Gru’s decision was a clever one. On his order, the imperial army swept through places in the Capital City where Godsfall Cultists were reported to dwell. He had issued this same other to the guards in other fairy cities, successfully starting a full-blown eradication.

“If everything works according to plan, in a week, these pests should be no more. Of course, rooting out this tumor completely will require more time,” Gru said.

Baiyi thought about Gru’s revelation for a while before chuckling. “You do realize you’re coming off as quite the cruel person, right? I mean, many of these cultists are your allies, aren’t they? And, now that they are in a tight spot, you quickly abandon them and even kick them while you’re at it.”

“I am only for the welfare of my people and my Kingdom. Friends are irrelevant,” Gru replied sincerely.

The Godsfall cult’s days were numbered, and Hope, the man Gru was talking to, had enough power to annihilate the entire fairy species on a whim. It was painstakingly obvious why Gru was acting quite courteously to Baiyi.

“By the way, some people from the Church submitted applications to cross the border into our Kingdom. I made sure their applications were temporarily delayed,” Gru said. Baiyi was surprised. This fairy general had stopped the Church’s investigation team from entering the Fairy kingdom; it was an act of goodwill too obvious to be overlooked.

“Interesting,” Baiyi replied. “But, one last thing: where did your little Wise Mad King run off to? Tell me where he is and let me finish my business, and then I’ll leave your realm quietly.”

A look of earnest relief appeared on Gru’s face. His greatest desire, at the moment, was not just to make the human monster in front of him leave; it was to make sure he leaves the Fairy Kingdom in peace, saving the poor Fairy kingdom from another round of destruction.

Gru’s expression soon turned gloomy. “He’s still in his palace.”

“Wha-? You’re joking, right?” Baiyi could not contain his surprise. He thought the Wise Mad King was someone who would flee the scene if any situation gets too intense for him, whilst secretly planning a comeback. Thinking that the Wise Mad King had fled was why Baiyi had not rushed over to the castle after defeating Molocchus.

He had not expected the Fairy King to remain in his quarters, awaiting his fate!

“Facing failure head-on is a last-ditch effort for a disgraced Fairy King to preserve his dignity,” Gru replied in a serious tone of voice.

“Understood. Tell him to stay where he is. I’ll visit him as soon as I finish my work here,” Baiyi said.

After that, Gru led his men and retreated, leaving Baiyi alone to continue sorting through the garbage.

After a while, Baiyi was close to the area where the Engineer Walker reckoned the energy core to be. At this point, Baiyi became extra careful to avoid accidents.

Soon, he found a strange spherical object entangled by wooden structures within the dump. This was the only part of the monster’s body that had retained some wood after the Abyss Lord took over. This hinted at the unique property of this wrapped object.

Baiyi used his mana to carefully pull the sphere out from that spot. The sphere was not very big; it was barely larger than a basketball. It was a surprise that such a small orb had managed to power the enormous Molocchus. Baiyi rapped his knuckles on the wood encasing the sphere, and he heard a ‘Ding’ sound echo from it.

He placed the sphere on his palm and squeezed, and the wood began to crumble apart, revealing a clear, radiant crystal within. This crystal resembled the cheap knockoffs that shady jewelers back on earth passed off as real crystals. However, the texture of this crystal was different; not only was it soft to Baiyi’s touch, but it also felt warm.

When the layer of wood was completely removed, Baiyi realized he was holding a transparent glass orb with multiple refractory angles inside it. It partially resembled the decorative orbs used on crystal lamps back on Earth, albeit much larger and with a better texture. It emitted a radiant white glow, which was the Holy Power remaining in it.

“This... reminds me of those energy crystals, but... they are not exactly the same, either. I have never seen anything like this before,” the Alchemist Walker said in bewilderment. As a top expert in the field of alchemy, the Alchemist Walker’s knowledge of alchemical materials was superb, yet, this time, he was just as befuddled as Baiyi.

He was not the only one confused. None of the other Voidwalkers could appraise the item. It was definitely something that had never been seen before, hence its prospects for research was priceless!

Unfortunately, the Holy Power within it was little. All they could do to the remaining Holy Power was to analyze it — an exercise that would not bring any monumental benefits.

