Chapter 262: Two Discoveries.

It has been six months since You Xi Wang was allowed to take his squad and start venturing on his own. Today was the Bi-annual report day. All the Majors gathered in the command center. They were all talking and looking at an empty chair from time to time. Deputy Commander Riaz and Deputy Commander No.2 entered the room with Maddison in lead.

Riaz spoke, "Attention."

All the majors stood up and saluted Maddison. The commander nodded to them and said, "Have a seat."josei

Everyone else sat down but the major, responsible for the western region kept standing. Maddison asked, "Something the problem, Arturo?"

This had his face slapped by You Xi Wang once so the past grievance was to be counted for today. He spoke, "Clearance Squad Captain, You Xi Wang is not here."

Maddison nodded in nonchalance. She said, "He is out there, an early raid. Will be returning before his turn arrives. Just so you know that I am covering him up. Here." she projected a formal application for the delay in attendance, written by You Xi Wang. 

The major shut up and sat down, inside his heart he was actually cursing himself for looking down on that monster. Maddison spoke up and the meeting started. East zone first reported the status. They reported the advancement, casualties, and consumption. 

Followed by the North, West, and South squad. This whole process lasted for an hour. (I wish I could just drag this section for more words. Lol) Suddenly the corporal standing outside the door came in. He asked, "Commander, Captain You Xi Wang asks the permission to march in."

Maddison nodded with a faint smile as she said, "Let him come in."

The corporal returned after a salute, soon You Xi Wang walked in. His hair had not grown as long as his neck and was held together with a rubber band. His fair skin now had a slight tan, making his chiseled face look even more angular and handsome. The one change was his right eyebrow, it was now had a cut near its edge. If he was a handsome guy earlier, now he was a Male God. 

The aura in his body was completely restrained, You Xi Wang now had mastered 6 spirit weapons, five intents, sword, spear, bow&arrow, knife, and fist, namely. His cultivation was now stable at the mid-level primal soul. His growth was being constantly monitored by the people, the more they knew him, the more shocked they felt. 

It was not only You Xi Wang but also his whole squad these guys were all monsters, all of them broke into the Primal soul realm. (Primal soul is comparable to a Super Saiyan 3) Imagine 40 of them. Yeah, they were all monsters. 

You Xi Wang saluted Maddison Midnight and said, "I apologize for being late."

Maddison Midnight replied, "It is fine. It is your turn to report now." her voice was calm. 

You Xi Wang nodded and said, "We have cleared 60 hotspots in total, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma, ten hotspots each. Right now the cleared area lies behind the immediate patrolling area of the rest of the squads. This was done so that we can attack from two sides, front and back to support the four regional squads. The squad has consumed seven thousand two hundred food pills. One per day, and once a month we change our battle suits, which tallies up to one hundred eighty now."

The words he spoke just now shocked them all. Regional squads knew that You Xi Wang's squad would go out to clear the hotspots behind the immediate patrol area but they did not think for him to have dealt with sixty spots already. This was a tremendous achievement. Deputy Commander Riaz asked, "Captain You, what is the casualty number?"

You Xi Wang smiled and said, "Except for some scratches now and then everyone is doing well. No casualties."

BOOM.

The minds of almost everyone present experienced Explosions. They have been here for ages yet the death rate of 70 % every month turned to nothing in front of this kid. You need to know that hardly anyone in his squad was over 20 years. Yet they managed to survive, suddenly the western regional squad major asked, "Captain You Xi Wang, do share your expertise with us all so that everyone in our squad can be also decrease the casualties."

The rest nodded, while Maddison had an amused smile on her face. She wanted to see how will You Xi Wang act and handle this ball in his court. You Xi Wang said, "We use the same equipment as you guys do, while the time we spend out there is much more than you do. I don't actually have any secret. Yes, we make internal rotations in our squad teams every week, that way the understanding of everyone has reached a level that they can fight well in almost any team. We use a triangle battle array with two people responsible for the support in the center. Obviously, I have my guys fight supporting each other. So, yeah that is about it"

The rest were stuck in a daze. They could not understand what You Xi Wang meant. Maddison took a deep breath to hold back herself from laughing. You XI Wang just used eloquence to fool these old people. No wonder he was called a maestro. This guy was now at the second stage of Mind reading, 'Micro Manipulation.'

You Xi Wang nodded but said, "Two."

Maddison heard from his brief reply that it must be an confidential matter. She said, "Everyone else, is dismissed."

Her voice was cold and everyone walked away with an confused expression. You Xi Wang did tell them that he makes internal rotation but he did not tell them about the hold spirit energy. The system said, [Master, you have grown up.]

You Xi Wang snorted, 'Can you stop acting like alfred?'

The system said, [Oh busted. Well, talk to the beauty. She is looking more pretty.]

You Xi Wang shook his head and said, "Teacher, I have a bad news and a good news. Which one first?"

Maddison said, "Brat, don't mold your web of words with teacher. Speak what is it."

You Xi Wang scratched the back of his head, "We found a ruin in the southern region."

Maddison was excited, "GOOD."

You Xi Wang facepalmed and said, "You are a bigger kid then I am. The ruin is occupied by the dark forces. When I say Dark forces, I mean humans. The entire population of that ruin has been corrupted by the dark energy and are like a walking dead now."

His words fell down like a bucked of cold water over Maddison's head. She calmed down immediately. She asked, "What makes you so sure?"

You Xi Wang said, "We found the clues of the ruins a week ago, but did not approach it. Primary Scouting team only came back today. Neo led them and you know what he did? He captured a live zombie and brought it to me in the morning. That is why I had to rush up early. They can be dealt with the spirit phaser guns but, their behavior is what worries me."

Maddison asked, "What about there behavior?"

You Xi Wang replied, "Ants. They act like ants. I can sense like they are being controlled by someone but who is that someone, I do not know. This news must only be known to the Council elders. I do not trust everyone here much teacher."

Maddison nodded and said, "I will ask Elder Victoria to come over here in person. That way the risk will be lower." her voice was solemn.

You Xi Wang said, "If the elder is ready to come over here, ask her to bring Elder Animo ALbus with her. We need strong array formations. My purification array is not very effective on these zombies. I worry there master will be a tough nut."

Maddison Midnight sensed the pressure and tense inside his voice. She said, "Someone who is tougher in front of our Youngest War God?"

You Xi Wang chuckled and said, "Being a war god does not makes me invincible teacher. Plus, now I have to think about others behind me as well."

Maddison nodded with a smile. Ever since Yuki asked him to get married when they go back, he has become more considerate. This was also the reason that his squad was not actually rampant as he first wanted it to be. Maddison spoke, "Okay you are dismissed, I will handle this matter. Also, you have received mail from You Zhichi and the others in the family make sure to write them back."

After a salute You Xi Wang left the command center. Today was a day off for him.
