Posted this on chapter 94, it’s not a bad read, but not good too. Just very basic and feels like air.Well the plot is so basic, it feels like I’m reading “Timmy went to the park to play, he went down the slide and fell on his face. He is hurt and feels very sad so he starts crying. The end”. The author clearly hasn’t given much thought for the plot, he just writes whatever he thinks of.

TheThe ratings are low because basically nobody likes this genre because what's the point of watching a development in a fantasy world if in the end the MC will return to earth and leave everything behind him because he thinks that everything he did is some kind of game, I even read a similar novel a long time ago or the MC with the same plot in the end after killing All the protagonists and made his harem and had children to leave everything behind despite him realizing towards the end, that wasn't a game but because "He misses the red flag that taught him integrity, dignity and honor" and these as history ended a pity I forgot the name of this BS but very difficult to forget such a stupid nationalist end.

Well...it's just an average read..if you have lot of patience you can read this...Story starts off rather ambiguously......like what the author planned here was transmigration into game..and introduced some stuff..but he wanted this to be different from generic transmigration and I think he messed up badly there...even without proper establishment about the game or about the real character or about the character who mc is about to possess....he just left few hints and that's all.... ..and there is almost zero world building from the start and mc randomly does whatever he want ...and it took me sometime to realise that he was in the game in the 1st chap...and all the times when author tried to show us some mysterious elements....revealing them would be spoilers...but rather than mysterious.. It's good light story with downsides.1) Cyberpunk very little part of it. It's have cyberpunk skin but not cyberpunk flesh.2) Story flow are smooth but only 1 event per chapter. Other novels describe dinner as one chapter, this one gives you one chapter of recipe choose, one of cooking and one of eating. Not a problem to binge read but feels like problem when awaiting new chapters.3) System are cool and unique a little but mc just doesn't use its near omnipotence. System here an alien shop with super ai companion. System user get points by killing aliens and spend points to buy some hight tech alien stuff. Mc here never explore this shop and never spend more than 10 minutes to choose smth. She just ask her ai new grenades with effects like black hole, big booms or smth else. Once a volume she ask new armour and gun.4) Mc just reject any plans or common sense till she will be near death. She hoard points to get deal with unexpected situations but every situation for her is unexpected because she havent real specialisation. She buy armour only after couple of new holes in her body. She start train aim only being forced. She even delay upgrading main implant (that control other and using as smartphone) and getting new arm in first chapters.All above make everything extremely slow and forcibly restrained. 300 chaps here feels like 50. But i can't say it's bad. I got entertainment enough from this novel.

Okay, it's a fresh take on a post apocalyptic world. Cat the MC, via virtue of being not a asshole was chosen to help fight off alien/monster invasions.It's not exactly a unique story...The MC is a orphan to be Hero! Except in this case she's, also a cripple missing a arm, and she gets f#cking malware from a museum in her cybernetic implantat eye like five minutes in.Story's pretty good, nice character interaction, no real Grammer issue either. This story the bad things get progressively worse, rather than all of a sudden the MC has randomly antagonized the final bad guy before chapter 10 which is becoming common.
As a side note its set in 2057, if you want to compare dates with the anecdotes every chapter.

I really liked this novel at the time of reading it on another site, because it seemed everyone and their mother had to do a dark, revenge seeking, anti hero protagonist.Then comes the happy go lucky Broccoli Bunch, with her somewhat hippie vibes, and cheerful personality was a breath of fresh air. She has good character interaction and the story flowed pretty well.

