Chapter 984: Her Hero

“You lunatic!”

An’an tried to get up but she only felt even more weak as she struggled.

When Delia pressed a button, the monitor on Lu Yan’s side also lit up.

On the other hand. Lu Yan lifted his eyes to look at the monitor, he could see Delia laughing. “Blood Eagle, it’s been long! I’ve been trying to track you down for the past three years to settle our scores and avenge myself. I can’t believe that you’ve come on your own accord. It’s going to be your death day today!”

Lu Yan glanced at Delia impassively before his eyes averted to look at An’an. He couldn’t take his eyes off of An’an.

His face turned somber. “Are you alright?”

Though they were interacting with each other through the monitor, An’an could see herself in his brown pupils. She smiled and replied, “I’m fine.”

Lu Yan raised his brows, his eyes crinkling into a smile.

“That’s enough, Blood Eagle, stop flirting. I prepared these 30 samurais for you, let’s talk only after you’ve defeated them.”

Lu Yan glared at Delia. “Did you hit her?”

The red mark on An’an’s face was very obvious, he could tell with just one look.

“Yes, so what?” Delia was smug.

Lu Yan raised the corners of his lips into a wry smile, taking his cap off and casting it aside. He started rolling his sleeves nonchalantly. “Just wait, I’m coming to fix you after I’m done with these guys.”

After saying that, he moved just like lightning, charging towards the samurais.

Seeing him, An’an’s heart thumped wildly while she watched Lu Yan battle against the weaponed samurais. But Lu Yan moved so swiftly, grabbing a knife from one samurai as he used it to slice their neck. Blood splattered all over the mirrors in the chamber.

He moved around the chamber just like a leopard, killing them in a matter of minutes. His movements only served to terrify the remaining samurais who seemed to shy away from him.

An’an got even more excited inside. She thought inside of her head, every girl would have a hero in their heart, they would always admire heroes but for her, Lu Yan was her hero.

He was about to win.

He would definitely win.

Delia’s face slowly turned somber. Blood Eagle was indeed deserving of being a legend. With the rate things were going, the samurais would be defeated in no time at all.

“Blood Eagle.” Delia suddenly pulled An’an over into his arms. “I’m quite bored here, why don’t I have some fun with An’an.”

Lu Yan was distracted, he instantly lifted his eyes to look at the monitor.

“Ah Yan, be careful!” An’an quickly shouted to remind him.

A samurai had already waved his knife in Lu Yan’s direction. Lu Yan avoided it, the knife missing his vitals, but he suffered a slash on his back.

His black shirt was sliced open, his flesh and bones could be seen underneath.

“Ah Yan, close your eyes. Don’t think about anything, don’t look at anything, I’ll be waiting for you.”

Hearing An’an’s sweet voice, Lu Yan furrowed his brows as he lifted the knife, slashing the samurais with quick, fluid motion. All of them collapsed.

Blood was spilled all over the ground. Lu Yan supported himself with the knife as he knelt on the ground with his left knee.

With his muscular chest heaving up and down, his wet fringe covered his forehead, the perspiration running all over his muscles. He slowly lifted his eyes to look at the monitor, his eyes filled with a menacing aura.