Suddenly, the Fairy Walker, who had long since been sent back to the Void, exclaimed, “Darling! You were so gallant back there! Aww... And, by the way, may I wear that kinky, skintight suit now?”

‘What the f**k are you talking about!?!’ Baiyi growled in his mind. When the monster first used the Law of Power to ban the use of powers, the Fairy Walker was booted back into the Void from the old militia armor. The only thing she could do after that was to watch the fight — and drool over Baiyi’s brilliant display.

‘Now that the is fight was over, is this all she can say?!’

At that moment, Lady Assassin Walker began poking Baiyi quietly with her consciousness and whispered, “Psst, doofus! Doofus! I wanna try that kinky suit out, too...”

Before he could respond, the Warrior Walker began poking him vigorously. When he turned his attention to her, she said nothing; she just huffed: “Hmph! Hmph! Hmph!”. This made Baiyi wonder if she had completely transformed into a Huffing Piggy.

‘What’s with you girls? Why want that suit so suddenly? Besides, we all know it has an actual name, you know. It’s called Divine Burial, remember? Stop calling it “kinky skintight suit”!’ Baiyi snarked quietly in his mind.

After musing a bit longer, he understood their intentions.

One of the properties of Divine Burial was its ability to change its appearance. As it had run out of Holy Power before Baiyi had obtained it, he had forgotten all about it.

‘These girls remembered the suit this suddenly because they want to use it to assume their original appearance, don’t they? But, are your appearances really that important? I mean, I already knew how radiant, adorable, and kingdom-toppling you all were. Should we really be wasting our new supply of Holy Power on this? I think you guys look good enough in that militia armor set’

The three did not let it go, though. They cornered the Fifth Walker whilst arguing amongst themselves, and this made Baiyi feel a migraine coming.

It was at this point that the Archmage gave Baiyi a piece of advice. “Holy Power actually doesn’t mean much to us, you see. If you’re talking about leaving it here for analysis, well, remember that we have analyzed Holy Power enough with the little that remained in the Divine Leather suit. Just let these girls have their way.”

It seemed reasonable. However, there was a problem: who would get to wear the suit?

He did not have to worry about that for too long because, minutes later, the Fairy Walker beamed up at him. She had defeated the two huffing piggies, the Warrior Walker and the Assassin Walker, in an area she excelled at: quarreling. “Darling, it is done~! They surrendered.”

‘You gotta stop picking on their naivety, you know. By the way, I’m not even sure if our Psuedo-Descent secret spell will work on an actual Divine Regalia like that leather suit.’ Baiyi thought helplessly.

He took the semi-transparent, skin-tight leather suit out from his storage pouch and placed the crystal orb on it. The leather suit reacted instantly, absorbing the Holy Power in the orb like a sponge dipped in water. Soon, the leather suit became more crystalline and emitted a white glow.

Using his mana, Baiyi began to draw the formation for the Pseudo-Descent secret spell on the leather suit, and when he was done, he activated it and transferred the Fairy Walker’s consciousness into the suit.

A few moments later, the leather suit rose up from the ground all on its own. Its movements were mechanical, as though it was still learning to move properly, probably because the spell had been cast too hastily.

Suddenly, the suit began to change.

The transparent fabric began to turn opaque, and soon, its color became skin-like — a fair, gentle skin tone known to beauties. Baiyi watched the leather suit begin to bend, forming curves. The collar of the suit expanded upward and began to form a head. Moments later, the transformation ended with a tuft of disheveled silver-white hair emerging from atop the head, and voila, the Fairy Walker stood before Baiyi.

She was just as beautiful as in the memory she had shared with Baiyi. Her beauty could not be described by the best wordsmiths. There were no flaws on her face or any part of her body. Anyone who looked at her would have nothing to complain about.

However, Baiyi had a complaint. ‘Where are your clothes?’

As soon as he noticed that she was naked, he disabled his shared vision, leaving the other Voidwalkers, who had begun to boo and protest, in darkness 1 . Baiyi did not want a certain color to hover above his head.

From his storage pouch, he quickly pulled out the black cloak made by his two daughters and placed it on the Fairy Walker’s body. “Why didn’t you produce a dress for yourself during the t—transformation...”