I’ll be honest first ~50 or so chapters are barely passable 3.5 star (70%) work. It’s awkward, has pacing issues, and quality is all over the place. Some early chapters make me want to throw a 1 or 2 star at them. Yet it does get better.Past ch50 and after the author’s rant it gets that little spark of magic and past ch100 it starts to open its wings and a does more of it’s own thing in interesting ways while the chapters get more substance. Almost all the awkward shit is worked out, the author gets their shit together, and the world building starts getting good. I’d definitely bump the quality up to 4 stars or even a bit more where I’m at at ch 200(I have caught up to 396, quality is still slowly rising). Past that we get introduced to a lot of new original content with some themes we will all find familiar but rarely applied to the HP world.It’s no legendary novel, but after MC gets to hogwarts and settles in it becomes evident why the novel is still alive and getting to ch400 soon, if it stayed as bad as it started or got worse it would have died long ago. If you get past the author’s noob starting phase it is a decent novel to pass the time.
I’m 130 chapters in and the mc has used his system twice. He has a system shop which he can use to buy pretty much anything he’d ever need not even exclusive to the HP world but he’s only used it once and it was to gamble. If u ignore that one glaring issue this is a pretty solid fanfic. I just wish the author at least put a limit on how much he can use the system as an excuse in the beginning instead of having him just not use it.

I would say so, I quite liked it. It's essentially the MC is placed into an Orphanage in the HP world with a "gacha" system that after used the first time, he got Celebrimbors memories on how to make powerful magical rings. He also has essentially the spirit of Celebrimbor guiding him inside his mindscape. It's pretty "slow" paced though with it being I believe second year still, but it is made up with there being I think 2 chapters a day. He also get's more methods on making items. The system eventually gave him another way to create items besides Celebrimbors style later on but it hasn't been too explored as far as I know.

solid 4 would be 5 if not for some small system problems and some parts of character building but in general a well written story with well developed characters. it gives you a new look for cyberpunk in its own pace. i love the mc she is great , smart , fun (sometimes awkward) but you can really get this character and put it in nightcity without any problem. she is fit for her role the love interest are building up in many directions but its not the only focus the trauma of her part is nice how she feels lonely sometimes to how fun and live she is. (also in brackets i love sexy motoko for those who get it xd) in summary at chapter 100 you have an mc with a mild to good reputation in night city she is still developing but she is already a badass im really glad for this story to have developed this much and i had the chance to read it thx seras-san ^^
my one gripe with it is the system and that's it i love everything thing else it has flaws but it's a lot fun read

There's a lot to like about the novel. I personally enjoyed the exploration of cyber psychosis, and netrunning. Generally the fic revels in exploring and enjoying Night City without all the drama and issues that other fics run into with V/Silverhand as MCs, This leads to a sort of mash up between murderhobo-ing and slice of life fluff, which is honestly right up my ally as a fan of power/progression fantasy and slice of life novels.The novel isn't the most serious of things, and you might find the regular references and occasional meme a little eye rolly. A fair bit of music is referenced as well that led me to youtube to find.All in all I found the work pretty thematic, and good for casual enjoyment. Its no Shawshank Redemption, but compared to the majority of chaff novels around, it stands out in a positive way. Overall I really liked it 4.5/5
Also since I liked this novel I tried to find other stuff similar to it, but everything I found was generally worse.Still if you want some other option's Stray Cat Strut by Ravensdagger is very similar in terms of cyberpunk+ progression fantasy+ slice of life + Female MC. Personally I found it a little too hard focused on the "action" which got a little samey with constantly killing aliens or w/e. But ymmv.Otherwise Seras' previous novel: Pokemon Trainer Vicky is pretty solid too , if obviously much different settings wise, but otherwise "feels" very similar. It was abandoned when Seras started writing this novel, but whats there is worthwhile.
1 Star ratings are from XXL burrito fans.This is a pretty good Cyberpunk 2077 fanfic with a system, decent character work, and pretty coherent lore. The start is really strong after a few chapters, cools off a bit as MC gets stronger and the latest arc has been starting wars in the comment section. The comment section on RR also has a lot of author interaction if you ever want official answers to stuff. Definitely binge worthy with a mix of harsh cyberpunk world and cozy slice of life stat grinding.

