So after reading the 9 released chapter I'd say it's a bit too early to rate. The MC doesn't starts off with a steel mentality, but he also doesn't cry over every little thing and tries to get over his weakness.A quick summary atm:SpoilerIt starts off with the MC being trapped in the safe zone due to the surroundings being filled with sharp grass that causes him to regress. He tries to get around it by covering himself with clothes, but reaches a dead end when he's grouped on by goblins. Next, he tries to go in with a team but the result is the same, and he's forced to go through another route. After realizing his weakness, he tries to convince the righteous SSS-Rank swordsman girl to teach him how to use a sword, but she declined him as he was insincere. This causes him to go on a sequence of regressions to gather information and use it to learn from her, and he does that for approximately 3 months(in his time) until he gets demotivated from being called talentless. Now, at chapter 9, the MC is chilling in the safe zone while waiting things out. I'd say it has potential, as shown in the prologue he does eventually reach floor 44 as the 'Unrivaled Swordsman', but we're nowhere near that at this time
It's exam season and I'm currently a very, very studious hamster, so here's a flash-review of the first five chapters; Very by-the-books Korean style with detail more skimpy than an e-boy/girl/furry moonlighting as an OnlyFans star. Definitely not bad, though - the style seems to fit with the writer's intentions. The prologue is interesting but definitely gives quite a bit away if you're used to reading novels like this. The pacing is decent and the premise is interesting, and the author seems to know this isn't a thousand-chapter monstrosity of an idea and seems to be working with that, so the chapters are pretty palatable. MC has a decently distinct personality too, though no moreso than most other tower climbers called 'Kim'. Idea will totes carry this.I will say the MC is kinda weird about women - not sexist, not odd or flirty, just kinda weird, but it really depends on your view if it's something that might bother you or not, or if you'll even notice it. I noticed it but as I've only read five chapters, it doesn't bother me yet.Overall okay. Mildly amusing more than all that funny. Solid 6ish outta 10, give it a shot.

Highly recommended. The updating time may be slow, but it's a pleasant mix of the playful troll mentality of the main character of So I'm a Spider so What? with a base building idle rpg game. Honestly quite refreshing to read, and is very addicting. Basically mc dies, and is reborn in a small town as a dungeon. Dungeons are fairly commonish, them being sorta sentient "things" that can be aggressive (tries to kill delvers), be cooperative (like a fun dungeon that doesn't kill delvers, but is generally challenging and rewarding), and toybox (more like a holy land-esque place where the dungeon core creates an environment full of nice things that people can wander in and take stuff as long as they follow the rules). It's kinda weird to describe dungeons, they come in many forms. There is the MC which controls the house and can "place" things like a base building game. There's also one that controls a forest, and one that controls a graveyard. but overall I'm really liking it so far(ch69). The "monsters" of the dungeon (which is a manor) can communicate with the sentient MC, and in turn, the MC is on good terms with the town, so there is not really much "conflict".If you like fun and wholesome base building with interesting characters and different perspectives, you might like this novel. 4.6

Yes. But there is no such thing as "Tor Sites". There are Onion domain sites, but they didn't recommend you go to one. TOR blocks a lot of malware itself. It doesn't allow most of anything to run on it except HTML and CSS so using TOR itself is a great way to stop malware and visit a site securely. It's also anonymous which is why #POPCORN_DEMON# originally recommended it. I never said you should download random things. I agree that if you are on a sketchy website using a virtual machine and some anti-ransomware and anti-malware software running is best practice before downloading anything. But let's not go blaming TOR, a web browser, blindly. That's the kind of stuff that makes people resistant to taking steps to increase their privacy.

Overall a really good read with fun story and well developing characters.Just note that this is a dungeon core novel, by its genre it will have large info dumps, walls of text theory crafting, and little exploration. Don't come into this looking for something exceptionally serious but if you want fun, and can ignore some small issues, give it a shot. I've listened to the audiobook of this series as well, and I can say it kept me going for hours on end. Try viewing this from the angle of enjoying the MC's antics, his roleplay, all of it. It's a hell of a lot of fun that way. You can even make and think up gadgets that Zlo may make, and who knows, maybe you'll have the same crazy ideas as the MC!Characters are well written, and it largely glosses over the real life aspects of the world, giving us just enough information to see how Dylan supports his lifestyle or providing a quick and plausible way to show a timeskip. Most of the time is spent in VR/In-game which I appreciate. World building provides some decent background to how the world works, etc. Progression isn't overly slow but doesn't blaze past so you can keep up without getting bored.Let me know how you find it.

