Chapter 215: Calm After The Storm?

After destroying the two people You Xi Wang adjourned the meeting. He turned to his master and bowed. Then he was about to speak when Animo Albus spoke, "Xiao Wang, go visit your parents. We will take the leave first." as she said that she had already stood up. You Zhichi came over to see off her master.  Alester Book gave You Xi Wang a reassuring smile and also followed his martial sister along with Achilles. 

You Zhichi spoke to her brother in a gentle voice, "Go change your clothes, we will leave soon. Also, wash your hands before you go out lest the kids get sacred." You Xi Wang's hands were still covered in blood. The boy nodded and condensed a ball of water around each hand. The blood on his hands dissolved in the water turning it red. Then he used fire attributed spiritual energy in his hands and evaporated the water ball. 

He turned to You Zhichi and asked, "Do you think it was okay to let them off like this?"

You Zhichi stretched her hand and caressed his head softly. She said, "Bro, she called for mercy in mom's name. It is fine. They got what they deserve. Don't overthink. Go get changed." her tone was unchanged. You Xi Wang nodded and walked out of the hall with her. 

Outside Celestia was waiting for them with Lily and some other kids. You Xi Wang smiled and picked up Celes in his arms. He spoke, "Would you like to visit my parents? I will buy the ingredients to cook for you all on the way back. Okay?"

Celestia nodded silently. She was a smart girl she could sense that You Xi Wang was not his usual self. She gently rested her head against his shoulder as You Xi Wang told all the other kids to go and rest. He will come back later with ingredients and cook a meal for them. His mind was occupied by a lot of things right now and he first needed to sort them out. You Xi Wang carried Celestia to his room and then sat her down on the bed. He smiled and spoke, "I will take a shower and change clothes. Then we will go together with Big sis, Okay?"

Celestia nodded with a bright smile. You Xi Wang tussled her hair and went to the bathroom. He stood below the shower. The system spoke, [Why are you not happy? You avenged your parents.]

You Xi Wang closed his eyes as he said, 'I feel empty. At first, I wanted to vent out my anger on them. Then it became something like therapy. I grew stronger because I wanted revenge. Now, I have no such emotion inside. What do you think is happening to me?'

The system fell silent. The almighty face slapping king system had no answer to this. He was just a secondary consciousness. All the emotions were left over to You Xi Wang himself. So how can it answer it without experience? You Xi Wang took a little longer than usual in the shower. Then he dried himself with a clean towel and walked to the cloakroom attached to the bathroom. He took out a white shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of white shoes. This was his staple clothing. Then he picked up a leather bracelet and tied it around his wrist. He left his hair the way they were after drying them. 

After dressing up he walked out and saw Celestia reading something on the Holo-Phone with a focused expression. You Xi Wang patted her small head and asked, "What is our little fairy reading?"

Celestia replied with her tiny fingers moving through the light screen quickly, "Big brother, the battle fest solo competition established a forum. And someone just challenged you directly. This person said that you cannot beat him even in millennia. Humph, overestimating himself. I wish to find that person and beat him to the pulp." she pouted her lips and puffed her cheeks. 

You Xi Wang spoke, "Don't worry, won't we find him in the competition? Come let s go. Big sis is waiting." he held Celestia's small hand and led her outside. The two quickly reached the parking area and saw You Zhichi standing beside their car. She waved at the two of them and said, "Today, big sis will drive."

You Xi Wang and Celestia exchanged a glance and said in unison, "NO!" it may seem that their reaction was exaggerated but it was not. You Zhichi was not made to drive the car. Despite her cautiousness and careful handling someone will almost every time rear-end their car. Celestia has been out with her and she has experienced the thing herself. The reason was her beauty. In order to strike up a conversation and exchange contacts, some perverts would crash their cars deliberately.

You Xi Wang started the vehicle by pressing the ignition button and the vehicle flew out. The speed of the car was not too fast and neither was it too slow. The two people purchased some flowers on the way. They also bought some food their parents liked to eat. You Zhichi was already provided with a big amount of food by the relatives in the family. They will be donating it all to the orphanage near the cemetery. 

They reached the cemetery soon. You Xi Wang walked ahead holding the flowers and You Zhichi walked in the back holding onto Celestia. They reached the place where their parents rested. In the past few months, the tombstones were covered with accumulated dust. You Xi Wang waved his hand and a gust of wind removed the dust. Then he waved his hand again and water drops condensed around the tombstones. The water washed away any remaining dirt. You Xi Wang kneeled down next to the tombstone of his mom and You Zhichi kneeled down next to the tombstone of her father and they took a piece of cloth out of their space rings. You Xi Wang placed a bundle of 50 white cicada tulips in front of his mother's tomb while YOu Zhichi placed 50 fiery ferns in front of her father's. Celestia took the cake and placed it in between the two tombstones. The three then knelt down and kowtowed to the tombstones. The two girls stood up after some time but You Xi Wang did not. He spoke while his head rested on the ground, "I have completed by oath mom. I hope you and dad are at rest up there. Miss you." his voice was very soft and after kowtowing to his father's grave he stood up. In his place, there were some wet spots. 

You Zhichi patted his shoulder and said, "It is okay now. By the way, do tell me what are you going to cook?"

You Xi Wang nodded and the first half but at the second half he smirked and said, "You will know when you eat it." then he turned to Celestia by his side and side, "Comrade Celes, are you ready to conquer the kitchen and also the stomach of your peer?"

Celestia followed his lead and like a good cadet she replied, "Aye, sir."

You Xi Wang then held her in his arms and said, "Let's go then. Pass the orders."

Celestia straightened herself and with her tender pink finger pointing ahead she spoke, "Company March."

You Xi Wang and You Zhichi replied, "Aye." and amidst the laughter and jokes two and a half people walked to the entrance of the cemetery. This role play of the army was something they picked up from the history books. These books recorded how the armies were before the age of spirit awakening. 

At this moment the three people were moving ahead towards the shopping center unknown that the silence after the storm was just a little break before another challenge.

In a dark room, a man with emerald robe sat in his mohagny chair when he sensed a something. The man raised his head from the documents in his hand and stood up. Then he walked to the washroom and closed the door behind him. He came in front of the mirror on the wall. The mirror rippled and his reflection distorted. In the place of his reflection a figure with a dark robe appeared. This figure's face was covered and only completely black eyes, devoid of any white, were visible. This figure spoke in a hoarse voice, "Croma City and Silica City forces have been cleaned up. The Colt family and your junior sister also fell in the last struggle. The council is hiding the details of the force who did this. Find it."

The man in the emerald robe shook his head and said, "Master, I don't have enough authority. The encryption is cast by the elders and high elders themselves. No one can find out the details. Also, do not act rashly. This force is very strong. It came out and struck us out of nowhere. This time the minions inside the council has also vanished.
