Chapter 1334 Intermissions & Sign-Up Sheets
Chapter 1334 Intermissions & Sign-Up Sheets
At that point, TJ and a few people around him were confused but it didn't take long before Dax and Sheepy came in with surprise, surprise, Diesel—but of course, a fed-up nurse was following behind them looking at me for some relief.
'I guess this shit is getting better and better, huh?'
Then Sheepy quickly made himself known, "Wazzup, Teej?! If you wanna have a go, you could've said so! I'd hate to fucking say it but even though we were both— I mean while my brother and I and you were starving, we were getting the shit out of our system!"
Tesla never looked so happy to see them, "Yo! Wassup?!"
Sheepy threw him a look, "'Zup?! The fuck Tes'?! Haven't told that motherfucker we saved you guys?!"
"I—"
TJ cut in, "SHUT THE FUCK UP?! IF YOU REALLY WANNA GO—"
I cut in before he could do more damage to those recovering idiots, "Hold up, hold up… You're really pushing your advantage, huh? Your bones are pristine and you've been eating well while they were still in recovery for what you did to them. But if you really wanna go, I could break some bones for ya and do this right now?"
"W-What?! A-Are you fucking kidding me?!"
"Not at all! I'd be happy to do it!"
"You— T-Then— W-When's the thing?!"
I never smiled so wide, "Not now, that's for sure. But yeah, they didn't even ask me to do this but since they're doing their own shit, I'm doing mine. Because one, I still believe in equality and two, even though almost everyone else who agreed with you were dumb enough to do so, there are still right and wrong and extreme instances where doing either of them could be subjective.
I might just torture you for three days straight which was wrong on paper but if it's to straighten you up, it just might be the right thing for ya. Get me?"
"T-That's…"
"We'll discuss the specifics later but for now," I said as I faced everyone else, "I apologize for the sudden intermission of these people so we'll continue on with the meeting—"
TJ then cut me off, "No, no, no, you started this shit— Gchk—"
"Excuse me?" I said as I stared him down with the added debuff, "I started this shit? YOU started this shit. And need I remind you, you and your family's under my roof and I've been nothing but nice to all of ya."
"Then what the fuck are you doing now? Huh?!"
"Again, Mr. Zero IQ, YOU started it, not me. Once you're all under me, everything you do will be under my microscope whether you like it or not and whatever I fucking do to you, I can fucking get away with— It's just that I don't because I'm a fucking good person. Do you fucking understand me?
You should really be thanking me AND them right now because they just requested a fair fight, not have all your possessions redistributed elsewhere and have you shipped off somewhere without your family."
"W-What?! You can't do that!"
I rolled my eyes, "Believe me, I can. So yeah, let's just say that this is your official FIRST warning and there shouldn't be a second one. I'm just a little lenient because you fucks are new and trust me, it's already enough to drag your name to the mud, don't involve the rest of your family because of your stupidity."
"..."
Then I turned to his ex-supporters, "And to you fucks who support this dumb behavior, wait till it happens to you, see where it lands you." Continue your saga on empire
"W-We're sorry, sir—"
"We d-don't know, r-really!"
"I thought it was—"
I rolled my eyes as I cut them off, "Enough. Sit the fuck down because we still have a few more things to talk about."
At that point, as I let a few more people talk about minor reports, since Oscar was the one facilitating the moves of our US Troops all over, I let him bring up the topic of who we'd send over. While it was true that it was a hard choice to move elsewhere while they had settled, it was a different story for those who didn't fit in or who wanted to have a fresh start.
Of course, we wouldn't just send people we'd rather not have because yeah, we'd also send in a few apprentices of different trades over so they could further develop their skills on their own. And yes, they'd be able to impart their own learned knowledge and learn from a different group of people so there were little to no downsides in doing this besides the move itself.
"Alright, the sign-up sheet's over on Rin's side again and they'd need as much as they'd send here! Remember, since I had Mitch send most of them anywhere else first, this would be the last place they'd send in people so it'd be in 3-4 days max! Be ready by then and if you have ongoing duties or responsibilities have your officer know of it so they can easily transition and adjust!"
Rachel then cut in from the back, "You done, Colonel?"
"Yeah! Is it your turn, now?"
"Yep! I won't take long, I promise!"
"Heh, go ahead then."
And as Rachel went up the stage, she looked a little timid at first before she took a deep breath:
"Huuu~ Alright! Listen up! I also have a little sign-up sheet here too and it's for those who wish to become pilots! I believe it's been tried before by Miss Micah but since she also have a lot of responsibilities, she wasn't able to fully fill the role!
So now, I decided to take it upon myself to teach people how to fly planes and helicopters because it's a much-needed skill only a few like myself were able to learn before the world ended. That's it! Thanks for your time!"
But after a brief moment of silence, more than a dozen people ran to where she sat down and Jennifer had to put each of them in a headlock because it seemed that they were too eager to have this almost lost art learned.
I just had to put it that way because even with two airports and one flight school in our territories, we only have a handful of pilots who can safely fly them, much less, perform maintenance on them—but the same couldn't be said about our ships.
Because excluding big ships and the Nimitz-class destroyers, all my fucking uncles knew how to run a fishing boat and it was easier and safer to teach a person how to operate a boat than a plane. Still, both skills were much needed and as much as I'd hate to say this, there were still people in my fold who still didn't know how to drive a manual car, much less ride a bicycle.
And that was when Matthew surprisingly showed up:
"Alright, I'll also make this quick. I have a sign-up sheet here for those kids who didn't grew up with a father or a proper one. Heck, I'll teach you how to ride a bike, change a tire, drive a stick, shoot a gun, build a fire, and aspire for my approval—and you'll get all of those things besides the last one.
This shit is very new for me so I'll probably take a dozen or so but it'll change depending on my mood. You can sign up with me, not Rin."
Funnily enough, a lot of young adults walked over to Matthew—Tesla included—but it seemed like there was a pattern of having sign-up sheets for tonight. And yeah, what came after him was a sign-up sheet for blood donations, apprentice work, and other activities that involved more than just honing a specific trade.
The only one who didn't have to introduce herself was Micah because her search for more girls to do legit sex work was still ongoing.
While it was true that some were doing it on the side, her girls need more rest in between to pursue and learn other trades—at the same time—she needed more people to not just space up her rooms but also enhance everyone else's experience.
Because yeah, she didn't only need people who could either bend over or spread their legs but she also needed people who had great people skills, could do massages, perform specific dances or songs, etc. but most importantly, someone who knew how to be discreet, hygienic, and only give information only to me and her.
Evidently, the crowd's overall perception about her ad was 50/50 and there was a lot to say about it since she didn't have a sign-up sheet prepared and only required to have the aspiring applicants to do it by paying her a visit or talking over it by the phone. And before you ask, phone sex seemed to be in as well so having a lovely voice was also a requirement.
'Hmm… Should I bring 'that' up though?'
