Chapter 74 Are You Implying Anything?

Early the next morning…

When Belly woke up, Kerwin had washed up. Standing in front of the full– length mirror, he was buttoning his shirt.

Most of the buttons hadn‘t been fastened, and a part of his chest was exposed. His muscles were firm, white, and well–defined

Betty hadn‘t expected to enjoy such a view early in the morning. She was amazed.

Through the mirror, Kerwin noticed her dull look. The corners of his mouth curved up, and his deep voic e rang out. “How do I look? Impressed?”

Betty came to her senses, got confused, and then figured it out. Kerwin was asking if she was impresse d by his figure.

She blushed and looked away in a hurry.

Kerwin saw her panicky action and arched his brow with displeasure.

Regardless of those unfastened buttons, he turned around, walked to the bed, bent down, and pinched her chin. She was forced to face him.

“Betty,” Kerwin called out in a deep, attractive voice. “Watch as you like. I won‘t charge you.”

Betty‘s eyes rounded.

Was this a false impression? She felt that Kerwin was getting cheekier.

Betty could not match him in that aspect. The sight of his firm chest made her blush even

more.

Lest Kerwin should see through her fluster, she changed the subject. “Well… What do you think? Will B ruce find out that we didn‘t do it last night?”

Kerwin cocked his brows and bent down deeper. “Maybe, so?”

“So…” His approaching further flustered Betty, and she blurted out, “Will he scold

us?”

Kerwin‘s eyebrow rose higher, and he asked, “Betty, are you implying anything?”

Betty froze before his words sank in. She itched to bite her tongue off!

She was stupid to bring that up!

“It‘s… Not what I mean,” she said in a panic, fearing that Kerwin would misinterpret it.

“What do you mean then?” Kerwin chuckled, his breath brushing past the tip of her nose. “Don‘t you know that m en are most demanding in the morning?”

Betty blushed up to her ears and stammered, “That… That‘s not…”

Kerwin just played a joke on her. To his surprise, the little woman took it seriously and looked panic– stricken. The corners of his mouth curved up even higher.

“Just kidding,” he whispered. Just as she was about to heave a sigh of relief, the second half of his speech came and unnerved here

again. “But… Your concern is not groundless. I think we‘d better do something.”

“Huh?” Betty panicked. Before she could ask about it, Kerwin had bent down and buried his head in her white neck.

“Ah!” Betty was taken aback and tried to struggle. Anticipating that, Kerwin clasped her hands and pres sed her down on the bed. Unable to move a bit, she yelped, “K… Kerwin, what are you doing?! Stop… Stop

it...”

A wet and tickling sensation then came from her neck. Terrified, Betty intended to scream, but a numbin g sensation shot through her. When she made the second half of her remark, her voice started to shake.

After a long time, Kerwin straightened up, looked at the distinct marks on Betty‘s white neck, and grinne d with satisfaction.

“This will do it,” Kerwin whispered, looking at the rosy cheeks of the little woman.

Betty realized something, pushed Kerwin

away, jumped off the bed, and rushed to the mirror.

She looked at herself in the mirror and froze.

Her face was flushing, and her eyes were twinkling. The charm about her was something she found unf amiliar.

Was… This really her?

It was not important.

What mattered were the distinct hickeys on her neck!

“Kerwin!” She couldn‘t help but sulk. “I… I can‘t go out and meet people like this!”

Kerwin came up, wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, and chuckled. “These are just marks left by me.”

Betty glared at him but could do nothing except put on her clothes.

Before she came last night, Lillian had prepared clothes for her to wear during the trip back.

In fact, after she married Kerwin, the latter had asked the servants to buy her a lot of clothes. Betty rarel

The only disadvantage was that it couldn‘t cover up the hickeys on her neck.

Since Betty didn‘t take the concealer with her, she had to apply some liquid foundation. Then she bit the

In the dining room, Old Bruce, Henry, Jeffrey, and Emily had started having breakfast.

As Kerwin came late, Henry‘s face fell. “Kerwin, you‘re late. Grandpa has been waiting.”

“Grandpa has started eating, hasn‘t lie?” Kerwin‘s wheelchair slid to the table, and le

His words were meaningful, and everyone turned to look at Betty.

At the sight of her rosy cheeks and amorous eyes, he couldn‘t refrain from imagining their passion last night,