This novel is a good example of a vr novel, very realistic and even though it's only a vr it has real life effect not like other vr novel that money would flow like a hose, this novel would actually gave us a reasonable depiction on how vr games can affect real life

What I especially like about this novel is that the author can actually write dialogue. Normally when I read webnovels, the "Sixteen-thousand year old Grand Dragon of the Azure Plains" sounds and talks the same as Joe from accounting or the grandma down the street. In this novel however, you can actually see the differences in speech patterns and accents. There's characters with southern accents, another character has one from New York, the beggar on the street actually talks like a beggar and not like the CEO of a fortune 500. Characters have catchphrases, they have banter with each other; they have so much personality that you can hear the inflections in their voice as they talk.

Read the Mtl Spoiler best novel I've read from the world of entertainment, each chapter has you trapped in the plot and the complexity of the novel is at a higher level, the relationships with the other actor friends and how it impacts the life of the protagonist are super well written. the complexity of how they wrote it is incredible and you feel sympathy for him, a wonderful novel that you spend time reading it .

To be honest, my personal opinion is that Translation is a laborious task whose values are often overlooked.Reading it on mtl for the sake of knowing the story is... never fully worth it. Why?Because I've seen few —yet still some— works that were masterfully translated, thus, giving the novel moods and what-nots that the original chinese novels didn't have. (Ex: Lord of Mysteries, Night Fall, etc.)The opposite is true, too.There are way more novels that were trashed-bashed by poor translators doing poor translations.I don't even know how it works... but reading those make me feel like that what those mass-produced translations were done like: 1) copy-paste the original chinese novel on some online translation tools; 2) quick-read the results and fix here-and-there 3) the whole process took 5 min, and there you go, a chapter is done by the translator.Summary: truly sucks. Truly short-sighted. Why? Because their 5 minutes per chapter might have been worth THEIR time, but it wasn't worth the time of Readers X by the numbers of Readers X by the eternity that this work would stay on the web.Their works are basically Immortalized on the web, and people would only know that those works sucks, and it wouldn't be helpful to the Original authors in any way. Truly producing stuffs for the sake of producing it. The saddest part is: some truly great works would never get re-translated since it would've been judged as Done already.So, my verdict to your question is: it depends on what kind of readers you are. If you're like me, someone who love to fish unfishy Masterworks not created by the Larkinsons, then Yes, you should wait for better translations. This is my favorite shobiz genre novel where the mc gets big on Hollywood. There is no face slapping and there are a lot of nice romantic moments as well as sad moments. (RIP) I have read until 856 on the MTL version and my only problem with the MTL is that it's sometimes confusing to see what movie is what and what actor is who. I hope that others will enjoy how I have enjoyed this novel and how I have cried in some parts. It also shows the part of the industry that we don't really see. Also, this is not an mc with a system novel, what the mc was able to accomplish is because of his skill and his knowledge of the future. ENJOY

Why is the synopsis so long?
Reading comments you truly understand that people really don't like "CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT" tag, and are spoiled by omnipotent reincarnators/regressors who already had their character development arc. Some talked how slow paced story is, it's because of you i have to see hundreds of weak to strong novels in which MC becomes OP in 10 chapters. Just admit - you like face-slapping novels with faceless MC with no personal traits, where you can't see anyone with IQ higher than 12. For those who might want to read it: SpoilerThe story starts becoming faster closer to the 100th chapter, MC chose support class so he needs to build connections to raise his LVL cap, but even without LVL ups there is a lot of system stuff, revealing how system works and its limits. The story is more about creating a home and protecting it than power building. MC really is naive and soft in the beginning, but he becomes more mature as the story goes on. It is at least 4/5.

Not really, I've read a lot of things on royal road, this has the longest period of nothing significant happening out of any I read to latest chapter/end (over 80 books) by a factor of at LEAST 4 times.
3000 pages and 3 months happen (over on RR, page stats can be counted) Yes, by the 3rd month, he was already getting noticed by world powers. I don't like this story for a lot of reasons (BUT, compared to others, it is definitely above average), but I think that it's fair for people to say that it's slow. It's one of those stories where the time passed and the page count ratio isn't right. I mean you don't really expect the MC in a good story to have great character development (in web novels at least where the period of the story usually takes a long time) in just 3 months. The problem is that it took 3000 pages. So after 3000 pages, there's barely any progression.Besides those problems mentioned, the MC is also pretty arrogant. Keeps saying his build is great, no, it's not. And if you are native to that world, it makes sense for people to NOT "specify" their build. His "class" is great, but his build doesn't make much sense in the world that he lives in. In a party, yes, his build (and class) is great, BUT, he doesn't really play as a party member most times. He does AoE damage including to himself as well and if not for plot armor in the shape of a literal armor, he would've died multiple times already, but he has that convenient armor and made a convenient friend that happened to be a talented blacksmith.There's a lot to complain about this story. It's a story with a hit or miss MC and a page count that doesn't justify the passing time among many others.

