Chapter 17: Finding a Cultivation Mantra for Qing Yi
The fifth floor of the Pagoda of Enlightenment was exclusively for the Nascent Soul Realm members of the Flying Sword Sect. The formation that Xuan Hao had passed through a little earlier was set up by the sect's founder and could easily kill a mid-stage Nascent soul cultivator, even a peak mid-stage Nascent Soul cultivator at the sixth stage would have little chance of surviving the formation!
Xuan Hao looked around the relatively small room as he located the few books present in the room.
The books were the Heaven Rank Mantras that the Flying Sword Sect had collected throughout its years, it was even said that over 90 percent of the Heaven Rank Mantras here were all brought in by the founder when he established the sect back in the day.
In the current day and age, getting one's hand on a Heaven Rank Mantra was more difficult than ascending heaven. After all, a Heaven Rank Mantra symbolized a path to the King Realm!
Xuan Hao had come here for specific mantra he remembered seeing up here when he first visited after reaching the Nascent Soul Realm.
"Heaven Burning Mantra!"
The cultivation mantra was at high-tier Heaven Rank! Just a normal low-tier Heaven Rank cultivation mantra would cause an outrage the moment it appeared in the Heavenly Sky Kingdom, let alone a high-tier Heaven Rank cultivation mantra, that would most likely attract the attention the empire above the Heavenly Sky Kingdom!
The cultivation mantra was something that the founder had brought with him when he first established the sect and also one of the many reasons why Xuan Hao and the other Nascent Soul experts of the Flying Sword Sect thought that their founder was most likely someone important from a strong empire.
But why had he escaped all the way to the Heavenly Sky Kingdom to establish the Flying Sword Sect?
Xuan Hao shook his head slightly as he thought about it, no use thinking about it. More than 5000 years had passed since the founder passed away already.
Picking up the Heaven Burning Mantra, Xuan Hao looked over it just to see if it was truly a good fit for Qing Yi.
The Heaven Burning Mantra had harsh requirements to who could cultivate it, one of those requirements was that the one cultivating it must have a divine physique aligned with the fire element.
Just the first requirement was more than enough to disqualify almost all the people who wanted to cultivate it.
Luckily, Qing Yi had the Bright Sun Divine Physique! The divine physique of Qing Yi was also a fire element divine physique and she should not have any problem cultivating the Heaven Burning Mantra.
Smiling slightly to himself, Xuan Hao put the Heaven Burning Mantra away and made his way back down to the fourth floor before making his way out the Pagoda of Enlightenment.
The disciples on the first and second floor was still running around the place looking for cultivation mantras that fit them, though most of them had ended up sticking with the sect main cultivation mantra, the Flying Sword Mantra.
"Did you find what you were looking for Elder Xuan?"
Exiting the Pagoda of Enlightenment, Xuan Hao turned towards the sound of the voice.
"Ah, Elder Meng! I did manage to find what I was looking for, luckily it was rather easy and didn't take as long as I expected it would.
"That is great to hear, well, I won't hold you up any longer. Farewell once again Elder Xuan."
"Haha, Indeed! Farewell once again Elder Meng."
Exchanging a quick farewell with Elder Meng once again, Xuan Hao made his way towards the outskirt of the sect.
The place that he was headed to, was the location of the servant quarters of the sect.
The servant quarters of the Flying Sword Sect were by no means a small place, but due to it not really being a part of the sect itself, it was located at the outskirts of the sect.
Servants from the servant quarters were mostly trained from a young age and would later be employed by the Flying Sword Sect when there was a need for it. Only when a servant was hired by a disciple or elder would he or she officially be considered to be part of the Flying Sword Sect.
Standing in front of the main building of the servant quarters, Xuan Hao headed to the front desk located at the centre inside the building.
"Hello, how can I help you?"
Smiling brightly, a young woman asked Xuan Hao as he was the only one currently present inside the servant quarters.
Stopping in front of the desk the young woman was sitting at, Xuan Hao took out his core elder medallion and showed it to the young lady, who immediately straightened up and looked towards Xuan Hao with respect.
"E-elder Xuan… H-how can I help you…?" Stuttering slightly over her words due to nervousness, the young woman patiently waited for his answer.
"I need a servant for my new disciple, a girl around the age of 15 would be preferable." Saying so, Xuan Hao watched as the young woman nodded her head frantically before darting out of the building and into the living quarters where the servants stayed and trained.
Smiling upon seeing the young woman run away with such speed, Xuan Hao found a bench at the side of the room to sit down and wait for the woman to return.
Meanwhile, the young woman ran directly to the head of the servant quarters and told him that Elder Xuan had come to ask for a servant for his new disciple.
Following this, a storm swept the servant quarter as everyone wanted to become the servant of Xuan Hao's new disciple.
After close to half an hour passed, the young woman returned and told Xuan Hao that the servant would be send over to his pavilion in a day or two.
Xuan Hao didn't mind, as it would normally take a few days for the servant quarters to choose who would be the best fit and go.
With that in mind Xuan Hao left the servant quarters and returned to his pavilion, unaware of the storm he had caused in the servant quarters.
