tried to read this but the grammar is bad and the way the characters act is not good as well
The book is all about political intrigued, and development of industry and economy. That's it! For wars? Watching YouTube videos about the battles in 19th, 20th, WW1 and WW2 is much more enjoyable and immersive. The author wrote the battles like what you would read in Wikipedia and sometimes much worse. For e.g. "The southern front army defeated the 100,000 Ottoman troops and captured [blank] city and the path to Constantinople is open."This is what you'll read in battles, which is a fking battle report. You won't even read any strategic moves of division, regiment, platoon and even in squad levels. And reading about the soldiers life can be counted and in small scenes, and it is the same to small characters like workers and peasants. In fact there are so much things the author left out in WW1 arc that can picked the readers enthusiasm again, in the end you'll just get bored reading of battle reports. Only planes and ships was given a lot of sentences about their battles, for tanks and submarines, you can only read it in battle reports. For all the preparation that the MC did for WW1 in the end it was boring. Conclusion: Watching history battles is much better.
I have read other authors' books. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint
balance reigns
Bulgarian empire but it's written by a Chinese author... let's see how this plays out-
