*Rumble!*
As soon as Rean shattered the device, the formation beneath them, which extended for hundreds of kilometers, reacted instantly! Spiritual Energy, Spatial Power, and Time Power seemed to leak through countless holes, quickly becoming saturated.
Both the experts from the Inquisition Hall and those from various planets couldn't help but be impressed by the sheer amount of Spiritual Energy present at that moment. It was almost tangible-a true cultivation paradise, even better than it had been before the chaos began. *Crack, crack, crack...*
The formation started to break apart, releasing intense light as cracks appeared all around. This phenomenon wasn't limited to just one area; all the other formations across the planet began to respond in the same way. Without the device that Rean had just destroyed, which controlled these formations, they could no longer function properly.
However, that was not the only reason for this disruption. Karev was also a contributing factor. The Divine Werdlem Stones that he had stolen were crucial to the control system of this Solar System-sized formation. Additionally, Karev had damaged the core where the Divine Werdlem Stones resided, which exacerbated the situation. It was nothing short of a miracle that everything hadn't spiraled out of control at that point; Rean was surprised that the device he had in his hand was able to maintain those formations working on its own so far... until he destroyed it, of course.
Spiritual Energy continued to rise across the planet, and the loss of the formations ceased to affect the Spatial flow as well. This was to be expected. These formations had been gathering Spiritual Energy from all inhabited planets, and none of it would be sent back. Naturally, Closal would retain all of it, and it would take decades for the planet to return to its normal levels of Spiritual Energy.
While the Inquisition Hall and the other experts were distracted by the changes in the environment, Rean quickly activated his Light and Divine Sense Bending Skills. Kentucky then flew to Rifindio's side, making their group disappear in thin air. The twins had no interest in the outcome of the battle. They didn't care who would take over the Inquisition Hall, or who would answer for all of this. They just wanted to get out of there.
Even after both sides recovered their attention, the Inquisition Hall and the experts didn't continue their battle. This battle had been initiated because the formations of the planet were stealing everyone's Spiritual Energy from their Dantians and Cores. With the formations now breaking apart, that effect was also canceled. Now, it was up to the Inquisition Hall to explain just what it was all about.
Unfortunately for the experts of the Inquisition Hall, not even they knew exactly why they were doing it. All they knew was that a Camazotz Bat from the Supreme Palace, in this case Duere, had ordered them to do so. The Inquisition Halls all over the Universe were ultimately under the control of the Supreme Palace, so they couldn't go against Duere's orders. It was that simple.
In the end, the remaining leaders of the Inquisition Hall would have to contact the higher realms and ask them for advice. They, too, wanted to know what was the meaning of all this commotion. Little did they know, but the Supreme Palace was also oblivious to everything that was happening in this place. It was all Duere's own devices... Or, to be more specific, the Abyssal Soul controlling him. In any case, they would only find out about this later on.
At some point, the various experts from both sides began to look for Rean, Roan, and Kentucky. Yet, neither side knew who they were and where they went. All that was believed was that the twins' group was also from the Divine Realm. After all, that kind of strength wasn't something you could find on this planet. And they all saw with their Spiritual Senses that the twins' group were in the same Transition Realm... except when Rean and Roan merged.
The Inquisition Hall had little time to go look for them, though. They were already having to deal with the fury of the Transition Realm experts from all over the Solar System. The Inquisition Hall wasn't worried, though.
If the Inquisition Hall truly desired it, they could use their authority over the Werdlem Network in Closal Planet to block everyone's Werdlem Stones. Once they do that, none of those Transition Realm experts would be able to absorb or use Spiritual Energy anymore.
That also raised the question in everyone's minds. Why did the Inquisition Hall even go to battle against everyone? Couldn't they simply have used their authority and stopped all enemies from causing trouble? In fact, that was also a question posed to Duere by the various leaders of the Inquisition Halls of the solar system. They couldn't understand why Duere insisted on defending their position through battle. Unfortunately for them, Duere didn't give them an answer and forced his orders as a member of the Supreme Palace. Everything was just too confusing.
Of course, the twins' group knew why that was the case. The intention was to gather as much Spiritual Energy as possible. The battle happening over the formations was fueling the formation below even faster, and Duere intended to let it happen for an entire day nonstop. It was perfect. He never told anyone about that, although many could guess it after they saw the outcome of the battles.
Far away, Rean deactivated his Light and Divine Sense Bending Skill, and his group hid in a remote corner of the planet. They didn't waste time outside. Rean simply built a simple detection and camouflage formation at that spot, and they entered the Dimensional Realm. There was still much to be reviewed.
Inside the Dimensional Realm, Rean asked first. "Sister Orb, how is it?"
[They are going down,] Sister Orb answered, using her senses to feel some of those huge formations closest to their location. [The formations on this planet should completely collapse at any moment now.]
*Pin!*
[Congratulations, Hosts.]
Sure enough, the system also detected it.
