Chapter 75

Black who was half asleep in a sitting position on the big tree branch, opened his eyes. Looking around he saw Lily, sleeping peacefully on his side.

"Miss Lily, please wake up now-" Black stopped his sentence mid-air.

"YOU!! DARE!!" Lily said while she was still asleep. She was sleep talking, however, it's already early in the morning.

Black scratches his head in helplessness, this was the first time he felt helpless in a situation. He can't forcibly wake up Lily, in the soldier's mind, they respect the subordinates of His Majesty. Even if it's too weak, and can be killed by them. As long as they don't betray His Majesty, the soldiers will give any subordinates their deserve respect.

Since the other two, who were keeping watch of the merchant's group, still didn't come back to report, he let Lily sleep, and waited for the two Thief.

After an hour, the two Thief finally come back.

"Sir, they are now getting ready to go." Thief 1 reported.

"Ok." He then picked Lily up, then said. "Miss Lily, wake up now, we still have a mission His Majesty-" He was again interrupted.

"AAAHHH!! YOUR MAJESTY PLEASE DON'T EA-... Ehh, ohhh" Lily opened her eyes wide, as though she just escaped a nightmare, she looked around and seeing trees all around her. She then gives a sigh of relief, as though he was glad that it's not true.

"Are you ok, Miss Lily?" Black asked.

"I'm okay now Uncle Black... This is your fault Uncle Black if you wake up me earlier. I wouldn't have experienced that nightmare." Lily said while pouting, she then hoops in Black's head.

Hearing it Black couldn't help but scratch his head but didn't say anything. He shifted his gaze to the two Thief, then said. "Let's go now."

They then began moving, it didn't take long for them to arrive, at the distance they saw the car was already moving, with seven adventurers guarding it.

After half a day of travel, they finally saw the end of the forest.

"Thank God we can now leave this hell on earth forest..." The Thief said.

"Yeah, I badly wanted to take a bath right now. How long has it been since I cleaned myself? As soon as I arrived at my house, I will surely submerge myself in the tub for hours." The female Archer said.

"Aren't we found a lake on our way, if you are that needed to take a bath, then why you didn't take a bath back then?" The Thief said while smirking, he was teasing her.

Hearing it and The Female Archer's eyebrow arched upward and spoke with contempt. "Why would I, with you around that's not gonna happen, however..." She shifted his gaze at Carl with a hearty eye, before she continued "...If Mr. Carl and I were the only ones here... I don't mind."

"What's good with that jerk, I have more muscles than him." The thief said while flexing his non-existent muscle.

"George, that's all bones." Said by the Guardian of the group, he was holding a big shield that as tall as himself.

"Task, who cares about muscle. I'm faster than him." George said, with annoyance.

"Yeah fast, that was what girls hated the most, haha" She was now the one smirking at him.

"Ok, you two stop you blathering! and get back to work!. Even though we are now about to exit the forest, we still have to look out for the beast. And remember, beasts are not the only ones our concern here in the forest, but bandits also." The leader of the group sermons the two of them.

Hearing it, the group then began to looking around attentively. No one would want to see their angry captain again, so they immediately obey. Because the last time their captain got angry it was a hellish day for them.

After some time, Black's group, saw the carriage exited the forest.

"Miss Lily is the mapping finished already?" Black asked, seeing that they were now at the edge of the forest.

"Still not complete, Uncle Black. Let's get a little closer, then it will be completed." Lily said, seeing that the map still did not include the exit of the forest.

"Okay... But first, did Miss Lily, didn't find anything unusual?" He asked first, he wants to be careful. They were now closed to human territory, so he needs to be extra careful. If anything happens to Lily, then, he didn't know how to face His Majesty.

"There's none Uncle Black." Lily answered.

"Okay, you two guard at the front, and be alert." Black then ordered sternly, the two followed Black's orders and walked in front while looking around attentively.

They were now on the ground and not jumping around the tree branches. Although they have stealth on, they can still be seen if someone focuses their attention on the place they were in.

Shortly after, "Ok I'm done, Uncle Black. Let's go back now-..." Lily stopped his sentence when he saw a glaring sword hurling towards Black's heart. A person suddenly appears in front of Black and trusts its sword. josei

The two Thief immediately turned around, with their dagger ready to stab the attacker. However, the attacker was soo fast, in the blink of an eye, the sword already penetrates his chest inches away from his heart.

Black tilted his body a little so that the sword won't penetrate his hearth. The next moment, he counter-attacks by slashing his dagger towards the attacker's face. The two Thiefs were now inches away from the attacker's back.

"Tssk!" The next moment, a blast comes out of the attacker's body. Blasting the trio, and slamming them on the trees.

Black gritted his teeth in pain, and stand up. He looked around and saw Lily on his side unconscious.

The thief shouted at Black and attack without regard for their life.

"Go now Sir Black, we will stop this bastard."

Black pick up Lily, before nodding to the two. He used haste skill, and activate the stealth skill, before escaping the place. It's not that he didn't care about the two, but His Majesty's orders were more important to him.
