Chapter 161 Incomplete Power Unity Physique (Red)
After dealing with the problems in the Transcendent World, Alister knew that there would still be some time before the Monster World and the Technology World started dominating the Transcendent World.
"The intention of the Monster World and the Technology World is likely to trigger the potential of the human race in this world through the threat of the human race being exterminated."
"After all, the humans who invaded either the otherworld were captured and transformed into cyborgs by the Technology World through some unknown means. As long as enough Transcendent Saints are nurtured in this war, the otherworld will undoubtedly end this war by transforming those Transcendent Saints into cyborgs or enslaving them."
Alister had already known some information about the otherworld due to not only hacking the Transcendent Association but also using the authority of the government.
He used both methods just in case and as he had expected, the Transcendent World barely knew anything about the otherworld.
Both those monsters and those cyborgs were collectively called as the forces from the Otherworld.
The otherworld was just a term used to refer to the world where those monsters and cyborgs came from. Even the Transcendent Association wasn't certain whether those monsters and cyborgs came from different worlds and not just one world.
Furthermore, Alister discovered that dimensional gates could not be sealed or closed if it was dealt with in the Transcendent World.
However, as long as someone was in the dimensional gap, the dimensional gates could be closed.
At least, Alister estimated that it would need the power of a Transcendent Overlord to forcefully close the dimensional gate if that Transcendent Overlord was in the Transcendent World.
But only the minimum combat power of a 1st-level transcendent was needed to close a dimensional gate if it was done in the dimensional gap. Of course, the premise of that depended on the rank of the dimensional gate.
As long as someone was in the dimensional gap, they could both close and open dimensional gates. A monster invasion occurred due to an army of monsters opening a dimensional gate from the dimensional gap to the Transcendent World.
Of course, a transcendent could also do the same if they went to the dimensional gap to open a dimensional gate that would lead to either the Monster World or the Technology World.
But the rank of a dimensional gate depended on the power of the monster or transcendent who opened that dimensional gate.
The dimensional gate that Alister had dealt with was a saint-rank dimensional gate and even if a transcendent entered the dimensional gap, a power of Transcendent Saint was needed to close that dimensional gate.
But if a 1st-level monster invaded and opened a dimensional gate, the rank of that dimensional gate would only be 1st-rank and it could be closed by a 1st-level transcendent as long as that 1st-level transcendent was in the dimensional gap.
Alister planned to reach the power of Transcendent Overlord first before he would test the waters of the Monster World and Technology World.
Because of that, it was highly needed for him to enter the third simulated world since the power limit in the Martial Arts Fantasy World limited his growth.
While Alister was thinking about his next plans as well as waiting for the duration of his simulation's cooldown, he finally heard a system notification sound after a day had passed.
-Ding!
[The Full-Dive Simulation is now ready.]
[Does the host want to perform a full-dive simulation for the world's ownership or move on to a new simulation world?]
[Yes] | [No]
After Alister had finished reading the text displayed on the system notification, Alister pressed the [Yes] button.
Afterward, Alister saw that the world around him had lost its color, an indication of the world's time being stopped.
A system screen appeared in front of him after the world's time was stopped.
[The host can choose three of these talents: Talent Placeholder (White), Eunuch (White), Unlucky Death Seeker (White), Drunkard (White), Incomplete Power Unity Physique (Red)]
[Talent Placeholder (White): This talent only exists to take up space.]
[Eunuch (White): Although you lost your manhood, you can now practice skills that strictly required the practitioner to be castrated.]
[Unlucky Death Seeker (White): You love to seek death since you think that only danger will hone your potential. But the more you seek death, the unluckier you get until you die.]
[Drunkard (White): You drink a lot of alcohol.]
[Incomplete Power Unity Physique (Red): Your body can withstand the conflicts of different power systems without the risk of self-destruction. However, you can only switch to one power system at a time if it's a power system that conflicts with each other.
Note: Examples of power systems that conflict with each other are the Transcendent World Power System which uses mana and the Martial Arts Fantasy World Power System which uses astral energy. Zombie World Power System and Martial Arts Fantasy World Power System do not conflict with each other.]
When Alister saw the four white-grade talents, he wanted to scold himself for being unlucky but he was left speechless after seeing the red-grade talent.
The Incomplete Power Unity Physique (Red) was what he badly needed.
He dared not awaken the power of the Transcendent World Power System since he was afraid of it conflicting with his existing power systems.
But now that the red-grade talent that he had drawn solved his problem albeit with the downside of using only one power system of a conflicting power system, Alister decided to choose it without hesitation.
However, when Alister saw those white-grade talents and knew that he couldn't choose them, he decided to ask the system for confirmation, 'System, can I choose only one talent instead of three?'
[Yes. If the host wants to, he can only choose one talent instead of three. This is to avoid the problem when all of the five talents have negative effects so if the host wanted to, even choosing no talents is allowed.]
When Alister received that reply from the system he sighed in relief.
"I choose the red-grade Incomplete Power Unity Physique talent."
