Bro, the novel is very good, certainly the best when we talk about horror, the only thing that surprised me was that most of the mysteries were clarified at the end of the first book (I wasn't expecting it), well, at least the mysteries we know can appear more as it continues the story. I was upset by the fact that the chapters were disorganized, imagine my surprise when I heard that there were not 299 chapters released as it was written hahaahah, book 1 and 2 is repeated.
The mystery, the struggles, and the roles people play as they try to survive the Horrors. I love it.My greatest pain is that this is too condensed and fast paced, losing out on a lot of depth as well as needed and wanted character development and bonding. It is incredibly tense and interesting as we follow through the scenarios they are put in and I want more of it, but at a more gradual pace that let's us experience Carousel and what it has to offer without feeling rushed or pushed towards the greater mysteries involved..... I said a lot when I should have just said I want more of the lesser plot related Scenarios interspersed between key nodes in the Novel, whether it's for entertainment or developing the world and characters in it.
This is the best horror novels I’ve read. I love how everything is interconnected and the world building is amazing. 9/10 for me

Overall it’s really good, the pacing is the right amount for a Kingdom building story. The grammar is on the higher end compared to others of the genre; however the author’s prose is somewhat workmanlike and while it doesn’t take away from the story it doesn’t significantly improve it either. The action is also realistic, the plans hatched by the mc don't always go his way. Lucan also isn't an overly OP Mary Sue. Things are grounded and down to earth, which is something we don't see nearly enough of in this genre. Having someone who is both native to their world and not obviously "the chosen one" at the helm is a good change of pace.With proper development, to build on its solid foundations, and an earnest lead this novel has great potential that many will enjoy reading.

This definitely a underrated novel. The chapters take a while so it's quite slow but definitely enjoyable. It's basically a story of out Main character coming of age(unlocking his blessing and approaching adulthood) and his attempts to improve his noble families lands, which is where the kingdom building comes in, grow stronger, and deal with the various conflicts that come with his undertakings and position as a noble. I love the fact that the system status sheet kinda thing isn't used in the kingdom building and the main character is actually governing the land like giving orders and discussing with his father and their aides how to go about their plans. Not just that the power/skill system is really nice and theirs plenty of cool world building and history in the story as well as actual politics. The characters are also very nice and have depth. Not just that but the author includes plenty of combat and action in the story and writes fight scenes very well. I CAN NOT understate how impeccable the writing quality is of this novel is so honestly just read the damn thing already.

It's not Deadpool, it's just tin. For example, in a dialogue with his friend, the main character tells him: So I will write a book and this is the book that we are reading and then begins to explain the characters and so on. TBH I did love the concept and overall theme of the novel. But, it got old really fast when literally every character around him is a complete a*hole who just look out for their own benefits. SpoilerI mean seriously, his own grandma seemingly working with his nemesis? His dad who made him completely unable to use magic? His mom who doesn't seem to care? Or Heather who is just needy and pushes him around? Not to mention the fact that he pretty much gets trashed in every fight he gets in.

4/5The book is quite good. Instead of a plot, its more of a collection of small character arcs among the witches in the prison. It isn't very exciting, but the world building and characters are interesting. Overall its a pretty chill read, I can enjoy it before bed without too much excitement

