Chapter 161 Unaware.

Sasha and the others ate dinner together in the dining hall with a giant painting of Sasha on the wall. She didn't know when it was made, but it looked real and she thought it was enough to convince the others that she belonged to the Redshield family. On the other hand, she felt uncomfortable seeing a painting of herself in the dining hall.

She realized that Anastasia, Gea, and Eun Soo had become more aggressive toward Lucifer. They were pushing their way in that even Danny and Luis could tell they were trying to get Lucifer's attention. Luis didn't like it, but he had no reason to barge in since Lucifer wasn't the one who made the move.

Sasha noticed that Anzel had been oddly quiet the whole evening and he barely touched his food. She then looked at his middle finger and noticed he had been rubbing it with his fingers as he stared blankly at the table. She noticed it oozed an ominous aura, and she was surprised that she didn't realize that sooner.

"Is the food isn't your liking?" Sasha asked Anzel.

"What? No, it's not that. I just don't have the appetite after what I saw back there," Anzel answered as he shook his head. "I think I'm going to sleep early today, I'll see you guys tomorrow," Anzel said and then left the dining hall.

Luis followed Anzel not long after since he was sick of listening to the ladies talk. Danny was enjoying his food and didn't bother about what was going on around the table.

Sasha looked at the three of them and wondered why the angels didn't warn the three of them about Lucifer. No matter how she looked at it, those three were about to be in the same situation as her, and yet the angels seemed not to care about it.

"(Are you sure you're going to let them be like that?)" Sasha asked Raphael.

Raphael didn't respond to her question, and she thought that Raphael was done with her. She then brushed it off and didn't bother about it since it was none of her business anyway.

"Sasha, can I have your time after this? There's something that I would like to discuss," Lucifer asked.

"No. I'm tired and we can talk about it tomorrow in the morning. I want to rest for the night and I don't want to be bothered," Sasha said as she grabbed the napkin and put it on the table. "Just meet me in the meeting room at nine tomorrow," Sasha added and then left since it made her lose her appetite when Lucifer tried to speak with her.

Lucifer looked at the three of them and showed his concern when Sasha was acting coldly toward him. He asked for their sympathy and the three of them gave what he wanted, but they didn't dare to say anything bad about Sasha since Danny was still there in the dining hall.

"I'll take my leave. I hope you guys enjoy your stay here," Lucifer said as he wiped his mouth with a napkin. "If you need anything, I'll be in the drinking room," Lucifer smiled and then left the dining hall.

Danny had been pretending not to care but he listened to everything and understood why Sasha was cold toward Lucifer. He believed that Sasha knew how rotten Lucifer's personality was and that she was sick and tired of seeing his act. He had been staying to prevent those three from going further, but he knew his words wouldn't reach them since it would only put him in a bad spot.

"What are you guys planning on doing tonight? Want to watch some movies? I saw a home theater in this building earlier," Danny asked as he looked at the three of them.

"I'm going to sleep, I'm pretty tired from the jetlag," Anastasia answered.

"Me too. I just want to lay down and play with my phone in my room," Gea shook her head.

"I'm going to chill in my room as well," Eun Soo answered.

Danny looked at the three of them and realized how bad they were at lying. He could see the three of them wanted to meet Lucifer in the drinking room.

"Alright, I guess I'm going to get something to drink," Danny stood up as he sighed, and then left the dining hall.

The three of them looked at Danny leaving, but they couldn't go to the drinking room since Danny was there. They had no choice but to go back to their own room and eat their own words.

The night came and Anastasia wondered if Lucifer was still in the drinking room. She decided to go and check and hoped that Danny had already left, but if not, she had prepared an excuse for him.

When she arrived, she couldn't help but smile when she saw Lucifer still in there, but she noticed there was a woman who was with him. She thought it was Gea or Eun Soo, but it wasn't them, so she decided to approach them. She could see the woman was beautiful and compared to the woman, she was nothing.

"I'll take my leave, Eric. I have an errand to do in the morning, I'll talk to you later," The woman said and then left the drinking room.

"I have never seen her before, is she part of the guild?" Anastasia asked Lucifer as she sat next to him.

"No, she's one of the people who take care of the place. She's really sweet if you get to know her," Lucifer answered. "I have asked her to help me run the guild, but she always declined. I think I can feel at home and ease if I'm with her," Lucifer added.

Listening to that made Anastasia a bit jealous, so she grabbed a bottle that was on the table. She chugged it and didn't even care what kind of drink she put in her mouth. Lucifer glanced at her and raised his eyebrows with a surprised look.

"Can't sleep?" Lucifer asked as he pulled out a cigarette and put it in his mouth.

"Now I can't," Anastasia answered coldly.

"I apologize if I offended you. I'll accompany you until the morning if you want," Lucifer said as he looked at Anastasia. "That's if you're okay with that," Lucifer added.

"I would love that," Anastasia said as she smiled shyly.

They spent all night alone, and they started to do physical intimacy that ended up with them kissing. Lucifer brought her to his room, and she was still in disbelief that she ended up in his room. She was nervous and happy at the same time, but the way Lucifer treated her, it made her calm and comfortable.

Azrael watched those two and decided that it was enough for her to watch and went back. She was angered that her warnings couldn't reach Anastasia, and not only her, the others couldn't warn Gea and Eun Soo. They realized Lucifer had sabotaged the system and made Anzel and the others unaware of whom they were dealing with.

"We need to tell our lord about this. Sooner or later, the only ones who can save Earth and humanity will be corrupted if we don't stop it," Azrael said as she looked at Uriel, Michael, and Gabriel.

"Raphael is meeting The Lord right now, and we can only wait for the answers he got," Michael said as he looked up high into the sky.

(In the heaven)

Raphael was on his knee and looked up as the bright light lightened up his face. He was silently listening to the voice that nobody could hear, and he didn't show any expression as he listened to the voice.

"My Lord. You're the almighty who knows all, but why let this happen?" Raphael asked.

Raphael quietly stared at the light and his expression slowly changed as he raised his eyebrows. The answer shocked him and he couldn't help but have a bit of doubt about everything.

"If it is your will, then why do we let those humans come here and let them see us?" Raphael asked again.

The answer shocked him again, and this time he lowered his head before he left. When he went down to meet with Michael and the others, he was still speechless.

"What did The Lord say?" Uriel asked.

"The end of Earth is unavoidable because it is The Lord's will," Raphael answered as he looked at them. "Everything that has happened and what will happen, everything is under The Lord's will and we will embrace it," Raphael added.
