“I know!”
“I know, I know!”
The eight men competed with each other to tell everything. Lin Wanqian was concentrating as she translated, “They do not know the details about Double-Headed Vulture except that it is the leader of all the gangs and responsible for exporting kidnapped women and drugs overseas...”
When Lin Wanqian stopped, Zhao Yao asked, “What happened? Is there something you don’t understand?”
Lin Wanqian covered her mouth as she found it difficult to accept. “3... 3000 Euros to 5000 Euros for a kidnapped woman. How could they do such as thing?”
Zhao Yao sighed and said, “Ask them the location of the Double-Headed Vulture.”
Zhao Yao was disappointed with the answer. This location was a stronghold of the Cobra Gang and only their leaders were able to contact members of the Double-Headed Vulture.
Zhao Yao nodded and said, “Okay.” He pointed casually to one of the men and said, “Where is your boss? Get him to come over, I will wait for him here.”
Lin Wanqian did not translate his words. She looked astounded at Zhao Yao and said, “What are you saying? Are you waiting for them here? This is too dangerous. They will bring a lot of people. I also heard that the gangs have machine guns!!”
Zhao Yao waved his hands. “It doesn’t matter, the more the merrier. You will translate my words directly.”
Lin Wanqian was not complying as she thought it was suicidal. Even if Zhao Yao possessed superpowers, she was unsure he could handle hundreds of gangsters with firearms.
Zhao Yao shrugged his shoulders and said in frustration, “If you do not comply, I will leave you here.”
“You!” Lin Wanqian reluctantly spoke to the eight men. Old Cat suddenly blurted, “Zhao Yao, this woman didn’t translate your words, she said we were returning to our country.”
Zhao Yao stared at Lin Wanqian and gravely said, “Translate my exacts words before I will strip you naked and throw you in the wilderness.”
Lin Wanqian glared at him. “Is this man trying to implicate me? Does he understand what I had translated? Why does he want me to translate?”
Lin Wanqian was fuming at his arrogance but she was helpless against physical threats. Under the supervision of Old Cat, she complied.
The eight gang members were shocked after listening to the translation. They looked dumbstruck at Zhao Yao.
Zhao Yao was indifferent as he pointed out a member and asked, “What is your name?”
“Nick.”
Zhao Yao said, “Very good, Nick, you may go and convey my message. Remember to ask your boss to bring more men.”
Nick could not believe his luck and ran a few steps. When Zhao Yao did not stop him, he bolted off.
Lin Wanqian looked worriedly at Zhao Yao and yelled, “Hey! Are you really waiting for them here? It is too dangerous, let’s leave.”
Zhao Yao sat leisurely on the chair, studied the newly appeared mission and said, “Do not fret. Relax a bit. With me around, you will be the safest woman. As long as you are obedient, you will not die even if you wanted to.”
Mission: Exterminate the Cobra Gang
Mission Objective: Exterminate the Cobra Gang
Reward: 1000 experience points
Mission Penalty: None
“Simple and brutal mission... my favorite.” Zhao Yao nodded with satisfaction. “When I return, I should be able to upgrade Elizabeth.”
Lin Wanqian was overwhelmed with anxiety and she paced up and down, occasionally glancing at Zhao Yao and sighing heavily.
The remaining gang members sized up Zhao Yao gravely as if he was an idiot and a dead man.
Suddenly, Zhao Yao exclaimed in surprise. Lin Wanqian turned her head and asked, “Are you leaving?”
“No, I forgot about him.” Zhao Yao looked at Poison Dart and relinquished control over him. He remained motionless and gaped at the sky as though he had gone insane.
“He is that weak, succumbing just like that?” Zhao Yao shook his head and shifted his gaze at the eight men. They trembled in fear.
Zhao Yao did not punish them. He kept the kidnapped women in his Extradimensional Belly so that he could let them go home once he returned to the downtown area.
At the courtyard on the ground floor, Roly Poly rubbed his hands and reminded Zhao Yao, “Zhao Yao, the money.”
“Don’t be impatient.” Zhao Yao caressed Roly Poly’s head and said, “If I ask them for money, they will not comply. Let’s beat them up first.”
For safety’s sake, Zhao Yao spat out the supercats and equipped them with supercat armor version 3.0.
Matcha, Elizabeth, Ares, Mango, Lightning, Uncle Egg, F?jin, Gaia, Rice Cake... every supercat was taken out of the Extradimensional Belly.
Zhao Yao treated the eight gangsters as dead men, hence he did not hide his preparation for a full battle.
Lin Wanqian was amazed while the eight gangsters looked worried. They looked at each other and postulated, “Are those supercats?”
“Impossible, how can a man possess so many supercats?”
Zhao Yao was contemplating. “This is a European gang with firearms and perhaps some apostles. I have to be extra careful.” He looked a gangster and asked, “Hey, how many men is your boss able to bring over?”
The gangster replied with help of translation, “500 men, all fully equipped experienced fighters. If you release us, we can intercede for you and you will be spared from death.”
“That many?” The gangster nodded proudly when Zhao Yao expressed his astonishment.
“I should also beef up my forces.” Zhao Yao spat out Cat Sage, who transformed into a sixty-meter Tri-headed Golden Dragon and bellowed ferociously. Everyone was stunned.
“Maintain a low profile.” Zhao Yao quickly beckoned Cat Sage and said, “Sage, I have reminded you numerous times, we have to maintain a low profile with our superpowers. If you show your base card too early, everyone will know your worth.” Zhao Yao snapped his finger and said, “Roly Poly, make him invisible.”
It was fortunate that the small building was located in a desolate rural area, so nobody noticed Cat Sage’s transformation.
After witnessing the Tri-headed Golden Dragon become invisible, everyone in the courtyard gazed at each other, their eyes filling with terror.
Lin Wanqian was gaping as she pointed to the location where Cat Sage had vanished. “That... that... that... was that a dragon?”