I only read to chapter 63, but the MC is weak wimpy and stupid. He didn't seem like it at the start but now it's obvious. Also his progress in levels is cut off and he seems completely unconcerned about that even though his "god build" is still stuck in the weak and growing phase. I should've checked the tags for slice of life but I'm dumb and start novels based off the synopsis. Also SpoilerHe said that killing is always wrong, even in self defense. Automatic 2/5 star downgrade to MC for me. I want them to kill bandits and their enemies not negotiate with them

it takes time to read the synopsis, it take a lot more time to read this slow book, if you want thing to happen then you may enjoy the start where everything is fast paced, but you are likely to drop it because for 60ish very long chapters the mc is level capped and not working towards fixing that problem, the advertised math is there but it often lacks in importance, in later chapter he is basically looking at numbers of potential build that he may never take. Progress wise, a glacier is around the same as this novel.
Review as of chapter 115. The novel starts really good IMO, the MC really struggles in this new unknown, game-like world. From knowing the language to choosing what stats/skills to take. He starts out without knowing anything about the world and slowly learns more as the story progresses. The RPG elements are unique as well. BUT.After the MC hits his level cap for the first time (I won't spoil how that works or what level it is), the story starts getting boring IMO. From trying to find out what he will do next level to be optimized and how more powerful he will get with his unique build, it becomes a slice of life pretty much, and not the adventuring type. As of chap 115, he hasn't raised his cap and the story feels way different than the first few (around 50) chapters. The story also starts introducing technology at around that point, I won't go into details about what kind, but, to me personally it didn't feel like a good way to progress, so I dropped it. Feel free to give it a read though, maybe you won't find the story boring like I did or maybe you won't like the first part I am talking about as much as the second. All in all, I would give this a 2.5-3/5.

Mc transmigrates from 20XX to 19XX, and wakes up as a child of mugol family. It's an alternate world of HP where there is no Voldemort and Grindenwald didn't die and set his own school.Mc receives 2 letters of acceptance, one for Grindenwald's school and the other for Hogwarts. Of course, there is some unnecessary fighting between stundents giving the letters, as thier schools compete for being the best. From their discussion, it's clear, that Grindenwald's school teaching is better. It has more elites who can fight multiple opponents of Hogwart students. Our protagonist of course chooses Hogwart for his school. He explaines that the environment in G's school is not favorable for mudblood students. He also says something along the lines of 'I can take advantage of things in Hogwart, as I've seen the movies'. Despite stating, he doesn't remember much of them. Mc has a panel as a golden finger. It's features are not explained, but after a few chapters (like 40), you get what it can do.Basically you do some missions, randomly generated, but fully achivable in your environment, which give you points. You can opem a gacha with these point and get some talents/items. There is also proficiency bar, but I don't really see a difference, between the time he had lvl 0 spell and lvl 1 spell. If you want to know his good qualities, here are some: hard working, above average intelligence, calm(he is a transmigrator, so it's natural he is calm for his age). As there are good qualities, there must be bad ones too. So I would like to say, but everything he does, goes too smothly. He's got no talent for alchemy, so Hermiona helps him. Some crisis? No problem, I've got god like beast taming abilities, even dragons fall to their knees in my presence. The thing that hurts me the most is his untapped potential in dark magic. Like, he has it a level higher than his beast taming talent. I know, that in Hogwart they only learn those spells like in 3rd grade, but I still don't like it. Had he chosen Grindenwald's school, which specialises in dark magic, I would be very satisfied. His dark magic talent is probably saved for later power ups. He will probably be transferred as an exchange student and get to study at G's school. Still, I hate the author for giving him the talent for dark magic and not something other than that. Altough his transformation magic talent rivals his beast magic talent. But these are not attack type talents!!!Overall, story has some potential, but I don't like the writing.

Well, remembering that Africa is a continent and not a country, that is, it is impossible for you to even visit it completely to find out whether or not it has a mosquito net, although I don't really expect you to know anything about geography, I would at least expect you to understand a little biology, mosquitoes don't get AIDS, nor can they pass it on. Reason? The blood is digested and the virus does not contaminate the mosquito.