Holy shit this is great. I’m not eloquent, but I’ll say that this story does a phenomenal job at immersing you in its story. Getting caught up in the planning and design and lore of the game development (especially knowing that it’s based on the reality of the story’s actual hell) as well as the excitement and emotions of the gamers. Brilliant translation, I only actively noticed 2 mistakes in 50 chapters, and the translator does an amazing job at captivating you with their vocabulary.The characters are… well, characters. MC is extremely driven, and while he keeps his emotions relatively on the down low, his almost maddening need to put his experiences out there and his commitment to making quality games in a way that runs counter to the modern game theory really makes him a character you can’t help but enjoy reading aboutThere are (as chapter 50) 5 other main characters, all a part of the development team. The art director, sound director, second programmer, and two art workers. The directors both get a lot of time in story to develop their personalities, challenges, and emotions. They are distinct individuals, which is a sense aided by their own PoVs. For the secondary workers, the two art workers haven’t had too much screen time yet, they aren’t really separate from each other - acting mostly as a “bubbly and overwhelmingly friendly” aid to establish/interact with more socially withdrawn and ‘lonely’ characters. The secondary programmer is the newest of these characters, and is unique enough for a reader to get a sense of a ‘self’ regarding him.One issue some people will have is PoV switching. There are a few POV switches, and they aren’t always delineated in a way that makes them immediately understandable as to who we are following. Some readers don’t like other PoVs at all, but this story relies on them to show the inner thoughts and motivations and character interactions within the group. It’s a tool that’s used well, and helps us connect to each character.Translation however, seems like it’ll be slow. The story is good. The plot doesnt have many if any wholes, the grammar is usually great. The only problem that i have is it doesnt really feel like spiderman himself. And it goes even further from that feeling in the Genie arc. Peter is calculative, smart and coldblooded to his enemies while warm to his close ones. The story is quite fast and it usually follows the plot of the movies. The only difference is spiderman is now forcing himself to involve himself somehow. I felt like in the beginning it was kind of forced but it was starting to feel more natural as time went by but that may have been my imagination. I kind of feel like they ruined certain characters like tony stark. He has quite a big role but a lot of snappy comments or his smart mouth personality feels like it went to Peter. But ultimately, i enjoyed it and will be coming back to read every once in a while

Having caught up to Chapter 293 I can say it's a pretty decent novel. The MCs doesn't act like the original Peter in that he doesn't mind killing those who have gone too far. It does a good job in keeping Peter as kind of a Sarcastic Jokester during his battles. There's honestly not much to praise since it kind of follows the Movies closely with a lot more additions like with the X-men being part of the universe and such. Though I will say it recently had an "arc" that was really great in terms of originality and just in world implications. Essentially the "arc" is Spoiler3 or so chapters in which in order to gain some OP wishes from a genie, our Peter has to go through some unknown trial that even the Genie has no clue about. Maybe it has something to do with his connection to the Web of Life and Destiny but the MC is sent on a mission to save Tobey Mcguires Uncle Ben while also teaching him the lesson he would have learned had he hunted down the killer. The next mission was one where he took control of Andrew Garfields body(he still had a backseat view and conversed with our Peter) and had to ensure Gwens safety while also defeating Electro and Green Goblin.There are, however, things that really annoy me with the story. First off, the MC just straight up goes to the Sactum Santorum and asks The Ancient One to teach him magic and she agrees(mainly because that wasn't supposed to happen in the futures she saw). He mainly did this to learn how to conceal his movements from SHIELD but this straight up makes it so that theres almost no danger in any of his fights. A second thing is the timeline. The Author decided to make it so that the first Iron Man movie is set in Peters Freshman Year at Highschool. Right now it's his Junior Year I believe(IDK cause at one point he just stops going since he's rich and smart enough that the Teachers don't bother). This makes it so that Peter has pretty much none of his own villains. Vulture probably sold all of the Alien scraps to the Avengers since Spidey said they would buy it all so theres almost no chance of him turning into a villain. Mysterio most likely won't appear since I highly doubt Tony will die with him being one of Peters best friends which also means most likely no Multiverse Shenanigans, but honestly that one might happen one way or another. MC might just jump dimensions since he might have the power with his Mystic Arts at some point. MC also hasn't revealed his Identity to any of the Avengers other than Tony and Fury(Fury accidently found out because his wife Grace knew Peter was Spiderman and said his name without thinking. BTW, this novels goes along with the theory that Fury is MJs father and Grace and May become close friends with Peter and MJs relationship so she found out Peter is Spiderman during the Attack on New York). Peter is close to being one of the most powerful people on the planet yet he still won't show who he is to protect his family. I get the idea but this guy can literally add a Passive Shield to their bodies that will activate and tell him their location whenever they are in danger so he can portal there. It's not like he's showing off to the World, just the Avengers Council would be fine.Other than those, theres not much else to complain about. This is still a pretty good fanfic for those looking for a Spidey novel.Edit: Oh also, there are R-18 scenes with MJ later on.

