Chapter 263: Fun.

You Xi Wang took his leave from the command center and went back to his room in the squad hall. In the past six months, his squad has all stayed here only. He entered the building and saw Zen Shoto and his team. He asked, "Sho, are you on rotation today?"

Zen Shoto has become good friends with him. So he did not mind the short name. He replied, "Yeah, what's up?"

Not only his name but his personality has become more outspoken and frank. You Xi Wang replied, "I was thinking if we should stop the recon team from approaching the ruins? I am afraid that the hand in the shadows might act up."

Zen Shoto replied, "You are lining up with me. Do not worry though. I have already asked Fenny about this. She agreed and the recon team is to stay out of bounds for the time being. What did the commander say about it?"

You Xi Wang told him about the discussion he had with Maddison earlier. Zen Shoto nodded thoughtfully and said, "Why don't we try to purify that place with the Holy-Spirit energy?"

The other boy shook his head at this. He said, "The array formation will take a long time. I cannot do it alone. Neither can we project the holy spirit there. The dark energy first needs to be constrained and then purified. First, we need a level 8 barrier. I am at level 7. So we better wait for the backup."

Zen Shoto nodded, "Your bottleneck cannot be loosened here."

You Xi Wang nodded and said, "I know right, the scenery here is not very eye-pleasing plus those food pills. Daddy has accumulated pill poison now."

Zen chuckled and replied, "You should have seen Klaus when he took the pill poison removal tonic. His face scrunched up like a bitter gourd. Hahahaha."

You Xi Wang also chuckled, after a small talk they parted. Zen was in charge of the command center while the former was taking rest. Inside his room, You Xi Wang immediately picked up a data coin for the desk. Placed it in the slot of the display table. Soon a hologram appeared in front of him. The hologram was of You Naixin and everyone at home. 

You Zhichi, Celestia, and Lily were also there. They all spoke, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YOU XI WANG."

The boy was surprised and said, "I forgot about that." today was his birthday. Scratched the back of his head and mumbled, '17 huh. thank you, guys. I miss you all.'

Then he saw the pictures they clicked and sent him with their wishes written on the pictures. These were all digital. Petra, Susan, Emily, Yuki's family, and their families were all there too. They all had a party and the atmosphere was jolly. Along with the letters, some company reports were also there. 

You Xi Wang saw the reports and shook his head. The operations were good and the products were now being used world wide. The name of the company was renowned on all of Metropia. He was happy with the reports and sent beck the reply congratulating the staff and the management. He asked You Naixin to arrange for a bonus appropriately for the people. 

In the end, he clicked three pictures of his and stored them all in a data coin and walked out of his room. He was headed to the postal office of the warring forces where every soldier sent letters home and stuff. He would have to come here once every month but three months ago he was in a raid and to save fenny he took on a scratch on his eyebrow, almost losing the eye. Since then it became weekly for him. Or he will get scolded by You Zhichi and the rest.

This was a hassle, one day in every week he will rest, so would the others but on rotation and rest did not mean anything. They would still go out to raid if they are restless. The boy walked up to the postal office and stood in a queue. He was recognised by almost everyone in the Epoch Base. Only a few would not know him. 

A coporal said, "Sir, do you wan to go ahead?" he was trying to give up his slot to You Xi Wang. The boy waved his hand with a smile and said, "Carry on. I am free today so it is fine." 

The corporal nodded and turned back to the front. You Xi Wang waited in the queue for an whole hour before it was his turn. He walked up to the window and said to the soldier inside, "From, Captain You Xi Wang, Clearance Squad, Epoch Base. To You Family Mansion, Silica City, Metropia..."

After a dozens of formailities his data coin was sent accepted to send back home. He sighed and turned back to the squad hall. The system spoke in his mind, [Your team forgot your birthday.]

You Xi Wang shrugged, "Probably lost sense of time."

The system said, [Good excuse.]

You Xi Wang shook his head and said, "Stop trying to put a chasm. You know that will not work at all."

The system snorted, [What is so good about you? Bitch, Daddy wants to go out.]

You Xi Wang shook his head, "Stop with this already. You were out last month."

The system spoke, [For an hour.]

You Xi Wang started ignoring him, and mumbled, 'How long has it been since I have slept? Let's get some shut eye.' with that decided he walked back to his Squad hall and entered the command center only to pause. The command center was decorated with balloons and ribbons. Yuki jumped up from the side and said, "Happy birthday, Xi Wang."

You Xi Wang smiled and replied, "Thank You." as he took a hold of her hand. The rest of the guys also poured up. The whole squad was here. You Xi Wang asked, "What are you guys doing here? Who is on the recon checkpost?"

Fenny said, "Deputy Commander Rias, volunteered to take that over." 

They all had signed an application and passed it to th commander asking for a day off, a lot of people had their birthdays and it was not celebrated and today they will hold a celebration party for everyone together. Maddison was more then happy because of the achievements they have piled up were enough for have them all promoted to captains and majors. So this small holiday was okay. 

The squad hall of the Wrath Squad was a tabbo territory as the people inside radiated a cold aura which was inturn radiated from the building but tonight he whole place was echoing with melodious songs and laughter. The whole base was curious about what the occasion would be. Soon their questions were answered whenthe Wrath squad officers visited them all with big cakes and said that it was to share their happiness with them. They all found out that You Xi Wang stepped in his 17th year. 

Well wishes flooded in. You Xi Wang was not shy or arrogant about it, he personally attended the visitors with Yuki and Gena beside him. Well, yeah his male god charm has worked once again. When he rescued Gena from the swarm, she was slightly awake and could feel how angry was he for her. 

So later on they became goo friend and Gena proposed, but to Yuki. Yuki had no problem and soon the harem league continued on the moon. The people were drowned in alcohol and food. These were all the supplies Yuki and the rest of the girls bought here when they first came from earth. 

The night passed away, the people went back to their duties. You Xi Wang stood on a cliff with his eyes slightly squinted. He spoke, "Fenny, what do you see?"

Fenny was beside him and she said, "The zombies are acting as if they are blocked by something?"

You Xi Wang shook his head and said, "Not the zombies but the dark master inside the ruins must be contained here by something."

Fenny opened her eyes wide, "Xiao Wang, do you mean this is a lay up?"

You Xi Wang sighed and nodded, "Tell the teams, seal of this whole parameter. we will only deal with it when we hear a response from the elders. I don't want to play with fire"

Fenny nodded and went to get the things done. You Xi Wang was correct in his decision. He was not going to push his team to death. Not when he knew that it could be avoided. He did not want any other squads to make a mess so he directly asked Fenny to make a parameter around.  josei

Inside the ruin, in a sealed room, a woman sat with her hair like a dark waterfall. She was very beautiful except for that her eyes were as black as a Void. They were missing any other color then black. She smiled grimly, as she mumbled, 'Interesting child. It will be fun to play.'