He faltered. His words got stuck in his throat because his attention had been completely taken by the Fairy Walker.

Although the Fairy Walker’s voluptuous body was obscured by the black cloak, parts of her snow-white skin was still visible through little gaps in the cloak, making her look even more suggestive. Her perfect calves, which had slipped out of the cloak, were really alluring, more than enough to make any man’s imagination run wild. When Baiyi remembered that she was wearing nothing underneath the cloak, his indomitable will was shaken quite a bit 2 .

‘This woman... is just so breathtaking.’ Suddenly, Baiyi found himself happy that he allowed the leather suit to absorb the remaining Holy Power in the crystal orb.

The Fairy Walker was quite obviously pleased with Baiyi’s reaction. She raised her face — which was so beautiful, there could only be only one of it in existence — and grinned playfully. “What do you think? I just want my darling to see who I truly am.”

She lowered her head and sniffed Baiyi’s cloak and exclaimed, “Ah! Why can’t I smell anything?”

“Because the spell was cast hastily and without any prior preparation, so, of course, some senses were not implemented. Besides, unlike the militia armor, we don’t have an empty spirit vessel in this suit, so technically, it’s miraculous that the Pseudo-Descent Spell even worked. Also, we have to remember to retrieve that armor; the empty spirit vessel in it is just too priceless to be cast awa—”

Baiyi was stopped midsentence by the ever-radiant Fairy Walker, who had risen to her dainty toes and planted a tender kiss on his mask.

“What are you even doing...” Baiyi sighed helplessly.

The Fairy Walker pressed the cloak closer to her lower region, to avoid baring her most precious place, while her free hand stroked her own lips. A veiled expression of sorrow appeared on her face — the type that was capable of conquering the heart of any man. “...Yet, I felt no sensation... How regrettable.”

“Alright, alright. We still have much to do; now’s not the time to worry about this. Quickly produce an outfit or whatever, right now, please. I had to shut down the shared vision, and now, the Void is filled with some very angry Voidwakers!” Baiyi hastily reminded her.

“Hee hee hee~! My dearest wanted it to be private, huh...” the Fairy Walker grinned slyly, and then, she suddenly spread her cloak wide open. Baiyi was flabbergasted, but he quickly turned his head away, only to hear soft chuckles behind him.

She had put on a modest white dress — something worn by most female fairies. However, this was the very same outfit she had always worn back then, which Baiyi had seen in her memories.

She did not produce shoes, though, opting to go barefoot. However, although she was barefoot, her snow-white feet were not dirtied; this was because her current form was created by the Divine Leather Suit. Her feet were sparkling clean, making her seem like a goddess that had just descended from heaven.

Suddenly, a strange thought crossed Baiyi’s mind. ‘If the gigantic Blood Tearstone is the first reward, and this crystalline orb is the second, then is the Fairy Walker the third reward...?’

He was about to say more when the heard cries from Mia and the other girls. He turned around and saw his students and the displaced fairies of Eom Village rushing towards him and the Fairy Walker.

Baiyi had not returned after the battle ended; this had gotten them worried. As Attie knew were Baiyi was, she led the students and the displaced fairies of Eom Village to Baiyi.

When the Fairy Walker saw the approaching crowd, she inched close to Baiyi and wrapped her arms around his elbow. With a smile on her face, she was ready to tell anyone who asked for her identity that she was Baiyi’s main Waifu.

When the students arrived at gigantic Blood Tearstone, where Baiyi was standing, Mia threw herself into Baiyi’s embrace, without a care for her surrounding, and nudged his lap with her head. She was just about to say something when her gaze met the Fairy Walker, who was standing by his side.

“S-so... Pretty...” Mia was stupefied. She was not sure how a woman this beautiful could exist.

Even Vidomina was stunned. “I can’t believe it. There’s a woman even more beautiful than Mom...”

Baiyi’s granddaughter, Nydore, studied the Fairy Walker carefully. When she noticed the silver-white hair on the Fairy’s head, which she also had, she murmured, “Grandma?”

The Fairy Walker said nothing. She had no need to; all she had to say was conveyed with a slight quiver of her ruby-like lips.
