Chapter 93: Return

Zhang Fei walked down the blazing volcano together with Zhang Lingxue and Chang Wenjie. As for the Hai twins, they decided to return to their sect using the returning jade.

"So where's your male disciple? Why isn't he with the two of you?" Zhang Fei casually asked.

The two women's expressions turned ugly as soon as Zhang Fei asked about Chang Wenhao; Chang Wenjie looked really angry hearing her brother's name, and Zhang Lingxue answered with a heavy sigh. "He ran away after pushing Wenjie and the two women towards the Divine Beast's fireballs, but I will definitely hunt him down and kill him with my own hands."

"Master-"

"Your master is right, Wenjie." Zhang Fei interrupted Chang Wenjie, who was about to speak. "A person who intends to sacrifice his family for his own safety doesn't deserve to live, if you let him live now, then one day he will definitely do even more dangerous things to you and the rest of your family."

Chang Wenjie fell silent, and she lowered her face sadly. She knew that Zhang Fei's words were true, but Chang Wenhao was her brother after all.

Zhang Lingxue turned to Chang Wenjie, she realized that her disciple was sad, but she would not change her decision about Chang Wenhao. Then she turned to Zhang Fei and asked. "Are you a member of my Zhang Clan? But I have never heard of your name before in my clan, and moreover, you are a demi-human."

Hearing that, Chang Wenjie also immediately looked at Zhang Fei curiously, and she was really curious about his beast race identity.

Zhang Fei turned to her, and he laughed softly before answering her question. "My surname is Zhang, but I am not from your Zhang Clan, Lingxue. Because I come from a different place, I can't explain it to you. And you are also wrong about one thing; I am not a demi-human, but I am an ordinary human with bloodline inheritance like you."

"How did you know that I obtained a bloodline inheritance?" Zhang Lingxue asked in shock; even Liu Hua didn't know about it because she got her bloodline after she fell into Pang Hong's hands.

"Three drops of Fire Phoenix Bloodline, right?" Zhang Lingxue was even more shocked to hear that, but Chang Wenjie had a different reaction, she seemed to be admiring Zhang Fei, then he continued. "You don't need to be shocked and panicked; everyone has their own secrets."

Zhang Lingxue continued to stare at him in shock, suspicion, and disbelief. But, in the end, she couldn't force him to say anything to her because their situation had changed and he was now stronger than her thanks to the Divine Beast's protection. 'Is there a Zhang Clan somewhere else? But I really never knew that.

What's more, this Zhang Fei is too mysterious; he can even subdue the Divine Beast so easily.'

Along the way, Zhang Lingxue kept thinking a lot about Zhang Fei; you could say this was the first time she felt something unusual towards the opposite sex. As the old saying goes, starting with curiosity, another seed can grow in a person's heart towards the opposite sex.

Zhang Fei smiled as he hugged them and spoke as he rubbed their backs. "Why are you both crying? I came back safely, and nothing happened to me."

"I was really worried about you, Fei, Big Brother." Zhang Lin and Chu Qing said this in unison as they wiped their tears.

"It's okay, I'm really fine." Zhang Fei softly said as he continued to hug them, and he felt really happy with their attitude.

The other women walked over to them, and Liu Hua asked curiously. "So who managed to get the Fire Yang Flower?"

"Your husband managed to get it, he managed to outwit all of us." It was Zhang Lingxue who replied with a bitter smile; actually, she was still annoyed at not being able to get the Fire Yang Flower, but there was nothing more she could do now. "Not only that, but he also managed to subdue the Divine Beast, and the snake is now his beast contract."

"Huh!?" Liu Hua and the Wen Twins were dumbfounded hearing that, and even the other women looked at Zhang Fei in disbelief and curiosity.

Zhang Fei softly laughed at their reaction, then said triumphantly. "I did manage to subdue the divine beast, but we will talk about it later, and we must return to the Chu Clan immediately, I really can't wait to swallow the Fire Yang Flower."

"En, fine then." Liu Hua nodded in agreement, and then he asked Zhang Lingxue. "What are your plans now? Are you going straight back to the Central Region?"

Zhang Lingxue shook her head. "I haven't been to the Western Region for a long time, so I will go with you to the Chu Clan first. Moreover, I still have to hunt down Wenhao, I am sure that he will not be able to return to the Central Region alone."

"Wenhao?" Liu Hua frowned at that.

Zhang Fei then took them out of Blazing Foothills Village, while Zhang Lingxue told them about Chang Wenhao's actions.

They were shocked to hear Chang Wenhao's actions, and Liu Hua reacted angrily. "You should have let me kill him sooner; a scumbag like him has no right to live."

"Sigh, forget it; I will hunt and kill him with my own hands later." Zhang Lingxue replied with a sigh, her eyes clearly showing that she was serious about it, and Chang Wenjie couldn't help but sigh in her heart.

When they arrived outside the village, Zhang Lingxue took out her flying artifact, and she invited them to go with her because her flying artifact was more superior to the Wen Twins' flying artifact.

Shortly after they left Blazing Foothills Village, two men were walking down Blazing Volcano, and their expressions looked so ugly. Then one of the men asked. "What are your plans now, Wenhao?"

"I don't know, Gu Zhan. If it wasn't for your artifact, then my master would have found and killed me by now." Chang Wenhao replied as he stared into the distance. "Perhaps I'm going to the Southern Region because my mother's family lives there."

"Alright then." Gu Zhan nodded. Although he saved Chang Wenhao when he was running away from Zhang Lingxue, he had no intention of helping him any further. "I will return to my sect right now."