as of chapter 82, started of as a good litrpg beginning, maybe a bit cliche starting of inside a dungeon but it was well written. mc takes the path of a beserker/puligist type fighter which in my opinion is boring but there are worse jobs i guess.now the bad part/pet peevesmc is puligist which makes the fights just a matter of: i punch harder and dodge attacks and sometimes i just tank hits while i punch. extremely boring after 5 fights or so, i had hopes that maybe with his dream of being a mage there would be some elemental punches and reactions to spice things up but no.MC is supposed to be smart (phd) yet acts like someone with a negative IQ eg. stupid choices while fighting then after the dao root of the fist that suddenly influences his choices and feelings and even when it has been shown to him that he needs to control those impulses it's more like "I need to control this .... anyway" this happens at least 2 times so far.then in the tournament arc he gets a good teacher (d rank) while he is still f rank and instead of listening to him he does the dumbest shite ever and insults one of the main antagonists so far and pretty much dooms his faction. then instead of doing anything to fix it he goes and whines to his teacher who basically goes "tough shit but that's your problem" which is extremely understandable since he is not even from the same galaxy but somehow that destroys the growing relationship they had according to MC.anyway now that i have ranted a bit this is my opinion: okay litrpg with dumb mc who doesn't seem to learn from mistakes.tldr: it's okay

While fists might not be the most entertaining, you are actually insane if you think MORE SWORDS is the answer. So many sword novels, and IMO they have just gotten so boring I don't usually even bother with them unless they are WAY higher quality novels.

He's supposed to be this capable and intelligent CEO but acts like a wimp around the women in his life.And I don't mean that he's not acting like an overbearing chauvinistic ass. I mean he just wilts in front of the females in his life and pampers them.But he also has moments when he chews out his daughters? I don't know. It's not consistent. I'll see how it goes.

Sometimes within the same paragraph-long phrase.It's not as bad as kidian/webnovel garbage filler novels but it's pretty consistent nonetheless.Story is alright but the repetition is getting pretty annoying. And yes, the trope of girls and shopping is living well in here despite her ostensibly hating such things. And she said the equivalent of "f#ck the poor" lol. Such a shallow character. I'm just in it for the action and system at this point.

Honestly, it's not much different from most novels without the [Comedy] tag. It just doesn't take itself as seriously as those whose themes aren't suitable for comedy or focus on MC's who are too proud, dignified or serious to laugh at anything but the enemies they grind beneath their boots.Instead, this novel is better described by the action, adventure, and slice of life tags.

Very immersive.Although the colloquial terms might be confusing at first, they very much add flesh to the dystopian hellscape the story inhabits.Speaking of flesh, this is a very gory story and with a lot of descriptive killing. Def not for the faint of heart.My advice to the less experienced readers struggling with the words: just accept that you don't know what it means and ride it out. Context will define them for you as you continue reading.Also, the first few chapters are tougher to get through and understand than all the rest. Don't worry about that. Just push through till he wakes up clueless and everything will start making sense. The story is very much worth it.As far as writing proficiency and uniqueness on this site, this novel is in a class far above like 95% of everything else.

