distance between Delmare and myself.

Delmare was quick to jump off the Amrap's back and into my outstretched arms, the Siren letting out a giggle as I caught her.

Then before I could even start walking, I found myself lifted up by Odeta, the Amrap gleefully cradling me in her arms while Delmare was in mine.

I gave her a kiss back and sighed, "This looks so weird you know?"

I realised that one of the onlookers was Haddock, the first year student who, for some reason, really didn't like me even after I showed him and his posse that I was not some weak idiot clinging on to Odeta' side.

Beside him were the same group of his posse but it looks like he was the only one who spotted me so far.

Odeta didn't even notice the boy walking up to us until he stopped in front of her.

The boy widened his eyes at the action but recovered and quickly overtook us to block the way again.

Odeta finally realised that the person blocking our way on purpose and stopped to look down at the shorter student.

"What are you doing?"

"Sis.. Senior Odeta! What is she making you do?!"

Odeta blinked at him and frowned, "Who are you?"

Oh damn, Odeta… Did you forget your own classmate? I'm pretty sure you've even met this guy in class yesterday, didn't you?

The boy's eyes widened and he immediately threw an accusatory glance at me.

"Did you feed sister Odeta a memory wipe potion?!" He accused.

I didn't even need to respond because Delmare spoke up in my stead, "Are you crazy?"

The boy finally noticed the Siren that I was carrying in my arms and he narrowed his eyes at her, "You… You're also one of those girls that were brainwashed…"

Delmare was obviously offended by his comment, "What did you just say?"

He pointed a finger at me, "She's brainwashing all of you with weird potions! I heard that she brews weird potions and feeds them to you!"

I would have face palmed but my hands were full with Delmare so I settled for rolling my eyes at him instead.

Odeta wasn't having any of that and she hefted both Delmare and me on one arm before she used her other hand to pick up the boy by his collar so that he was eye level with her.

"You… Don't come near any of us or even look at Sister Aster again. Or else I will break your arm, understand?"

She didn't even wait for him to reply before dropping him to the side where he fell on his haunches, a stupid look on his face.

Odeta huffed before she stormed off, not even giving a second glance back.
