Destroying My Own World

Chapter 158 Perfect tool.

Chapter 158 Perfect tool.

Anzel came back with his hands clenched, and he was blinded by the rage that he planned to kill Lyneth and the others. When he was close enough to Lyneth, he dashed forward and pulled his hand back to punch her, but suddenly Edith blocked his attack with her left hand.

Edith grabbed Anzel's arm and pulled him toward her then slammed him to the ground. She didn't hesitate to break his hand and arm by twisting it until it made a loud cracking sound. Lyneth stopped her when Edith was about to cut off Anzel's arm with the dagger she hid under her sleeve.

"Anzel! What the fuck were you doing?!" Anastasia shouted as she looked at Anzel who was still blinded by rage. "Stop it! Stop resisting or you will die!" Anastasia glared at Anzel who was trying to hurt Edith's hands.

"They fucking killed him! They killed Anderson!" Anzel shouted back as he tried to get up and ignored his broken arm.

"Oh? Did he die? Good for him then," Lyneth looked down at Anzel. "He can't be saved anyway, so it's better for him to die since he's physically and mentally broken," Lyneth pointed out.

Edith realized that Anzel was slowly getting stronger and that his hand had recovered. She wasn't sure if that was his power or something else because she felt an ominous aura coming from him. She then glanced at the ring on his middle finger and noticed it was coming from the ring.

"You bitch!" Anzel yelled as he glared at Lyneth.

Lyneth looked down at Anzel and that word somehow pissed her off, and so she snatched Edith's dagger. She kneed Anzel right in the chest and made a loud cracking sound, and then sent him back to the ground. Before she could do anything else, Gea threatened her with a burning bow and arrow in her hands.

"Don't do it. You're outnumbered, and we don't really have any problem with you guys since you're only managing the Guild," Gea said as she pointed her bow at Lyneth's head. "Be wise, Miss Lyneth," Gea pulled the string and the arrow started to burn fiercer.

Lyneth glanced at Gea and then gave the dagger back to Edith as she slowly stood up and raised her hands. Gea then dispersed the flame and made the bow and arrow in her hands disappear. It was quite unique to look at, and the three of them wondered how powerful that skill might be. Stay connected through empire

Danny, Luis, and Anastasia grabbed Anzel's arms and body to stop him from trying to harm Edith and Lyneth. They managed to bring him away from Edith and put him far back to avoid any more problems.

"It's a shame that Mykel isn't here. Looks like we have to come back again when he's back," Lucifer said as he looked at Beldathiel. "I have given you my contact, so please contact me when he's back. It's for the better future, for all of us," Lucifer added.

"I have known Mykel for so long, and we don't have any plan to see all of you in the future," Lyneth said and looked Lucifer in the eye. "You've condemned us as your enemy, so we will act like one," Lyneth added as she stared at Sasha.

"Are you sure that's what Mykel thinks? How long have you known him that you're so confident that you said those things on his behalf?" Sasha asked and stared back at Lyneth.

Lyneth smirked and slowly walked toward Sasha with her arms crossed. She stood right in front of Sasha who was on the same height as her, and then leaned her head forward.

"Long enough to entrust everything to me," Lyneth answered with her eyebrows raised.

"Are you sure that he's doing that because he's not using you? I think you don't know him that well," Sasha asked again as she didn't avert her gaze from Lyneth's eyes.

"Of course, he's using me because he knows I'm good at this. But in exchange, he accepts my love for him, he respects me, he gives me what I want, and lastly, he gave me something precious," Lyneth answered and chuckled.

"You're just one of the many. You're not special in his eyes," Sasha pointed out.

"So what? He can love as many women as he wants, and I'm fine with that. In fact, we all share him and none of us are dissatisfied with it," Lyneth replied as she leaned her head back. "In the current situation, sharing a man is needed. In our case, Mykel is our man, and giving him heirs are the things that we want," Lyneth added.

The topic became so weird that everyone who listened to them started to get confused. Although they had no idea what was going on, the way Sasha spoke to Lyneth was like someone who knew Mykel really well. They remembered that the two of them were only acquaintances and nothing more, but she appeared to be showing more than just that.

"That's disgusting," Sasha said as she squinted her eyes and looked at Lyneth with disgust. "You're a human, not an animal. Why would you stoop that low?" Sasha asked.

"Don't be so naive, Sasha. You won't get anywhere with that kind of thinking," Lyneth said as she walked away. "We all love him, and we all love him as a leader, but some of us love him as a man. Saying that's disgusting is the same as insulting the Gods," Lyneth continued.

"We are not Gods, we are humans," Sasha said.

"You're so naive..." Lyneth frowned and looked at Sasha pitifully. "You're not only dealing with humans. You're dealing with demons, Gods, and angels. You have to think like them if you want to achieve greatness," Lyneth pointed out.

"I don't care about them. I don't want to be like them," Sasha replied and somehow she looked a bit pissed.

"A person can dig a hole with their hands, but they prefer to use a shovel. Do you know why?" Lyneth asked as she turned around to look at Sasha. "It's easier and their hands won't get dirty. They only use a tool because it's convenient not because they have to," Lyneth continued.

"What are you trying to say?" Sasha asked with her eyebrows furrowed.

"With the way you think, you'll always be a tool. A tool that can't fight back, a dead object that can be thrown away after being used," Lyneth answered as she chuckled. "That's what makes us different from all of you. Although you're all blessed by the angels, you're nothing but tools in our eyes," Lyneth continued as she crossed her arms.

Anzel and the others disagreed with what Lyneth said, but Sasha couldn't argue because she knew the truth. She wondered what kind of expression Lucifer was making, and when she glanced at him, he was smirking.

"Giving a lecture to an enemy. I never thought I would be so foolish," Lyneth scoffed as she walked away. "Our talk here is done, and you should leave now or we won't stay quiet," Lyneth said.

"Oh, this might be a good eye-opening for you guys," Lyneth stopped before she entered the car. "Angels and Demons are the same. One is a tool the other is a tool that fought back, but either way, they're the same thing. If you think one is better than the other, you're just gaslighting yourself. Goodbye," Lyneth pointed out and then entered the car and left the airport.

On their way back to headquarters, Beldathiel looked at Lyneth and she was glad that it went well.

"He didn't suspect us at all, and I have to say you both dealt with the situation really well. I thought you both are going to show off your new power and blew it for Mykel since he doesn't want Lucifer to know anything about what we have achieved," Beldathiel said as she looked at both of them.

"Yes. We are aware of that, and I almost blew it off," Edith nodded her head. "Anyway, Beldathiel, did you feel that ominous aura on Anzel? I realize it came from his ring," Edith asked as she drove the car.

"Yes. It smelled really bad the angrier he got, and I could tell that he became stronger the angrier he became back then," Beldathiel answered as she looked out the window. "That clue is enough to give us the answer. It was Satan who gave him the ring, and he gave it to Anzel when he was in the bunker," Beldathiel added.

"Powerful and yet so naive. A perfect tool for those beings," Lyneth said as she sighed.
