Chapter 264: Shit storm.

The system sensed something when the woman spoke up. It said, [Master, the entity inside is not something we can face yet.]

You Xi Wang trembled, 'Did you sense it?'

The system said, [If not for the fact that the person inside let out a slight flicker of laws of darkness. I would not have sensed their presence.]

The boy suddenly froze as he asked, 'What did you say? Laws of darkness?'

System nodded, [Remember that guy, Rudra? He also let out a flicker of laws of destruction when he saw that lady. This is the same.]

You Xi Wang asked, 'Do you mean that this is a god of darkness?'

The system snorted, [Tenth of a god. Your grandmaster can deal with it. But this needs to be done soon. The person inside has sensed us. I am scared, that a shit storm is about to start.]

You Xi Wang asked, 'Any method to deal with it?'

[Either you step into Nirvana rebirth, comprehend laws, or run away. Which one of the three do you find more applicable.] the system spat.

You Xi Wang spoke up loud, "Everyone retreat. No recon. Set up a guard post five kilometers away from here, all four directions. Go." the team did not hesitate and followed his orders without delay. The boy said to Fenny, "Take charge here, I will go to the base."

Fenny asked, "What happened?"

You Xi Wang replied, "Shit happened, big momma, we are in a big mess. Don't ask much. Trust me" with that said he flew up back to the base. His speed was now very fast. He did not waste a second as he hurried towards the command center.

The corporal at the door said, "Sir, the commander has asked no be to interrupt."

You Xi Wang said, "You can inform her that, it is a level 7 alert report. I will take the whole responsibility."

The corporal was shocked to hear the level 7 alert. He was also aware of who You Xi Wang was. after some initial hesitation, he nodded and walked inside. After two minutes he came outside and let You Xi Wang get inside.

The boy stepped inside the command center to see a graceful lady sitting in front of Maddison Midnight. He saluted his teacher and then bowed down to the elder and said, "I have seen the elder."

Victoria nodded with a smile as she saw him. She asked, "What made you rattle, Xiao Wang? I heard the corporal say that it is a level seven alert?"

You XI Wang gulped and said, "My team located a ruin. Preliminary scout and recon showed it to be infested by zombie puppets. These puppets were all controlled by someone. Today when I went to the recon post, I found that the entity inside the ruin is an expert in dark laws. If a battle was triggered we will be wiped out completely in one night."

His words shocked Maddison and the elder was already standing. The elder asked, "How do you know that the other party is proficient in the laws of darkness?"

You Xi Wang sighed and said, "I had an encounter once with the god of destruction. It was a similar feeling that I sensed today but it was not of destruction but it was the darkness."

The two people were shocked, Victoria asked, "Do you mean that the other entity is a god of darkness?"

You Xi Wang shook his head and said, "The sensation was faint. Very faint to be exact, but I am sure that it was the law of darkness. Until and unless I am in Nirvana Rebirth Realm, I cannot face a Law wielder. Elder, you need to come over, and not alone. I am afraid something big is about to happen." he was really anxious. 

Elder Victoria sensed his restlessness and said, "Don't worry, I will arrive tomorrow. None is allowed to approach the ruins until I am there."

You Xi Wang said, "Elder if possible get a concealment array pendant from the grand master. It will be better to conceal your arrivals. Who knows how big is the perception of the law wielder is."

Law wielder was not a realm but it was a designation given to the people who had comprehended laws. Because Nirvana Rebirth realm needed one to comprehend laws to ascend to the next level. This thing was not easy at all. Some people were stuck on it for even hundred years. That is the reason that not many people have advanced to the Niravana Rebirth realm. 

You Xi Wang was correct to be afraid. After a few more instructions the call disconnected. Maddison said, "Calm down, the elder will be here soon."

You Xi Wang nodded and was about to leave when the alarm went off in the whole base. He glanced at the map and saw that the location the alarm went off the the east side of the moon. He took a sigh of relief and left the command center. It was not his zone to solve the problems. Right now on his mind was the though to go back to the squal hall and have a meeting with his team. 

He walked back to the squad hall in a daze, Gena happened to be coming out and she asked, "Xi Wang, what happened?"

You Xi Wang snapped out and said, "Gather everyone. This will be long and important. Also, call back those at the guard post to come back, but not before they deploy a concealment array, killing array and some surveillance drones around the ruin. The parameter radius is five kilometer."

Gena nodded and went back inside the hall to relay the message. A white figure flicked out of his shadow. It was may. She asked him, "Brother Xi Wang, your spirit is unstable. What is it?"

You Xi Wang stroked her head gently and said, "Maya, I am afraid that the future will not be very easy."josei

Maya replied, "What is easy, big brother? If not for the unconscious brain, we will have to spend effort in breathing too. No? Nothing is ever easy and neither is it hard. You just have to remember that it is all in your mind and how you look at a situation."

You Xi Wang was surprised and chuckled, "Yes, you are right. I did lose my sight there for a second. So what do you say? Can we deal with that law wielder?"

Maya said, "We will know when we try, won't we?"

You Xi Wang nodded to her with a smile and mumbled, "We will, for sure."

The two went inside the squad hall and waited for the others to gather. It twook people three hours to come back from all the postings. You Xi Wang said, "So, we have a situation."

Klaus asked, "What is it?"

He took a deep breath and said, "It has been detected that inside those ruins, a law wielder is present."

His words unsettled everyone. They began to murmur. Issac spat, "SHUT UP."

The crowd immediately fell into silence. You Xi Wang nodded to Isaac and then continued, "Elder Victoria is arriving tomorrow. We are tasked to guard the place tonight. It will be tough and deadly. But we have to stay together. To make sure that the things do not fall apart, I have a plan."

Chen Yuping spoke, "Why are you hesitating? Just say, how many times have you saved almost each one of us from death? Go on we trust you." he sensed that his cousin was holding back today. 

You Xi Wang sighed and said, "So the plan is to make the enemy pit itself in a situation where they can not attack us indiscriminately..."

It was early at night when the squad all stood at the guarding post. Five sentries were posted gazing at the ruin for any moment at all. They have all taken every possible. You Xi Wang and the 40 others were sitting together in meditation. Before coming here Yuki asked the boy why was he being so hesitant today. 

He told her that it is because he is afraid to see his close ones suffer. Yuki smiled and said, "If you hesitated and something happened, you will just be able to regret it. Try to let go of the pressure. You are not alone, we all are here. It will be alreight."

This small talk made his mood rise a bit and finally they all were ready to face whatever was to come.

Inside the ruins, the lady spoke, "These kids are not easy to deal with." she sighed and said, "How long has it been, since I have felt this feeling?"

Her black eyes flickered and revealed a trace of sanity. Suddenly her body keeled over, she spoke in a hoarse voice, "Shut up bitch, why do struggle so much even after giving in. Do you not remember that it was this emotional trash of yours that made darkness prevail? Better shut up and let me have some fun. These brats, I want to see how long can theyhold up."
