Chapter 1542  Updating the Library

As Feng Chen handed over the cultivation manuals, scrolls and other documents that he didn't need any longer to Elder Song before he focused his entire attention on comprehending the Dao of the Sword and smaller Daos like the Dao of Sharpness and the Dao of Speed that could help increase the strength of his Dao of Sword, Elder Song wasted no time in looking through them himself.

Because of this it didn't take long before the sect's library added the new cultivation manuals and combat techniques that had been among the things handed over by Feng Chen.

In turn, this ended up making the different wandering cultivators who recently joined the sect extremely excited, as most of these cultivation techniques and combat techniques were suited for those in the Soul Ascension Realm and the Dao Seed Realm. Making them believe that the Star Shattering Sect had deliberately added these techniques and manuals to the library because of them.

After all, when they had first joined the sect, there weren't that many cultivation manuals and combat techniques for the Soul Ascension Realm and the Dao Seed Realm, something that those who noticed just believed to be because most of the disciples and elders at the Seventh Star Peak were from the younger generation.

Now that there was an ample supply of cultivation manuals and combat techniques suitable for the Soul Ascension Realm and Dao Seed Realm present in the sect, these Soul Ascension Realm cultivators felt even more fired up when it came to teaching the younger generation of the sect. After all, this was the main way that they would be able to get their hands on contribution points that could then be used to exchange for these combat techniques and cultivation manuals.

Of course, outside of the cultivation manuals and combat techniques, these Soul Ascension Realm cultivators were also extremely interested in the Dao Enlightenment Monument, as it was something that would be directly helping them in reaching the Dao Seed Realm in the future.

Not just that but given that it was clear that the Star Shattering Sect had powerful cultivators in the Dao Seed Realm and beyond, they also wanted to save up contribution points to request guidance from these powerful cultivators.

All things considered, everything ended up going well with the wandering cultivators being integrated into the Star Shattering Sect, the main problem was the Zhang Clan and how to integrate this large clan into the Star Shattering Sect.

Even if the entire clan wouldn't be moving into the Shattered Star Peaks, it was still difficult to manage the large influx of cultivators from the Zhang Clan. Especially their Dao Seed Realm Ancestor.

At the very least for now, the situation with the Zhang Clan was kept under control by the fact that the clan was only slowly moving to the Star Shattering Sect's territory, with most of the ones from the Zhang Clan being from the younger generation.

The few Soul Ascension Realm Elders of the Zhang Clan that did move along with these younger members of the Zhang Clan to join the Star Shattering Sect were for now assigned to help guard the sect's borders and keep an eye on different major powers that might want to interact with the Star Shattering Sect.

In return, they were awarded with contribution points that they could similarly use to exchange for cultivation resources and guidance from a senior.

Of course, to convince these Soul Ascension Realm cultivators who were part of a clan that already had an ancestor in the Dao Seed Realm, Elder Song had made sure to include information on the Profound Immortal Realm when first meeting with them, while at the same time making guidance from a Profound Immortal Realm Ancestor a possibility that could be exchanged for with enough contribution points.

The problem with the Star Shattering Sect not having an ancestor like that at the moment was not a problem, as the contribution points required to get the guidance of a Profound Immortal Realm Ancestor was currently so high that none of these Soul Ascension Realm cultivators from the Zhang Clan or among the wandering cultivators would ever get a chance to save up enough for the next fifty to a hundred years.

Even if this was a long period of time for a normal mortal, for someone in the Soul Ascension Realm, it wasn't that long.

Working between 50 to 100 years saving up for a chance to be guided by a senior cultivator that had far surpassed their cultivation realm could honestly be considered shocking.

After all, normally, they would never be able to meet someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm with their Soul Ascension Realm cultivation base, let alone someone in the Profound Immortal Realm.

As for what the sect would do when the time came where these Soul Ascension Realm cultivators had saved up enough contribution points and started seeking out a Profound Immortal Realm Ancestor of the Star Shattering Sect for guidance? Elder Song fully put his faith into Xuan Hao reaching the Profound Immortal Realm at that point in time.

Although he had no idea if it was possible, he had faith in Xuan Hao's strength and growth. After all, he had far surpassed anyone in the Flying Sword Sect in a short period of time and allowed the Flying Sword Sect to evolve into the Star Shattering Sect that was now regarded as an ancient hidden sect by the surrounding major powers.

Thinking about this, reaching the Profound Immortal Realm in the next 50 or 100 years seemed like a relatively small challenge.

Not to mention, part of Elder Song already felt like Xuan Hao might already have reached the Profound Immortal Realm. After all, the things he had done so far were already far beyond what should have been possible by someone with strength in the Dao Seed Realm.

Even if he did know a bit about the Dao Domain Lord Realm, part of him already believed Xuan Hao to have stepped through that realm and possibly entered the Profound Immortal Realm already.

In a sense, this was another reason why he had added the Profound Immortal Realm guidance among the rewards that could be exchanged through the sect contribution points, as part of him already believed the Star Shattering Sect to have someone in the Profound Immortal Realm behind it. Even if the person in question hadn't said anything about it yet.

"This should be the limit of what the current Star Shattering Sect can handle when it comes to Soul Ascension Realm cultivators…" Unaware of how much his strength was currently being overestimated by Elder Song back in the Star Shattering Sect, Xuan Hao quietly muttered this to himself as he looked down towards an excited wandering cultivator who had just recently broken through to the Soul Ascension Realm with his help rushing off in the direction of the Star Shattering Sect in the Northern Region of the continent.

Over the past few months, he continued recruiting more wandering cultivators in the Soul Ascension Realm to join the sect.

However, knowing that the sect could only surpass a limited number of Soul Ascension Realm cultivators for now, he switched from recruiting those already in the Soul Ascension Realm to helping those at the Pinnacle of the Domain Lord Realm breakthrough to the Soul Ascension Realm.

Although this took far longer than just recruiting wandering cultivators already in the Soul Ascension Realm, it did help make these wandering cultivators far more grateful towards him and in turn the Star Shattering Sect.

The only problem he now found himself facing was that the Star Shattering Sect had reached the limit that it could handle with its current resources.

Any more Soul Ascension Realm cultivators and it would start putting a strain on the resources of the sect.

Not so much that there weren't enough resources in the sect, but more so that there were far too few alchemists, blacksmiths and other professionals to accommodate any more Soul Ascension Realm cultivators.

With that in mind, Xuan Hao turned his focus away from searching for any more Soul Ascension Realm cultivators and instead returned to searching for Dao Seed Realm cultivators.

Even though it had been some time since he had been to the Dragon Tooth Mountain City, he had not managed to recruit any new Dao Seed Realm cultivators to sect.

The reason was rather simple, as cultivators at that high cultivation base simply weren't interested, already part of a major power or just didn't fit in with the requirements he and Elder Song had crafted when it came to recruiting someone that powerful to join the sect.

In most cases, the main reason he didn't recruit someone was the last of these three reasons, as the requirements were rather difficult to fulfill for someone in the Dao Seed Realm.

However, now that he intended to place his full focus on finding someone in the Dao Seed Realm to join the sect, Xuan Hao hoped he would at least be able to find one more before he returned to the sect…
