Chapter 3280: Let's go
?
The process still took a few more hours than it did with Foliana, though. Rean also didn't find anything wrong during the process after Roan's warning, so whatever was wrong with this guy, it wasn't in his body. Nonetheless, Rean managed to finish the job perfectly and was now holding the prisoner's previous Divine Werdlem Stone. "Well then, let's go out."
Back in the mansion, Roan was still standing in the same place, his arms crossed and eyes closed. Waritala even wondered if he was actually a puppet to be able to stay like that for so long.
*Zush, zush!*
Rean and the prisoner appeared in the mansion once again, with Rean putting the guy down. "Alright, Waritala. I finished the change. By the way, here you go." He also threw the guy's previous Werdlem Stone to her.
Waritala caught the Werdlem Stone, surprised to see it without any scratch. However, what mattered the most was the prisoner. She sent some of her Spiritual Sense and Energy into his body, undoing the seal that kept him unconscious.
The guy finally woke up for the first time. He got up, and removed the equipment on his head, looking around. "Is... Is it over?"
Waritala seemed concerned and quickly pulled out a CD that hadn't been registered to anyone's Werdlem ID yet. "We will find out now. Try to register a new account."
The prisoner nodded and used his Werdlem Stone Signature Energy to operate the CD. Sure enough, the Communication Device identified a new user and asked for the information necessary for the new account. It was the proof of a never used before Divine Werdlem Stone. Immediately, Spiritual Energy rushed through the prisoner's meridians, and his cultivation at the Elemental Transformation Realm Middle Stage surfaced. "I can cultivate again!"
Rean glanced at Roan. 'Is that what I think it is?'
'Most certainly,' Roan nodded. He had noticed it even before Rean took the prisoner into the Dimensional Realm.
Waritala's expression finally relaxed, and then a big smile appeared on her face as she hugged the 'prisoner,' or so she had called him before. "Yes, you definitely can. You finally can do it again, Ruivo!"
"Mother..." Turns out the so-called prisoner was Waritala's son!
Neither Rean nor Roan said anything, as they reached that conclusion already.
Waritala finally let the young man go, looking at the twins. "You don't seem surprised."
Roan confirmed without caring much. "We aren't, don't ask why, though."
When Waritala first spoke about the prisoner, Roan didn't detect any lies, nor did Rean. However, he did notice a fluctuation in Waritala's emotions. That meant this man was indeed a prisoner. That part was true. On the other hand, when Waritala talked as if she didn't care about the guy, Roan found out that wasn't really the case.
"Aren't you going to ask anything?" Waritala asked, now feeling more relaxed.
"I won't, nor do I care," Roan spoke as coldly as ever. "You got what you wanted. However, it is also true you want to disappear, isn't it? Are you ready to bring us up?"
"Yes!" Waritala was actually satisfied the twins didn't ask anything about her situation nor her son's. "Give me an hour. I will prepare everything, and we can go up. Also, put my son in your Pocket Dimensional Realm. That way, you can hold him as a hostage to make sure I will not go back on my word."
"That's an acceptable agreement," Roan said. In fact, that was his idea from the start. The fact that Waritala brought that idea up was even better.
"Mother..." the young man looked at her, concerned. He knew what was at stake and what could happen if it was found out his mother managed to swap his Werdlem Stone.
"There is no need for you to say anything," Waritala spoke softly. "What's the point of a life where you can't even cultivate anymore? I managed to keep you alive, but that was as much as those pieces of shit were willing to accept. If we go down, we go down together. Now, just let yourself enter their Pocket Dimensional Realm, and your mother will take care of the rest."
The young man nodded, taking a deep breath and looking at the twins. "I'm ready."
Before that, Rean smiled, asking. "Ruivo, right?"
"Yes, senior," Ruivo confirmed.
"Don't worry, you two will be fine," Rean continued. Then, he waved his hand, and the young man was brought into the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm.
Waritala sighed before her expression showed her resolve. "I'll be fast. You can wait here." Without saying anything, she took her CD out and dashed into the mansion while talking on it. The puppets and many other things disappeared one after another. At the same time, the twins felt some Spatial Fluctuations coming from the Divine Realm base far in the distance. Just like the other times, the formation was being prepared to activate.
Waritala didn't take an hour, though. She was back just forty minutes later, speaking with the twins with confidence. "I'm ready. I also passed the orders forward, and we will be going up straight away."
"Won't the Divine Realm side find it weird that you are going up all of a sudden? Also, what about the Formations Masters down here? You aren't the only Formations Master of the Divine Realm taking care of that formation." Rean asked back. That was quite abrupt.
"They won't," Waritala assured them, though. "This recognizance coordinates maintenance was already scheduled to happen at some point this next few weeks; only waiting for the orders to go ahead. There are only two other formations masters occupying a position similar to mine in that building, and they will be nothing but happy that I'm taking this job in their place. None of us like these jobs, so I simply said I needed something from up there, and that's why I'm going to do it this time. As you can imagine, they accepted it without even a hint of displeasure."
"In that case, Roan will go with you. It will be less suspicious if you only need to bring one extra person with you. I will be in his Pocket Dimensional Realm," Rean commented, quickly disappearing right after.
Waritala looked at Roan. "That's even better. So, shall we go?"
Finding no traces of lies in Waritala's words, Roan nodded and joined her. "Let's go."
