"Open up before I take some of your materials for myself!" Liao Tian shouted again after waiting a few minutes.

Yet, there was still no response.

"Odd. He'd always fall for that threat," he muttered with a raised eyebrow.

By now, Liao Tian began to sense that something might be amiss.

He knocked again, this time with more force.

"Open the damn door before I bust it open myself!" he roared.

No response.

Liao Tian had a strong urge to destroy the door and force himself inside to see the situation, but there was one minor problem. The door was being protected by a level 7 defensive formation, and he did not have the capability to remove it.

"Fuck…"

With no other option, Liao Tian rushed back to the Array Tower to request Tower Master Gao's assistance.

"What? Are you out of your mind? You want me to forcefully open Tower Master Ma's doors while he's in seclusion—the one with a level 7 formation? Do you have any idea how much effort that will take?" Tower Master Gao exclaimed after hearing Liao Tian's request.

"I know it sounds bad, but I think something bad happened to Tower Master Ma."

"What could possibly happen to him while he's inside his room? You also said he was in seclusion, so there's a good chance he just couldn't hear you knock. Or what? Are you saying that he, a Tier 7 Pill Ancestor, got into an accident while doing alchemy?"

"Stop asking so many damn questions and just come with me. Something bad happened. I can feel it," said Liao Tian, clearly getting impatient.

Tower Master Gao frowned, his expression stern as he said, "That's not the right attitude when asking for help. I may not know what you and Tower Master Ma have been working on behind the scenes, but I don't like it."

"Whatever. Let's go."

"Wait. You think I am going to remove that level 7 formation alone?"

"Didn't you create it?"

"I did—with the help of several other level 7 Array Masters. Although I can still remove it myself, it'll take a long time."

"How long?"

"A few weeks."

"We don't have that much time."

"Then you'll have to wait for me to gather a few helpers."

"I will wait for you at the Alchemy Tower," said Liao Tian. "Come as soon as possible."

While Liao Tian returned to the Alchemy Tower and continued knocking on the door, Tower Master Gao went to gather several high-level Array Masters.

Several hours later, Tower Master Gao visited the Alchemy Tower with these Array Masters. "How long will it take now?" Liao Tian asked.

"A few hours at least. But heavens, what is this stench? It smells like blood," Tower Master Gao exclaimed, his face contorting in shock as the pungent metallic odor filled his senses.

"I wanted you to hurry for a reason," Liao Tian shrugged.

"Fuck. Let's hurry up and get to work!" Tower Master Gao and the other Array Masters began working on the formation.

Meanwhile, Yuan saw Liao Tian, Tower Master Gao, and the Array Masters enter the Alchemy Tower in haste.

After leaving the boy and his mother, Yuan actually returned to the Alchemy Tower and hid in plain sight.

'Good thing I lingered for a little bit longer. Eight Array Masters and one blacksmith, huh? Judging by their clothes and badges, one was the Array Tower's Tower Master, and the blacksmith was the Metal Tower's Tower Master. They must be trying to force their way inside the room.'

'Now that they're outside their home and distracted by the situation at Alchemy Tower, it's a good time to check out their towers.'

With that in mind, Yuan swiftly left the Alchemy Tower and made his way to the Array Tower.

Using Shadow Veil, Yuan traveled to the peak of the tower. However, the door was also sealed by a level 7 formation.

Since he was just promoted to level 5 as an Array Master, there was simply no way for him to unlock the level 7 formation. Fortunately, he was not out of options and had other means of opening the door.

Yuan retrieved Number One Under Heaven and activated True Dragon Awakening without hesitation.

With his full strength, he unleashed God of War's Final Execution, directing a relentless barrage of strikes against the heavily fortified door, relying purely on brute force to force his way through. Strike after strike echoed in the air, the sheer intensity of the attacks shaking the surroundings and the tower as a whole, bewildering everyone within it.

Finally, as Yuan poured the last of his spiritual energy into one final, decisive blow, the formation protecting the door shattered under the overwhelming force.

Yuan entered the room and quickly investigated the place. After finding no hints, Yuan left the place without a second thought.

Soon after he left, the Array Masters in the Array Tower scrambled to the top floor to investigate the commotion, and the area quickly became flooded with frantic activity.

Meanwhile, Yuan was already halfway to the Metal Tower.

"S-someone broke into the Tower Master's floor! Contact the Tower Master! Quickly!" The Array Masters tried contacting Tower Master Gao, but there was no response, as he was too busy to even notice it.

"He's not responding! What should we do?!"

"The Tower Master went to the Alchemy Tower with Tower Master Liao, and he brought along several Array Masters with him!" someone suddenly said.

"I will go to the Alchemy Tower and meet with the Tower Master myself. In the meantime, try to figure out what had happened here and if anything had been stolen!"

Sometime later, at the Metal Tower, Yuan stood before its teleportation formation.

'This formation is virtually identical to the one at the Alchemy Tower and other towers. I guess they were all created by the Array Tower. This is great news since it saves me time trying to crack it.'

After spending just a few minutes, Yuan activated the formation and teleported himself to the top of the Metal Tower.