You know, defending allies or family members of your hero identity, it's not always something physical like a villain coming after you to kill or beat you, if he revealed himself, MJ's life, Grace or May wouldn't be the same, The people would be bothering them and they don't even want that fame, MJ may even want it, but she may want it as a superhero and not her teenage or citizen life.
I tried to read this the way through, but it's too mary-sue for my liking. There are no stakes at all in the story so far. Oh look I'm peter parker now, wow I have superpowers, oh I want to be a super genius, guess what I'm a genius now that can hack into government infrastructure with ease. Wait that's right I want to have magic, let's talk to the Ancient One and I'll easily learn magic.

Read 113 chapters and it is a good novel. Quality wise also good. It focuses a lot on psychology and it is well done in that regard but the whole goal of 'I won't earn money and I won't do anything on my own and live for others instead of me' theme sounds fine because his entire previous life he focused on his career instead of friends and family but now he went full 180 and it makes it sometimes frustrating to read because why would I earn some money if it destroyed my life previously.Another complained I had is that the novel is hard to follow sometimes because of the Korean names and the amount of characters. Some potential has been missed aswell because in the early chapters he wanted to use his future knowledge to start his own company but he never did use any future knowledge besides to help his friends out and not himself.3.5/5 excellent novel but hard to follow sometimes and no clear direction and no story progression hampers it a lot.

People coming from poverty strives to not go back to that situation. Sometimes it blurs what is important. But after his death MC is given a "unique" chance to live his life again. He knows that more money does not equal better life. So, in this regression, he instead focuses on improving the lives of others. Realistic, if I may say so.
I agree and that is why I said the premise is fine but it becomes an issue when he keeps helping characters that have no depth so far so who cares if the mc helps this random person out. At that point it is reading about an mc that tries to be an hero and there is a reason anti-hero mc's are getting more popular over the years because heroes feel superficial.It would be more interesting if we had a few chapters about his previous life and all his relationships that he screwed up because then when he actually helps them out it will feel meaningful compared to introducing random characters and say oh he was a nice guy and I cut of our relationship because my focus was on my career so lets help him and x chapters later the same thing happens again. Do that 5x times and that is this novel so far.

Think of this as many novellas set in the same universe with many different characters all doing their own things. Somethings are believable, some are not. Humans using ak47s to fight wars in the 3000's...and it being combat effective...That's the only thing not really believable.

A good novel but without knowledge of Overlord you cannot really understand the point. Plus this novel isn´t for people who like fighting scenes as this is mostly a description of daily life. I love this novel exactly because of this and If you don´t mind the detailed descriptions of people, places and lives with long dialogue on important topics then this novel isn´t for you.TLDR: A good novel for in-depth readers without much fighting.
Unless you read Overlord LN, don't even bother reading. Novel is very detailed in its description to the point that it gets mundane and boring. Whole bunch of talking scenes and very little action scenes(fighting). There has to be a balance to intrigue the reader. If you like reading about people's daily life then it's probably for you. This fanfic novel(very bland) is different from the actual Overlord LN(very good), different author plus different approach. Would I recommend, no. Something to waste your time on, probably.
reading this seems tiring if it took the first half a paragraph to describe someone sighing. followed by excessive feathering of irrelevant adjectives and a little backward sentence structuring. Also its a lot ask of us to keep second guessing whoevers in the narrating perspective with opinions towards whomever else. cant you let us readers just relax instead decoding, editing and restructuring just to see if its worth all that effort. rantovr

If you like the Overlord novel try this one, it will amaze you.It focus on sidecharacters (natives) of the new world and starts right after Nazarick takes over E-Rantel. Several NPCs do show up and they are faithful to the origin material.Very well written and VERY detailed. The author definitely knows how to write and you can feel he researched a lot about the world of Overlord.If you like the novel go and support him on RoyalRoad too.

what's it about?
It's a classic transmigration into the Harry Potter world style novel, with an OP protag ... but for some reason it's miles above the rest, probably because the canon events don't change as much and it's like reading my favourite novel in a whole new way.
lots of terms are thrown at you & you are left wondering what they are and what is happening. So unless you are familiar with another JP light novel Overlord by Kugane Maruyama, you will find this difficult. Hence a 3/5 for me.
Or its anime. If I remember correctly overlord currently has 15 volumes and this novel approximately starts at 10th volume. So you can either read from start or you can watch the 3 seasons of overlord which is faster but it skips some things as anime usually does. If you dont then probably it wont be as impactful as if you know the overlord.
