Chapter 159 Bear fruit.
Chapter 159 Bear fruit.
Amaryllis heard about what happened on Earth, and she was glad that that nothing happened to them. She was asked to tell Mykel about Lucifer and Sasha's visit, but she couldn't that because Mykel and Elena were undergoing a hard training.
"If Lucifer and the other Princes of Hell have stepped their foot on Earth, they wouldn't let the Awakeners and the Chosen Ones to clear the portal. They will deceive them and made them believe that they were saving the world," Hera said after she heard about Lucifer's visit. "One by one they will follow them like a saint, a prophet. One of the signs of the end of the world," Hera continued as she stared blankly at the beautiful garden from inside the house.
"What's the chance of us to persuade the Gods of Earth to join hand and fight them?" Amaryllis asked as she made a cup of tea for herself.
"Zero. The core of the problem is Mykel, not Lucifer or his followers. As long as Mykel is alive, the end will happen," Hera answered as she looked at her own reflection on the cup of tea. "Also, only a few maybe a handful of Gods that know about Lucifer and his followers that walk among humans. If they know, they would have warn the Chosen Ones," Hera added.
"Honestly, I don't know much about the whole situation. They keep us blind about the universe and how everything work. The only one who knows much is Odin, but he kept that knowledge for himself," Hera said as she crossed her arms on the table.
Amaryllis hummed, but then she saw someone appeared from the sky and fell to the ground really hard. She and Hera were surprised and looked at who entered the Empyrean World like that. To their surprise it was Luciel, and she was struggling to stand up with broken armor on her body, other than that, she looked fine.
Amaryllis looked at Luciel and she wondered why she came to the Empyrean World, but when she looked at the location where she sent Mykel's clone and Luciel, she was amazed.
"I think you need to bring me more than just one this time. Or, just give me something more powerful than this," Luciel said as she threw Mykel's clone head towards Amaryllis.
Little Sasha was scared when she looked at Mykel's head, but Hera assured her that it wasn't the real Mykel. Hera was a bit surprised that Luciel managed to kill the homunculus because it was supposed to be unbeatable.
"You gained a new power. How did you get that?" Amaryllis asked as she looked at Luciel with curiosity.
"I don't know, but during the whole fight, I'm thinking of cutting his body and want my cuts strong enough to kill him," Luciel answered as she looked at her trembling hands because of the intense fight she had with Mykel's clone. "When I was in the brink of losing, my skills are combined," Luciel pointed out.
"Combined?" Hera asked with her eyebrows raised.
"Yes. My Pride, Arrogance, and my Spatiokinesis are combined into a new skill," Luciel answered as she nodded her head. "They turned into one, and it's called Absolute which makes every action absolute and can't be stopped. When I cut his arm, I realized he can't regenerate it anymore, and at that point, I cut off his head and killed him," Luciel answered.
"I see. Let me see it for myself," Amaryllis said as she created a thick barrier right in front of her. She was confident that her barrier was strong enough to stop Elena's life energy from destroying it. "Cut the barrier for me," Amaryllis looked at Luciel.
"Cut?" Luciel asked as she raised her eyebrows. "I don't need my sword to do that!" Luciel suddenly punched the air, but the barrier was cracked even though she was far away from where the barrier was.
The barrier shattered on its own, but then Amaryllis realized that Luciel could attack anything without being restricted by distance. It surprised and amazed Amaryllis that Luciel could destroy the barrier that easily. But after the barrier was gone, Luciel groaned as she hid her fist, and it turned out she broke her fist and wrist when she broke the barrier. In the end, even if her attack was absolute, she still got the drawback from the thing she attacked.
"Looks like I'm still too weak for that. I need to focus on my physical body," Luciel said after she recovered. "I think I know what kind of training I need for now," Luciel looked at Amaryllis.
"Then I'll prepare a fitting training for you," Amaryllis said and then opened a portal for Luciel. "You will be able to increase your physical strength and perhaps upgrade another skill there," Amaryllis pointed out.
"Alright, thanks," Luciel said, and then entered the portal.
As soon as Luciel left, a giant portal opened, and this time it was Aurea, and she landed right in front of Amaryllis with Mykel's clone that had been crushed and unrecognizable anymore. She stepped on the clone's body and the clone was unable to free himself from her foot.
"Give me ten more of him. This isn't fun anymore," Aurea said as she looked at Amaryllis. Your journey continues with empire
"Are you sure about that?" Amaryllis asked as she looked at the clone.
"Yeah, I'm sure. This is too easy," Aurea crushed the clone's body like a bottle of ketchup. "Just give me ten more and I'll be fine," Aurea pointed out.
"Alright, but before that, can I ask if you gained any new power?" Amaryllis asked.
"New power? Why would I need new power? I'm already untouchable and invincible. I'll think about it if I struggle to fight these things," Aurea answered.
Amaryllis nodded with understanding and brought ten more clones of Mykel and sent them into the giant portal. Aurea thanked her and then went back into the portal to fight all of them at once.
"Didn't Jeanne struggle to fight one? How did she make it look like it wasn't a problem?" Hera asked as she looked at Amaryllis.
"She has always been the odd one, and to be honest, I don't even know what's her actual limit. She has never been go all out, and I think if she was there to help Mykel defeat Mara, she might become a lot more stronger than now. This might be the chance for me to see what's her actual limit," Amaryllis answered.
"Well, that's that, but what about the others? Are they struggle or are they like Aurea and Luciel?" Hera asked.
Amaryllis looked at each one of them and observed their struggles to fight the clones. Although none of them had achieved like what Aurea and Luciel had achieved, they were strong enough to fight the clones with everything they got. She believed if they were given more time, they would achieve something that even themselves couldn't believe.
When she was busy observing everyone, she stumbled upon something that shocked her. Gerrard was standing still and watching Mykel's clone get ripped apart by something. She was curious and decided to enter to observe it from up close.
"What do you do to him?" Amaryllis asked as she approached Gerrard as she kept watching Mykel's clone's body shredded and torn apart.
"The strings. I can see them and understand how they work now," Gerrard answered as he kept moving his fingers like a pianist. "I can control his life strings, and control them like a puppet," Gerrard explained.
"That's really powerful. Can you kill him?" Amaryllis asked.
"Yes, by doing this," Gerrard pulled his left ring finger and then Mykel's clone stopped moving and collapsed in an instant. "I just destroyed the core," Gerrard pointed out.
"You can manipulate everyone with it?" Amaryllis asked with curiosity.
"I could, but it won't be that easy because the more people around, the more strings there are. I need to find them specifically and control them. It's not really great if there are more people around, but this is why I'm doing this. I need to master it, so can you bring me some more of them?" Gerrard asked as he looked at Amaryllis.
"That won't be a problem," Amaryllis smiled gently as she snapped her fingers and brought five more. "Good luck, Gerrard. I'm amazed that you could beat the others, even Jeanne," Amaryllis pointed out.
"It's nothing, really, but than you," Gerrard smiled back.
"Well then, I won't bother you anymore," Amaryllis said and then left Gerrard alone.
