Chapter 89: Shen Yu

Some time later, the members of the Yin-Yang Pavilion arrived at the peak of Blazing Volcano, and Zhang Fei was only observing them from afar, or rather, he was only paying attention to Shen Yu, the Sea Serpent.

They looked at the male disciple with a frown, then Ning Xiang refuted him. "Why are you blaming us, Xie Gang? It's because you've been dual cultivating with Du Yuan for too long!"

"You-"

"Enough!" Shen Yu finally spoke up. "You guys stop blaming each other and quickly enter the crater!"

"Humph!" Ning Xiang and Xie Gang snorted at each other, then they jumped down into the crater with their respective dual cultivation partners.

Shen Yu shook her head, then she enveloped her body with her Qi, but just as she was about to jump down into the crater, she suddenly felt a strong pressure on her bloodline, and the pressure forced her to kneel down with one foot on the ground. "I don't know about your relationship with the Yin-Yang Pavilion, but I won't let you risk your life for them, because there is a beast much stronger than you in the crater."

"What!? Is that true?" Shen Yu exclaimed as she looked at Zhang Fei in disbelief, then she suspiciously asked. "If there really is a powerful beast in the crater, then why don't you stop them?"

"Because their lives are none of my business." Zhang Fei shrugged nonchalantly, then he looked at Shen Yu and confessed bluntly. "But you are different from them; I want you to be my partner, so I don't want to see you get hurt."

Shen Yu was stunned when she heard Zhang Fei's words, as she was unable to respond. She didn't even know him, and this was also their first meeting, but he immediately confessed to her like that.

He caressed her cheek with his hand; strangely, Shen Yu did not intend to push his hand away. He then seriously spoke. "Anyway, my name is Zhang Fei. I really want you to be my partner, and we will grow stronger together."

Shen Yu continued to be silent, and she looked at Zhang Fei with wide eyes, as she didn't know what to say to him.

*Boom!*

Suddenly, there was a loud explosion from inside the crater, then Zhang Fei grabbed Shen Yu and carried her away from the edge of the crater using his teleportation ability.

Shen Yu finally asked. "Actually, what kind of beast is in the crater, Zhang Fei?"

"Dragon Serpent Boitata is a divine beast, and its cultivation is in the 10 Star Heaven Realm." Zhang Fei replied as his eyes focused on the crater.

Shen Yu was stunned for a moment, then she exclaimed in shock. "Are you joking with me, Zhang Fe?"

Zhang Fei answered her by shaking his head. "I'm not joking with you; Boitata is truly a divine beast."

Inside the crater

Gu Zhan crawled backwards in fear, as his four fellow disciples were turned to ashes by Boitata's fire breath, and the Desolate Sect disciples also suffered the same fate as them.

"Damn it!" Zhang Lingxue cursed as she shielded the terrified Chang Wenjie and Cheng Wenhao behind her. "How can there be a Divine Beast in this place? Moreover, its cultivation is in the 10 Star Heaven Realm."

But suddenly they smelled urine, and they turned to Chen Wenhao, who wet his pants. Seeing that, Zhang Lingxue shook her head, and Chang Wenjie exclaimed in disdain. "You are so disgusting, brother!"

Chang Wenhao paid no heed to his little sister's words, as he continued to stare at the humongous snake in front of him with his body shaking violently. Moreover, the figure of the snake was truly terrifying; its body was filled with many eyes.

On the other side, the Hai twins' expressions were really ugly, and they also felt the horror of Boitata's presence. They then looked around looking for Zhang Fei, but they couldn't find him.