There is exploration of the internal landscape, but its minimal. The strength of the story is in its exploration of the world and the social interactions between dragons and other species.Good points: Its refreshing. The author creates an entire world around the story's protagonist. The story doesn't sugarcoat the Dragon Supremacy culture. The ultra rigid society reminds this reader of Sparta: only the strongest and most fit survive. Everyone else is a rival, a source of food, or a pest. Dragons are not human. They don't have human morals. The reader will find brutality but discovery as well. The protagonist might, eventually, have moments of insanity some will confuse with mercy.Bad Points: The prose and style. I kid you not. The prose is something written with no care to style. It is beyond amateur and more than a little lazy. As/while conjunction abuse, rigid structure, telling vs showing, gerunds, bloating (excessive wordiness for simple concepts), lack of significant description, Point of View bouncing, tense slips, passive voice vs active voice, basic orthography, punctuation, etc. In fact, this work doesn't miss a single bump. It holds on to literary problems like an alcoholic to Jack Daniels.1. As/While abuse. As/while subordinate conjunctions are abused in order to speed the narrative along without care for how many times they are repeated. There are other words out there.2. Rigid structure. The style has a general repetitive sentence structure. 'Subordinate conjunction, Independent clause.'Example: "As I thought about what to do, I started yawning." as opposed to "I yawned and considered my options."Feel the weight of the sentence in your head. It isn't pleasant. This particular style controls most of the narrative. It repetition becomes a problem and might put-off many a reader. If something is important enough to be included in a story (subordinate conjunction), it could be separated into its own independent clause (independent clause).3. Gerunds. I won't teach basic creative writing here. Do a search in Google for "Gerunds in prose." Let's just say that the general rule (and all rules are meant to be broken when one knows what they are doing) is to NOT use them. Gerunds, combined with as/while repetition AND subordinate conjunctions are a pain to read.4. PoV problems. Point of Views are tricky. Most fiction is written in 3rd Person Limited PoV or 1st Person PoV. I've seen, rarely, a well conducted 3rd Person Omniscient PoV that slips through with almost no issues.Example: 1st person: I breathed fire. My right claw rended through eldritch flesh.Example: 3rd Person Limited: Terrac breathed fire. His right claw cleaved through eldritch flesh.Example: 3rd Person Omniscient (Multiple views) : Terrac breathed fire (1). The eldritch horror was terrified (2 and Telling). Sparky the dog wanted to pee (3), but he barked at both the dragon and the eldritch horror with brave stupidity. Unknown to all three of them (Sub conjunction), the loss of any of them would disrupt reality. (Ind. Clause). (God/Author PoV)An author must try to limit 3rd Person Omniscient to subtle shifts, otherwise it feels clumsy and harms a story's pacing.5. Telling vs showing. Yes the story has this problem in spades. Telling is direct and (if not given enough thought) lazy. Showing is INDIRECT. It is also, in most cases, wordier but builds better, flows better.Example Telling: Adeline was cold.Example showing: Adeline shivered.Example showing with details: Adeline shivered despite the heavy winter coat.6. Began to. Started to. Seems to. Appears to. I might despise As/while subordinate conjunction abuse but "began/started to/seems to" bloating and ambiguity is up there. These phrases are used by authors to organize their thoughts. They are unnecessary preambles to other clauses in a sentence. Remove them from the prose except in specific contexts.Example: Terrac began to consider the possibilities of murder as Arnold rambled on, convinced of his own importance.Example WITHOUT the bullcrap: Arnold rambled on, convinced of his own importance. Terrac pondered abject murder.Notice that I used 3rd Person omniscient, but it feels like 3rd Person limited. Terrac observing Arnold. That's subtle manipulation of prose and style. Notice that I removed the as/while conjunction. Notice that the "Began to" preamble is gone. Notice that I am TELLING instead of Showing, but the prose isn't harmed by the choice because one sentence has long phonetic prosody and the other is short and to the point. More importantly, the details provide an understanding of the characters and aren't boring. One is a snotty jackarse. The other might be a snarky SoB or, in truth, a cold blooded murderer. I don't have the patience to detail examples of all the other problems in this work. This isn't a creative writing class. Let's leave this at the point that I am EXTREMELY displeased with the rough prose because the story has great potential. This work can be much, much better.2.5 / 5 stars. Fifty percent. Not high enough to be average, not low enough for complete anonimity.

mcs only a few years old and thats coming from a long lived race, thoughts turn in a dime; perpective constantly rearranging. Some may call it growth but i think its better apt to say mcs perspective has yet to settle.his previous life memory only serves to confuse him, as its made clear he rather abandones them naturally and fully embrace exploration of his current life and priveleges.eg. near the beginning he was taught through circumstance, body language, and attitude that dragons are the best and above everything else by his father and grandfatgers influence. When he meets his grandmother he realize this thought isnt the same for all dragons so his limiter was released and ask himself what he truely thinks. He proceeded in exploring and dropped the heavy emphasis perspective on any particular race and begins to evaluate them himself in a clean slate.

