“What is happening?” Poison Dart looked at the fallen gang member and walked over when he felt a sharp pain on the back of his neck. He turned around and saw nothing.
“That sturdy?” Zhao Yao looked surprised by the bald man who was 15cm taller than him. He punched his forehead with all his might and he fell to the ground.
As Zhao Yao descended the stairs, he suddenly looked back at Lin Wanqian and said, “Why are you gaping? Follow me.”
“Oh...” Lin Wanqian thought they were leaving and followed him enthusiastically. Zhao Yao fought his way down from the third floor to the ground floor. All the gang members were unable to see the attacks and collapsed to the ground.
Zhao Yao said to Lin Wanqian, “Wait for me here.”
After Zhao Yao entered the small building again, Lin Wanqian wanted to run but she was afraid. While hesitating, she saw Zhao Yao exit the house with the fallen gang members floating behind him.
The ten captured gang members were tossed onto the ground.
Zhao Yao waved his hand and a chair floated to him. Sitting on the chair, he gazed at the ten men and said to Lin Wanqian, “Tell them I have questions. I will kill them if they do not answer.”
Zhao Yao kept Lin Wanqian because she could help him translate better than Old Cat.
Lin Wanqian looked at Zhao Yao in shock. Recalling his ferocious look, she translated to Poison Dart, Zach and the gang members.
The gang members reacted with scorn. Zach glared at Zhao Yao and said, “Chinese man, do not be smug because of your superpower. If you fight against the Cobra Gang, you will not leave this city. You will be dismembered and thrown into the feces pit. And this girl...”
Zhao Yao listened to Lin Wanqian’s translation. He was perplexed when the gang member starting cursing.
The Deflective Field was activated and a steel rod flew up and penetrated Zach’s wrist, pinning him to a mud wall.
“Ah!!!” Zach screamed in agony and glared maliciously at Zhao Yao and Lin Wanqian. “My brothers will take revenge for me.”
Lin Wanqian was scared stiff by his malevolent gaze. She stepped back and hid behind Zhao Yao.
Lin Wanqian understood the gang members very well and said timidly, “These people are not afraid of death. They will kidnap for a few hundred Euros and sacrifice themselves for a few thousand Euros.”
Zhao Yao stroked his chin. “Not afraid of death? Perhaps before meeting me.”
Most of his enemies in China would yield under such interrogation. However, the gang members were born in the poorest country in Europe. In such harsh conditions, they did not have a moral code and depended on brutality to survive. They do not care for others except for their own families.
Zhao Yao gazed his Zach, who was glaring back fearlessly. He even spat saliva at him.
Zhao Yao asked Zack grimly, “How many women have you sold?”
Zach sneered as Lin Wanqian translated. “100? 500? 1000? Who knows. Do you think I would be concerned with how many women I sold?”
Lin Wanqian covered her mouth as she felt the urge to vomit. She looked in astonishment at the ten gang members. She could not see any guilt, regret or perplexity in their eyes... only a matter-of-factness.
Zhao Yao maintained his composure, looked at Zach and asked, “Do you know about Double-Headed Vulture?”
Zach kept quiet, looked bewilderedly at them and sneered, “You are looking for death.”
“Not willing to comply.” Zhao Yao activated his power of illusion and an invisible vibration engulfed the gang members.
In the next instant, they exclaimed out of fright. They saw numerous ants climbing up their legs. No matter how they swatted, the ants would not give up. Zach’s body was filled with millions of ants devouring his flesh and bones and he yielded.
“Stop! Stop!” Zach screamed in terror. “I will tell you, stop! I will tell you everything if you stop these d*mn vermin!”
Zach tossed and turned, knocking his body against the wall to stop the ants. However, Zhao Yao was unaffected and he watched solemnly.
Zach’s screams became more frantic. When he saw the flesh below his thigh completely devoured, he incinerated his body with a lighter.
The other nine men watched in horror. The ants on their body did not chew their flesh, however, they gazed at Zhao Yao with much terror.
Lin Wanqian was not subjected to the illusion so she could not see any ants. She was shocked by Zach’s screams and his incineration. Though she was frightened, she felt satisfaction seeing the gang members being punished for their sins.
Zhao Yao looked at them and said, “I am asking again, who has information on the Double-Headed Vulture.”
Everyone with the exception of Poison Dart hesitated. They were about to blurt out information on Double-Headed Vulture.”
Poison Dart stood up and said, “Don’t think that you can get any useful information from us. I will see you in hell!” He took out a handgun from his jacket and aimed it at Zhao Yao.
The bullet penetrated Zhao Yao as though it had shot through an illusion.
Zhao Yao appeared behind their back, shaking his head. The previous Zhao Yao was just an illusion.
The ants chewed on Poison Dart’s body, causing him to fire wildly at Zhao Yao, depleting his bullets. He screamed, collapsed to the ground and rolled all over the place.
Zhao Yao sighed. “You should have left one bullet for yourself.”
Poison Dart had lost his sanity under the illusory attack of the ants. He cried while imploring, “Pardon me, please stop these vermin, I beg you! I will tell, I will say everything.”
Zhao Yao controlled with his thoughts and Poison Dart collapsed to the ground, unable to move or speak, silently enduring the chewing of the ants. Zhao Yao looked at the remaining eight gang members and asked, “Who has information on Double-Headed Vulture?”
