Chapter 315: Everlasting Fairy’s Scheme Against The Four Ancient Immortals, A Strategy From Tens of Thousands of Years Ago!
Chapter 315: Everlasting Fairy’s Scheme Against The Four Ancient Immortals, A Strategy From Tens of Thousands of Years Ago!
Heaven’s Gate Peak had six buildings in total, namely:
– Daoist Non-Speaker’s cave dwelling, which had gathered dust and no one was willing to clean.
– Yun Zhi’s humble abode.
– Lu Yang’s cave dwelling.
– The kitchen used by Lu Yang and Yun Zhi for meals.
– The council hall.
– The Sect Master’s cave dwelling, now repurposed by Yun Zhi for handling various Dao Seeking Sect affairs.
“Eldest Senior Sister, where’s the fairy’s kitchen?” Lu Yang looked around but didn’t see anything resembling a kitchen behind Eldest Senior Sister.
“Don’t be impatient.”
Yun Zhi rummaged in her sleeve for a moment, producing a finely crafted model of a building, palm-sized, with a piece of jade that clearly bore the marks of artificial carving.“This is my kitchen!” Everlasting Fairy excitedly emerged from the spiritual space.
“This is the fairy’s kitchen? I thought the fairy’s kitchen was inside the Everlasting Celestial statue?” Lu Yang had assumed Eldest Senior Sister had moved the statue out.
This time, Everlasting Fairy explained before Eldest Senior Sister could. “How could my kitchen have originally been inside a statue? Clearly, someone used spatial powers to embed my kitchen into the statue.”
“Then Little Yun must have used spatial powers to move my kitchen out!”
Everlasting Fairy was clearly quite pleased with herself, calling Yun Zhi “Little Yun.”
Eldest Senior Sister didn’t mind the details and discussed with Everlasting Fairy, “Senior, only Lu Yang and I eat at Heaven’s Gate Peak, so there’s no need for two kitchens. I plan to dismantle the original kitchen and replace it with yours. How does that sound?”
Lu Yang: “!!!”
“Sounds great.” Everlasting Fairy agreed readily. A kitchen is meant to be used, and her kitchen was undoubtedly more advanced than the original one.
Eldest Senior Sister extended her left hand and cast a seal towards the original kitchen, which automatically shrank and was stored into her sleeve.
“Oh, this is the Universe in Sleeves Art!” There are many ways to shrink objects, and Everlasting Fairy hadn’t been sure which one was being used. Now, seeing the spell in action, she confirmed Eldest Senior Sister’s method.
The Universe in Sleeves Art is a grand space manipulation technique, different from a storage ring. It can store living beings as well as objects, essentially creating a small world within the sleeve, often considered a mark of a master.
After all, to use the Universe in Sleeves Art, you first need to wear a wide-sleeved garment.
Wearing wide-sleeved clothing is very disadvantageous in combat, so only those with absolute confidence in their abilities would wear such garments.
Like Yun Zhi.
Like Everlasting Fairy.
“I used to often employ this technique, storing snacks in my sleeve and pulling them out to eat whenever I had nothing to do.”
“You can even store a bed in your sleeve and sleep wherever you want. Once, I was passing by the sea and saw fishes and dragons swimming freely. I threw my bed onto the sea, lay down on it, and drifted with the waves, enjoying the sea breeze. It was incredibly comfortable!”
Everlasting Fairy had a nostalgic look on her face.
“This divine ability is also great for giving surprises.”
“Didn’t the Qilin Immortal and the others always feel embarrassed to eat my cooking and always skipped our meals? So, I packed the food into my sleeve and went to visit them. They thought I was just visiting, so they welcomed me. Once inside their caves, I suddenly brought out the food, giving them a surprise!”
Lu Yang imagined that scene briefly and found his imagination lacking, unable to picture just how desperate a sight that must have been.
“But this trick can’t be used too often.”
“Why?”
Everlasting Fairy wrinkled her nose. “It’s easy to end up smelling like food.”
Yun Zhi tossed the fairy’s kitchen into the air, and it grew larger with the wind, eventually becoming as big as Lu Yang’s cave dwelling.
This wasn’t even the kitchen’s largest state. The kitchen itself was compressed by spatial magic, making its internal space incredibly large. Last time, Lu Yang and the others had only taken a quick look around and hadn’t explored many areas.
Everlasting Fairy’s right hand moved swiftly, seemingly forming seals. As she did, she said, “I’m giving both of you the right to enter the kitchen. From now on, you can come in whenever you want. We’re all family, so don’t be shy.”
As soon as she finished speaking, Everlasting Fairy flicked a seal toward Lu Yang. It was a simple drawing of Everlasting Fairy with a silly grin.
Before Lu Yang could react, the seal merged into his body and disappeared. Lu Yang felt a connection with the fairy’s kitchen, sensing that he could enter it with just a thought.
Yun Zhi did not stop the seal, allowing it to enter her body as well.
“Speaking of which, I’ve given this seal to the Four Ancient Immortals as well, letting them enter my kitchen freely.”
“After my cave dwelling was built, I invited them over. No matter what I said, they insisted they were just visiting and didn’t need to eat.”
“I have a kind heart and felt bad for them. They traveled from far away, across several planets and light-years.”
“If they come all this way, shouldn’t they stay for a meal?”
“They insisted on not eating, so I compromised by giving them the kitchen seal, allowing them to enter my kitchen anytime.”
“They accepted it.”
“The Four Ancient Immortals were curious and wanted to try out the new seal. They used it to open the kitchen door and went inside.”
“And then?”
Everlasting Fairy smirked mischievously. “I only said the seal allowed them to enter the kitchen freely, not that it would let them leave freely.”
She let out a cold snort. “Once they were in, they couldn’t leave without having a meal!”
“You know my cooking skills. The food was so good they practically licked the plates clean. They ate their fill and then took a nap in the kitchen. Luckily, I had a bed in there; otherwise, they would have slept on the floor.”
“After waking up, they said their goodbyes and left my cave dwelling.”
Lu Yang shivered, imagining the scene.
Four young people venture to explore an abandoned castle under the cover of night. They slowly push open the castle doors, revealing nothing but darkness inside, even swallowing the moonlight.
Suddenly, the castle doors slam shut, human oil lamps light up, and the castle’s mistress, in a bright red dress, descends from the ceiling, laughing eerily, saying, “Since you’re here, you won’t be leaving.”
The four young people tremble, regretting their decision to explore the castle.
If this story were passed down to future generations, it might be known as: “Everlasting Fairy’s Eternal Strategy: Tricking the Four Ancient Immortals into submission, rendering them unconscious with her cunning, and winning a resounding victory.”
Such terrifying wisdom.
Lu Yang suddenly realized, “Wait, the seal you just gave us…”
Everlasting Fairy casually said, “Oh, after they had their meal, I gave them the seal that allowed them to come and go freely. The one I gave you two works the same way.”