The MC is just a human in a Dragon form. At first he was like 'dragons are supreme and above all', but suddenly, after just a few line of dialogue with his grandma, he does a complete 180. He showed no signs of regret or guilt (after wiping out a whole kingdom), or at least not enough to justify the sudden flip in opinion. I guess this is as generic as it gets. 7.5/10
Finally a good/great dragon novel where mc isnt instantly turned into human form power but has a permament dragon from ch 1 to ch 187 with a decent level storyline but it doesnt update

Yes, just yes.This is such a breath of fresh air. I've read some of the Pokemon stories here to try something different from the usual regressing/transmigrating/reincarnating/cultivation/fantasy novels that have filled my story library. But when they try to make them realistic they often miss the mark significantly and ruin it.But this... This is a well thought love song to the Pokemon world. It blends reality seamlessly into the original charm so that it feels like it comes to life. It's got enough of the gritty side to be just realistic enough to pull off the warm environment evoked by the setting.There is romance, at first it seems like it might be a harem but no, his significant other is not going to be permitting that in just the perfect hint of Yandere fashion appropriate to her character.The MC isn't perfect, but in spite of that he is well enough written that it just feels appropriate without becoming annoying and you can really taste how the transmigrator blended into Brock's original personality.Do yourself a favor, give it a read, it's worth the time spent at least to the current posted chapter 159.

It's really good. Though for me personally, I didnt like it that MC was brock because it messes up lots of things for the anime plot, A rock type specialist isnt my cup of tea either. Story Development- there really isnt much I think. The novel starts when Brock has already established himself, even becoming stronger than champion Lance. Well, his family drama did make it more interesting. Characters- The characters are well thought of. It gives more substance. Even the new brock, just the new personality he has made it interesting. Though I wasnt that much excited because Im not very much interested on a rock type specialist, I still think its very awesome. I hope though that in this story, he doesnt go travelling with Ash. If possible, he travels alone and strengthen his pokemon more because theres so much potential in this story. Wished i could read more. I give it a 4.7/5

It's not slow nor fast but given that this was only published here 28 days ago the Story Development will be slow. Writing Quality: Only thing I can really say is too many words that I forget what's what. Besides that a solid 4/5 at the bare minimum.World Background: Its Pokémon. The rating is whatever you think it is.Character Design: Well...it's Pokémon cant say much about that. So same as above I guess? WHY, everyone of these stories coming out of the fanfiction genre has people taking over characters in the series. If you are a fan of these series as the authors portray themselves as CREATE A DAMN OC. They need to stop f#cking up all these series.
Actually, it's a very nice take on Brock's life, how he is to be a Gym Leader, sibling/father of 9 others, an engine for his town, a great trainer, and still find his own place in it all.This Brock is intelligent, not lustful, is realistically a great trainer and gym leader, and a caregiving father figure. So I think the character has been chosen well for this story, nowhere else in Pokemon do you have a character so good to write about, so rich in backstory. The anime just failed him. Here is his rightful story.
Yeah sure but this is interesting is it not? We're not reading MC as Ash any other characters. We're reading MC as Brock a popular and cool character from the Pokémon Franchise. It's interesting to see how everything will play out as MC has knowledgeable of the Games( Strategies and what not), Animes, and the Comics. This also takes place a year or 2 before canon meaning we're in the middle of MC's life which is new
I find the story very enjoyable because it is written well and has an interesting concept of him being a gym leader. The chapters are long and thought out with characters being built up and emotions seeming logical.Thing some people may not like are he has already developed a bit and it takes place after he has already caught a lot of pokemon. He is not really op and their also doesn’t seem to be any R-18 if that is your thing.For a pokemon fanfic its a good one but im not to far yet so it may get worse
I pretty much agree with what this guy said.You can nitpick some stuff about it. For example, there's some power fantasy around the edges, and there's some uneven pacing at parts, but overall its a fun read.I rate it 5 outta 5.

MC literally earned a hit from the truck-kun by being nice to Bob, oh, you don't Bob, you will find out real soon.Both the style and grammar is solid. Side characters are great with solid personalities, distinct motives and world building is still in its infancy, so I can't say much there.Actus is a RR author, whose best works are Monster Chef, Steamforged Sorcery and My Best friend is an Eldritch Horror, all of which are currently available on Amazon and Kindle, so as a experienced writer you can rest assured that the book won't be put on hiatus midway.Anyway, this a good read in my opinion 4.3/5So give it a try.