I have just one thing to say, this novel is a hidden gem, it's simply great, a real breath of fresh air after reading so many medium and low level novels. It's definitely worth reading, even though I've only read the 39 chapters available, I'm sure the quality won't go downhill. I'll explain why this novel is a hidden gem. Firstly, the translation is great and of good quality, so you don't have to worry about being corrupted by mtl,. Secondly, it breaks with clichés and uses them in a completely original and interesting way. Thirdly, great world-building and an engaging plot. Fourthly, charismatic and interesting characters. The synopsis might make you shy away because it sounds like the protagonist is some kind of edgelord, but quite the opposite, his actions have a motivation behind them and her acting is outstanding. The fights are great and engaging, the progression follows a perfect rhythm and, above all, the characters' interactions with each other and with the environment are wonderful. If I were to rate the potential of this novel, it would definitely be A+ (4.6/5 with the potential for 4.8). Of course, that's just the potential. When the novel accumulates a few hundred chapters, I will redo this assessment in a more complete and concise way.

Sorry, but I understand almost nothing about DnD. His personality is chaotic good, but he needs to stay in the personality created because of something that happens in the novel, then he would be more of a chaotic evil, as he would kill anything and everything that got in his way, of course, he would normally give it a few chances before doing that, but he doesn't hesitate, but as his personality is not so dark, he always tries not to reach that level and always look for an alternative path without breaking character, which makes things very interesting.

Ooooh Dungeon master tag reminds me of a recent manga I read which was Dungeon Odyssey
Decent novel I'd give it a 3 out of 5 overall. If the author hadn't decided that every single important notification from the dungeon is sent when the mc isn't paying attention to his phone and the notification gets deleted after 5 min, I would proly give it closer to a 4 out of 5 simply because the mc would be able to make smarter moves and the story would have a more meaningful start.

Ok, I actually read it some time ago and details of the story are muddled in my head, but I just saw it again and had little rant about it in my head. I stopped somewhere around 40ish chapters too, so be advised from continuing and standart !spoiler! alert.Promising start with interesting idea, if somewhat basic: ML transmigrated into minor villain of otome game and tries escape the character's fate by eliminating his link to the game's FL - engagement. Only, FL hell bent on the opposite to ML's confussion. No wonder, as the heroine turns out to be switched too - to her time traveled future self. And FL went back not once, but twice! Her first, original timeline followed the plot of the game, her second life after time travel saw appearance of ML in villain's body. The start of they relationship was unfortunate and violent, which prompted dissolusion of the engagement as per ML wishes, but after learning about this new person and developing friendship and then feelings, FL time travels again, now with the goal to make this engagement happen, with ML non the wiser about it. All of this happens in first few chapters, setting interesting conflict of interests with two characters with significant difference in knowledge and expectation, with promise of fun comedic situations between weird couple. Good!Aaaand then ML caves in few chapters in and just decides to go with the engagement... Ok? That was first conflict setup that author just threw away. Now ML doesn't want to escape the engagement and all shenanigans revolving around FL and just goes along with it. Fantastic. To be fair, he still thinks that fate (plot) will force them apart even if ne doesn't plays his villain role, but he also not active oposser to the events anymore and that majorly changes dynamics between main characters. Oh, by the way, comedy? Yeah, how about twenty chapters of diabities inducing sweetnes with background characters gushing about two lovebirds. Great.But fine, they cute and the author throws few mildly interesting flashbacks that gives us more info about characters plus some action. Don't know what to feel about wanting more chapters about what happened then than what's happening now, but oh well.Aside that the author setup the story inside an otome game which promises additional conflicts with original cast of male characters composing FL's 'harem'. And we get first glimps of it short (huh) 30 or so shapters in with introduction of first OG ML. Would ML cave in and rethink his involement with FL after incountering someone who might potentially be FL's fate (plot) choosen partner? Is he going to fight for new path and decide to screw the plot and stick with his decision despite possible problems with other male leads? Or will first OG ML mop and be sad, only to be befriended by ML and just decide to move on with no future conflict in sight?Yeah, it's the last one. Promps to first OG ML, that seems healthy, but I don't need healthy. I need a conflict that doesn't get kicked to the curb like trash that you too lazy to even carry to the trashbin!First two setups fot possible clashes that were established at the very beggining: conflict of interests between ML and FL and conflict between wayward ML and plot choosen OG MLs whimpered and died like my carier prospects, relativelly fast and quiet painfull. And I want to be fair to the author, I only read first 40 or so chapters, and there were much more OG MLs to come and as such potential for future drama plus some other disasters peeped from flasbacks. But I also read whole 40 or so chapters and got none or too much of what I expected from characters interactions; not whole lot of comedy, barelly any conflict and too much sugar as if I didn't have enough cavities.By what point should you wait untill you drop something? I read somewhere that you need to read 50 pages before deciding it's not for you, metric that hard to judge with format of this site, but I would say I read just enough to be bored and being bored is not for me. Give it a take, maybe it's becomes good after chapter 41, but even if that's the case I still would judge it as bad pacing and writing.
